Thick dark clouds formed above the sky of Rose estate. From time to time rumblings of thunder would resound causing people to gulp with fear. The scene above the estate formed an image of tribulation descending from heaven. As if the whole Rose estate is about to face their judgment day.
Fortunately, the thick dark clouds dispersed after a few minutes causing the people to sigh in relief.
Although it ultimately disappeared many people especially Maxwell, Dillon, and the elders of the Rose family were puzzled by such a terrifying phenomenon and fear still lingered in their hearts. They immediately call a meeting to discuss the terrifying phenomenon earlier.
Inside his house, Azrael smirked after sensing the thick dark clouds dispersing.
"So it is still not enough for you to send a tribulation, huh," he muttered with profound meaning.
"The scene above would catch the attention of others."
He then stood up and walked towards the bathroom.

In the main house, a meeting between the higher-ups of the Rose family is currently ongoing.
"What had just happened earlier?" asked an elderly man, he touched his chin and furrowed his brows with contemplation.
"Is it possibly related to the incident yesterday?"
"Incident? You are saying that what happened to Lian yesterday in the forest and today's phenomenon are closely related?" Maxwell raised his brows with doubt.
The elder paused for a moment before opening this mouth again.
"Maybe it was some sort of warning to us."
"Saying something like that is like saying the one responsible for the incident encountered by Lian and the others is powerful enough to create such a phenomenon." Elmy softly spoke.
Her statement made the hall silent, some sweated and gulped after thinking of such possibilities.
"Y-you mean?" an elder asked.
"She means that a powerful cultivator is targeting Lian." an authoritative voice spoke, it was Dillon.
All looked at him, "A-ancestor—"
"Don't call me ancestor when you are older than me." Dillon interrupted him.
"**cough**" the elder cough, "Does it mean the mastermind is a Qi Liquification stage cultivator?"
"No." Dillon shook his head, he then wore a serious face, "A Qi Liquification stage cultivator won't be able to produce such a phenomenon. I am a 6th Qi Liquifucation stage cultivator and I can't produce such things. The one targeting Lian is at least a Qi Core stage cultivator."
The people inside sucked a cold breath. Maxwell and Reona's faces paled worrying about their daughter's safety.
Surprisingly Elmy remained calm after hearing her father's thought.
"Qi Core stage cultivator, anyone with that kind of cultivation could establish his sect. Why is anyone with that kind of strength targeting my daughter?" Maxwell questioned. Until now they didn't know the motives of the person behind the incident yesterday.
"Let's pray that this phenomenon and the one targeting Lian are not connected. We need to be on high alert at all times." he then looked at Maxwell, " Maxwell, don't trust anyone that easily, especially a stranger that came out of nowhere." he said, hinting about something.
Maxwell couldn't help but smile bitterly.
Unknown to them, that phenomenon is not even a little bit related to Lian, instead, it was caused by Azrael's breakthrough.

Azrael has just finished bathing and he is planning to have a stroll outside.
When he entered the living room he saw Lian sitting on one of the couches.

Lian sensed his presence and turned her head towards him. She saw him fresh from the bath, his long black hair is wet falling to his back and he wears a bathrobe, slightly revealing his manly yet smooth chest drawing a sexy scene in her eyes causing her to be dazed for a moment. She looked at his sharp black yet charming eyes. His lips curve with a confident smile while he emits an otherworldly aura and for some reason, she couldn't retract her eyes from him.
Her heart was pounding at an abnormal rate and her face flushed making her look like a drunk with alcohol.
"Am I that attractive?"
This simple and teasing sentence woke her up. Her face felt even hotter for some reason and she quickly averted her eyes.
"Un." she nodded and after realizing what she had done, she quickly denied with a high-pitched voice, "N-no that's not what it is!"
Azrael chuckled.
Lian calmed her mind and pounding heart for a good moment.
She then took a deep breath.
"I'm here because there's a commotion earlier and I want to check if you are alright."
"Ohh, how considerate."
"I have to." she simply said.
"Is that all?"
"Actually, I also want to tour you around the city and treat you as a form of my thanks," she said with a kitten-like voice.
"Sure." Azrael agreed.
"Then I'll be waiting for you from the outside." She stood up straight and walked out of the house.
Azrael shook his head with an amused smile on his face.
Lian waited for him from outside of the house. The sexy image of Azrael keeps on flashing in her mind. She shook her head while her palms touched her hot face.
"Calm down, calm down" she muttered to herself trying to calm down her wild mind.
While she was trying to calm her mind, the door opened, and a fine and handsome man walked out.
"I'm ready,"
"I-I see. Then let's go." finally Lian was able to throw all those images behind her mind.
The both of them treaded towards the main estate. Lian said she needs to notify his parents before going out. Whenever they went, the onlookers couldn't help but look at them.
As they walked a group of youths treaded towards them. In the front, an upright-looking youth leads them. He is David, the first cousin of Lian.
They stopped in front of Lian and Azrael. They looked at Azrael, their eyes glowed with gratitude. Then, they bowed 90 degrees showing their sincerity towards Azrael.
"Thank you for saving us the other day!" David shouted.
"Thank you!" The other youths followed him.
The onlookers looked at the awe-inspiring scene in front of them. The onlooker youths also followed suit, "Thank you for saving our brothers and sisters!"
Azrael didn't speak, he only smiled and waved his hand indicating they could stop bowing.
He then looked at Lian and said, "Let's go."
Lian followed him, her mouth curved with a smile and a hint of pride. She is proud of youths from the family because they know how to recognize gratitude.
