After Ella’s remark, a knight turned to Smila, who still couldn’t dare to turn toward Max and was standing away from him. Then he turned to Ella, who expressed her utmost disappointment to him. His face blushed in embarrassment.
“Enough of this fuss. Can you all please leave this garden?” Ella snapped.
“But…”
“Isn’t my order more important than an order from the associate head butler? Is it not?”
Although the knights withdrew their swords, they didn’t seem to fall back, so Ella frowned.
“It’s dangerous, milady.”
Ella scoffed at the excuse they barely managed to make. ‘Who do they think is in danger? Are they talking about me?’
There was no threat existing within the Constance estate. Ella’s eyes changed at their words. There was a new target to unleash her anger. A dangerous smile that Evan might have fled if he had seen appeared on her face. The overwhelming feeling that was quite different from the vicious look she had made shocked the knights. It was at that moment.
“What made you all waste your time chattering about when you should’ve been at the training grounds? Is it because you still have the energy to do so, or because you have a death wish?”
Behind Ella, a sullen voice was heard. The knights who turned to look at the man behind the voice became so pale that their skin looked like it was bleached and crumbled away.
‘What is he doing here?’ Ella thought after turning her head to check who it was. Then she got up from her seat with a sigh. There were a handful of people that she could stand other than her family in this estate. This man was one of those people.

Knight Lieutenant Vylun, the weirdest of all strange men, was born into a prestigious family, so he did not need to go through such hardship. However, he was persuaded by a weirder man, Eric, and joined Constance. It was probably… because Eric persuaded him that if he became the captain of the knights and Vylun became the lieutenant, they would create the best order of the continent.
This meant that Vylun was insanely dedicated to the sword. It was a shame that a highly-skilled, crazy man had a handsome face. In the beau monde, it was rumored that the number of ladies who approached him due to his looks and got sick of his one-track mindedness of creating a larger order than the Imperial Knights. And to fit such rumors, he didn’t even glance at Ella, who was known for her beauty that no man could take their eyes off, as he only glared at his knights.
‘Wow. He’s different,’ thought Ella. His passion was worthy enough to be praised as a knight of her family’s, but Ella felt irritated because he ignored her.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Ella snapped, which made him finally turn towards her. Vylun looked at her as if he had just found out she was there. It was something she hadn’t experienced since she came here.
“I’m taking my knights back, milady. Is there a problem?”
His voice was truly cold as if he was speaking in such a way only because he knew Ella was the daughter of the Constance family. Ella couldn’t stop to frown at his attitude that was close to uncaring, then annoyed.
‘Where did the guest buff go? Or is he like that even with the buff?’
Ella thought about whether she should grab the back of her neck or Vylun’s neck with such an insincere attitude. She then suppressed her anger and made a smile, “You’re not saying you’ll just leave like that?”
“Didn’t you just order them to leave? That’s why I’m taking them. Do you have a problem with that?”
Ella’s smile cracked.
