Shen Yi had requested Fu Chenghuai’s family doctor to come over this morning, saying that his wife was sick and needed to be attended to.
Fu Chenghuai thought that Lu Wanwan’s illness was most definitely serious, otherwise Shen Yi would not have called him at three o’clock in the morning to tell him to bring a doctor over to his house. Moreover, after that, he saw that Shen Yi’s complexion didn’t look good at all, he was frighteningly pale.
Lu Wanwan nodded blankly: “It’s a minor fever, nothing too serious.”
Looking at what she was wearing, Fu Chenghuai smiled and shook his head, before meaningfully dropping a sentence: “I wish you good luck.”
This entertainment company belonged to Li Xing, in their group of friends, they all had shares of it. The original goal was nothing more than to play a bit, but who knew that the company would grow bigger and bigger, and that the programs it produced would all, one after the other, be so popular.
Today Li Xing and Shen Yi both came over and were to award a prize.
Shen Yi originally wasn’t going to come, but later he kept being pestered by Li Xing’s several phone calls, which was the reason why he then reluctantly agreed to show up.
Fu Chenghuai felt that with Lu Wanwan’s bad luck, she was bound to run into into Shen Yi later.

The backstage was in turmoil, Zhao Zhao pulled Lu Wanwan’s hand as they walked through the special access, which allowed them to access the front row and sit down. All around, they were surrounded by professional fan-girls, who were used to stand and all carried big speakers.
Just now Fu Chenghuai told Lu Wanwan, with a good heart, that he could arrange a better seat for her.
Zhao Zhao was very tempted when she heard him, she was about to immediately agree, but Lu Wanwan stopped her in time and refused flatly.
This debut conference, for Lu Wanwan who had never been much of a star fan, wasn’t very appealing. There were too many handsome boys on stage to take a proper look at.
The young boy’s figures and faces as expected looked very beautiful.
They were many people on site and sitting for a long time felt a bit stuffy.
Lu Wanwan’s face turned slightly hot because of the smoke, her chest felt stuffy and she was short of breath. As the noise coming from the microphone resounded, it was piercing her ears.
Later on, it seemed like there was a heavy gaze staring at her.
Lu Wanwan raised her eyes to look around, her eyes stopped and looked directly to the right side of the stage, on the row of guests, where Li Xing and Shen Yi were sitting shoulder next to shoulder.
Li Xing also seemed to have seen her, he gave a bright smile and waved at her, as a form of greeting.
Lu Wanwan didn’t dare even once to look at Shen Yi’s expression. This morning, Shen Yi had specially told her not to go out, to stay at home to recuperate from her illness and she did agree at the time, but then she ran out in no time after that, and was even caught red-handed by him.
Today, Shen Yi was wearing a black suit, his face was very well-kept, his expression was harsh as his dark pupils were gazing at her. After his gaze was done scanning all around her surrounding, his lips curled up, little by little, into a cold smile.
Li Xing poked him with his arm, as if he was watching the show, he asked deliberately, “Didn’t you say that Lu Wanwan was sick?”
Shen Yi swept a quick glance at him, “She does, she is sick.”
She had a high fever all night long.
Li Xing rubbed his chin and laughed as he said, “Her complexion is rosy, her smile looks genuine, no matter how I look at her, she doesn’t look like a patient with high fever. Besides, brother Yi, if sister-in-law is really sick, you would do better to let her rest well at home, that wouldn’t be good if she suddenly fainted.”
Shen Yi’s cold and exquisite face had no expression at all. Moving his eyes away from him, he said in a deep voice: “You shut up.”
Li Xing had seen enough of the show and didn’t keep on pulling the tiger’s whiskers, so he obediently shut his mouth and didn’t say anything more.
After spotting Shen Yi, Lu Wanwan was no longer in the mood to pay attention to the boys on stage. During the whole event, she was unfocused and on edge.
When the event was finally over wait, Zhao Zhao was still very excited and even wanted to rush to the backstage to take a group picture. Lu Wanwan had to talk her for quite some time before she was able to persuade her to give up.
After leaving the site, they realized that it had started to rain outside.
The incessant rain reduced the two people’s mood by a lot.
Zhao Zhao, whose face had turned red because of the air conditioning inside, pulled Lu Wanwan’s arm, her eyes brightly looking at her as she asked, “Let’s go eat hot pot, then I’ll send you home.”
Lu Wanwan had not yet replied that the elegant man was already standing in front of her. His eyes looked as deep as a cold lake and his smile didn’t look like a smile. His throat knot rolled: “Didn’t you say you were going to rest at home?”
The rain hitting her face along with the wind felt a bit chilly, the thin clothes she was wearing weren’t able to protect her from the cold.
Lu Wanwan lifted her chin and silently looked at the man in front of her.
