Chapter 40: Violet

Let's go back  in time a little bit.

A spacious garden with different kinds of rare flowers. A forbidden land of a certain Island. No one is allowed to enter this garden except for a few people.

Each of the flowers there were considered as treasures not only in the Mortal Realm but also in the Divine Realm. Only those with enough influence and power in the entirety of this cosmology can afford to view this scenery. 

In the center, a refined and fairy-like woman was standing and enjoying the view in front of her. In front of her were distinct flowers. Out of those beautiful and otherworldly flowers in her surroundings, these specific flowers were the only thing that caught her attention. Her comforting eyes never left and as if the flowers in front of her are the only thing that exists inside the garden.

One would expect that these flowers are the most expensive and rare flower in the world. However, these flowers were nothing but ordinary, even if you placed them in the mortal realm, they wouldn't even think of them as special. Even a mortal without cultivation can afford to buy and plant them.

"Still love Violet flower, huh."

A voice drifted from the air traveling to her ears.

"Of course, this  type of flower is the first thing I received from him." She replied without removing her gaze from the Violet flowers.

"Well, I guess, I kinda get you."

"To think that you would come here, not to mention bringing your niece ahead of the schedule. Not only that, you also brought some company. Not that it matters." she said.

"Well, it was requested by a certain someone. Someone I couldn't refuse no matter what."

Hearing this, her pupils constricted, and her heartbeat changed and became a little bit faster. Her fixed eyes suddenly shifted towards the newly arrived group.

She then looked at the 'niece' of the person she was having a conversation with. Her eyes focused as her heartbeat raced.

"Heavenly Yin Art." she muttered, "But how? Bianca." She shifted her eyes to Bianca.

"I didn't give that to her, plus I don't even know the full version of it. You must have guessed it already." Bianca said as she smiled.

"I-I must go to him!" Her earlier calm demeanor was nowhere to be seen. Who could blame her, the man of her love was finally here. She waited for this moment, although millions of years in her eyes were nothing, it was a different story if she was separated from her man while not aware of his situation.

"W-wait, Adele. He has a message for you."

"Message?"

"Yes, a message. He said wait for him, he will definitely come and visit you."

"I see." Hearing this she calmed abit but her face flushed, her excitement and longing was apparent.

In a certain restaurant.

"Did you hear about it?"

"Yeah, a few days ago, the Yang Blazing Sect declared war against the Three Mountain Peaks Sect. This is also the reason why the disciples of the Three Mountain Peaks Sect are on high alert."

"Yeah apparently, the Vice Sect Master of the Yang Blazing Sect was killed by someone from the Three Mountain Peaks."

"Ssssh, someone from the Three Mountains Peak Sect, we better stop talking about it lest we anger them. No one is happy of being accused after all, not to mention this city is under them."

As a group of three wearing the same uniform with a logo of three mountains in the left chest entered the restaurant, the people ceased talking about the war.

They then sat on one of the available tables.

Immediately, a middle-aged man walked towards them and took their orders.

"Sigh, to think war is about to happen."

"What? Are you scared?"

"Bah! Who is scared." denied by the thin looking man.

"Of course you."

"Let me borrow your face, so I can smack it hard."

"Try it then."

"Stop it." Said the young man who was with them. He has sharp eyes and swordlike eyebrows. His gesture was refined and full of elegance.

"You are making a scene. It is – "  His sentence was cut off when his eyes shifted to the direction of the door.

Not only him but all of the men and women  inside the restaurant stopped what they were doing.

What they saw was a beautiful lady and a handsome young man entering the restaurant shoulder to shoulder. The beauty of the lady matched the heroic aura of the young man, as if they were made for each other.

Azrael and Bianca entered the restaurant and ignored all the eyes on them . They passed the three disciples from the Three Mountain Peaks Sect and sat on one of the tables.

The refined looking disciple of the Three Mountain Peaks couldn't help secretly. He then whispered something on the thin looking disciple near him.

"Are you sure?" he asked as if he was having hesitation.

"Yeah, don't worry I will mention you to my master." he said.

"O-Okay."

"Husband, what do you like to eat? It has been a while since we have had this kind of time, right?" Bianca asked.

"Yeah, so let's enjoy it to the fullest."

The two were about to choose what to eat when a thin looking man wearing a uniform with three mountains logo in the left chest stopped in front of them.

"Hello there beautiful lady." He greeted Bianca with a smile but was ignored.

On the other hand, the people inside the restaurant looked at the seemingly interesting scene.

"Hello there beautiful lady." he said again. But ignored.

At this point his face flushed as he went back to their table.

The refined looking disciple has no choice but to stand up.

"I apologize for my fellow disciple's rudeness." he apologized with a fake gentle smile on his face, however same with his fellow disciple, he was ignored.

"I ap–"

"Can't you see, I am currently having a date with my husband, can't you just stop bugging us?" Bianca cut him off.

"H-husband, I-I see, I am sorry." he apologized for the last time as red color dominated his face. He rushed towards his fellow disciples, "Let's go!" he said as he left a good sum of payment. The three of them exited the restaurant with their faces full of shame.
