Princess Alice Louise Ove Nafal, the daughter of the Duke of Goddodin, the highest rank witch in the heavens regrets it now.

As Roy said, she was using her housekeeper to test the new king. She thought she concealed herself skillfully, anyways Campiones are not good at perception. 

She hid her body with spiritual spell near her housekeeper so that she could closely observe the character and behavior of the new king, instead of analysing on cold written information.

'The Art of Leaping through the Astral Plane' is an witch spell of ancient era that has been lost in the wheel of time.

This spell allows witches to use the Boundary of Life and Immortality as a portal to 'teleport' to any place on the earth as long as they have the coordinates. 

'The Art of Leaping through the Astral Plane' was developed by imitating the ability of 'Spirit Body'. And, Princess Alice as a Hime-Miko can use her Spiritual Body to travel to any place without even having the coordinates. 

The Boundary of Life and Immortality acts as the connection device between her real body and spiritual body. 

She can rely on the spiritual body to interact with the material world while her real body is hiding somewhere safely. Even if the spiritual body gets destroyed, it's just some spiritual energy that has been lost. 

Spiritual energy is not much different from magical energy, it's just that spiritual energy has a affinity with soul and can only be used by Hime-Miko. 

"To greet the king with a spiritual body, Princess Alice is a bit too much!"

This time even the elegant Erica had anger in her eyes. Facing the arrival of the 'king', Princess Alice didn't personally came to greet her. 

Instead, she created a spiritual body to conceal herself to do a secret observation from the side, which is tantamount to not giving Roy face, trampling on the majesty of the 'king'.

The walls of the inner palace is coated with royal silver. The gigantic pillars are made from Alchemical Silver Steel which has higher density than iron. 

Even the furnitures are made of silver wood. The roof is made of a prism shaped, opaque crystalline glass. 

When sun rays fall onto the roof, the rays turn into bright noble golden-purple dusk color, which dyes the inner palace with the combination of silver and dusk, this the reason behind the name of Silver Dusk Palace. 

In the main building of the Silver Dusk Palace, apart from Princess Alice and her butler, the rest who reside here are all maids. These maids are ordinary people with no magical energy. 

After seeing the strict housekeeper who use to manage them turn into a salt pillar, they were all shaking in fright, no one dared to stop Roy's entourage aand only watched them ascend the stairs to Princess Alice's bedroom.

The solid wooden door made of silver wood was pushed open by Erica and Liliana. The top floor was absolutely restricted for anyone to enter except the housekeeper and a handful of personal maids. 

Now there are one man and two women who walked into the princess's private boudoir.

Contrary to the luxury of the whole palace, the decoration of Princess Alice's boudoir was simple and elegant. 

The most striking thing was the bed in the middle of room, surrounded with with gauze curtains. A graceful, looming figure can be seen behind the gauze curtains. 

She was silently lying on the bed like the sleeping beauty who was cursed to sleep by an evil fairy, waiting to be awakened by her handsome prince. 

"King Roy, please forgive Alice for not being able to get out of the bed to welcome you. The reason why I came to see you in form of a spiritual body was not to disrespect you."

"I wanted to personally welcome King Roy, but it's my body doesn't allow me to, but to directly barge into a lady's boudoir was not a gentleman's behavior on your part, King."

A soft and pleasant voice came from behind the gauze curtain, but compared to the voice of Princess Alice heard at the gate before, this voice was frail and much lesser livelier. 

Her tone was graceful, but there was a trace of indignation in that grace, anger at the unsolicited villain like behavior of Roy. 

Roy did not speak, he just motioned to Erica and Liliana with his eyes. 

Erica quickly stepped forward and lifted the curtains of the princess's bed, while Liliana brought a chair from the corner of the room and placed it at the bedside for Roy to sit down.

Lying on that bed was a weak young girl. Just like what they saw downstairs, Princess Alice in front of them still had a stunning face, and the delicate body looming under the quilt rose to form a beautiful arc. 

But, unlike the Princess Alice's spiritual body they saw before, her real body was thinner and much frail, her eyes less agile but still bright like a shining star, her face was pale and bloodless like a vampire, clearly happened due to less contact with direct sun.

"Then you are satisfied to see me like this, King Roy. As you can see, my physical condition is very poor, even to the point where it is difficult for me to get out of bed. I even need help to do simple actions."

Princess Alice's pale little hands pushed her quilt; she used her hands to push herself up as her breathing became a little strenuous, as if even such a simple action felt arduous for her. 

Only then did Erica and Liliana came to know that Princess Alice, who is well known throughout the whole magic world, turned out to be in such a miserable position. 

Erica quickly stepped forward to aid Princess Alice get up as he held her hands, and put a soft cushion on her back. Princess leaned her back on the cushion and said while gasping for breath. 

"T-thank you."

Princess Alice thanked Erica, her tone was elegant and moving, even more noble than Erica, the eldest lady of noble Brandelli family. 

She was wearing a women's pyjamas full of ruffles, only a section of her wrist was slightly exposed. Her messy platinum blonde hair cascading her shoulders. 

"You will not live long, Princess Alice. You are only twenty two years old, and the functions of your body are barely supporting you, as long as another ten years pass, your life will wither. Haaash... The flowers fade when they are most vivid."

Roy glanced at Princess Alice's body and said with certainty with a tinge of regret in his voice. 

"Well, probably this is the so-called fate of mine... That's why I choose the title of 'White Hime-Miko'."

"I already knew when I was young that i will not live long, I didn't wished for that colourful life, I hoped that my short life will be serene, pure and peaceful, that the colour white signifies."
