“I got a phobia towards the dead,” the cat lady also rejects with a sweet grin.
“I’m afraid,” Dawn was even more direct.
The three of them kept looking back and forth between themselves and left the atmosphere in an awkward eeriness.
“Let’s rock-paper-scissor then.” In the end, Dawn stood up and suggested so no one gets the shorter end of the deal.
“No takebacks,” Shadow agrees and supports him.
“Two out of three wins,” Boink was not far behind and accepted the deal.
However, the silly behavior between the three did not last long – only to the point of Dawn rolling up his sleeves to showcase why he’s called the little prince of the playground boys.
“Get down!” Shadow yells and actively grabs hold of his head and throws him to the ground, thus narrowly escaping the three red spears that grazed their hair.
Dawn fell into a cold sweat after witnessing the holes in the wall. If they had landed on their bodies, that would be the end of their life.

“It’s you bastards again! I only left for a meal and you’re back!” A pleasant female voice came from a close distance.
Out of reflex, the guy turned around to the main entranceway where a blonde foreign girl dressed in a white hospital gown. She’s locked in combat with Shadow already.
She’s not a human, nor a monster hunter. Is she the source of this undead crisis?
Cut and dry, there was no unnecessary nonsense in this blonde’s battle style. She kept a red barrier up made of corrosive mist to act as her defensive spell while constantly shooting red spears from her hands as the offense, thus allowing her to force the cat lady back repeatedly when Shadow got too close.
Meanwhile on the party’s end, things weren’t looking so up and up. Shadow hadn’t fully recovered from the ghost incident so her ability to shoot the black blades were limited. As for Boink the hamsterling, he’s only good in phantom illusions so this cramped space wasn’t ideal and thus making him useless. That leaves Dawn, the only human in their party. He became the back cheerleader like you see in those sports stadiums due to his inability to intervene.
But then the strangest thing began to happen. Perhaps its Dawn’s own illusion, but the guy’s sight was gradually able to follow along with the two ladies as the battle dragged on. This continued until he finally caught a noticeable pattern in the blonde’s right arm, which was firing out smaller red spears than her left, and that was the breakthrough they needed.
“Shadow, attack her right arm!” Dawn mentioned the point.
“Despicable!” The blonde became outraged at the suggestion.
Dawn shot a cheeky grin in return and didn’t feel ashamed in the slightest. In his view, not ganging up on the lady was already an act of chivalry on their end, so what’s there to complain?
Anyways, the prompt and timely suggestion got Shadow thinking as she eyed that right arm with her black blades. And sure enough, the focused fire gradually stretched the opponent’s ability so thin that a punch finally landed on the blonde and shattered that red barrier.
Unfortunately, right as the situation was looking up and up for the party of three, a loud “bang” suddenly came from the cabinets. Next thing everyone knew was a body bag flying out of the blown compartment and a bloodied hand slowly stretching out of the zippers.
