Chapter 59: Changes in Senba Academy

Fifteen minutes later.

As Theresa has said earlier, the flying ship Helios's speed is very fast, it didn't take long for them to arrive at their destination.

Helios slowly landed at the outskirts of Nagazora City, after Helios successfully landed, Kouro unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the flying ship to survey the surroundings.

After a few more minutes, Theresa also got out of Helios.

"I thought we would land Helios directly inside Nagazora City, why did we land outside the suburbs instead?"

Hearing Kouro's question, Theresa replied calmly. 

"The Science Department sent us a virtual map that points us to the source of the Honkai Energy fluctuations in Nagazora City a few minutes ago. According to the map, the concentration of Honkai Energy here is the lowest, which means there are few Honkai Beasts and Zombies that would appear here."

Theresa continued after a brief pause, "Besides, in a place as quiet as here, we can maximize the optical camouflage system of Helios. After all, if the flying ship Helios lands directly inside Nagazora City, it might attract the target's attention and we would face endless enemies."

"As expected of Principal Theresa, you've thought things through." Kouro praised Theresa after hearing her explanation.

Facing Kouro's praise, Theresa raised her head with her hands on her hips. 

Theresa has her head raised with her hands on her hip hearing Kouro's genuine praise. 

"That's to be expected. By the way, your injuries hasn't healed yet (Theresa didn't know that Kouro is fully healed), so for now, just follow closely to me, I'll show you the incredible power of the [Oath of Judah] and let you know that I am not such and easy person to mess with."

'Sorry, but if need be, I'll do it again.'

Kouro groaned silently in his heart, but at the same time, he is also very happy, after all, with Theresa here, the chances of being able to complete the Main Quest increased greatly.

The cross also has the ability to fire the spears inside that always targets the Honkai Beasts in a radius of 200 meters.

The problem is, Theresa likes to fight in close quarters and uses it that manner, she doesn't use the spears or chains in [Oath of Judah] neither, instead, she uses the giant cross like a blunt weapon.

She threw the cross at an approaching Zombie like a heavy boulder, Kouro saw how the Zombie turn to dust instantly after the impact, which made feel quite sorry for the Zombie.

Theresa used all of her strength and didn't hold back her power while wielding [Oath of Judah] and caused the ground to crack, leaving a small crater on the impact zone, and because if that, the entire path that Theresa walked through is left full of cracks and small craters as if it had been hit by a rocket launcher.

There's no doubt that Theresa's physical strength can't be underestimated, add to that her being a ruthless person. 

Theresa warned him earlier, after they landed the flying ship Helios in the suburbs of Nagazora, to avoid attracting the attention of Zombies or Honkai Beasts, but looking at her throwing her giant cross everywhere screamed "I am here!".

Watching the Zombies keep coming and get pulverized without a fight under the [Oath of Judah] that Theresa is holding, Kouro felt a relaxed.

"So, where is this Pseudo-Herrscher?"

Pseudo-Herrscher is the code name for the creature that is the source of the high-level Honkai Energy and has abilities similar to a Herrscher's, but is slightly weaker than a real one.

But if they are given time to evolve, the Pseudo-Herrscher has a high probability of turning into a True Herrscher.

Hearing Kouro's question, Theresa glanced at the Honkai Energy concentration chart displayed on her watch that is being updated in real-time.

"...At Senba Academy."

Kouro felt relieved after hearing the location from Theresa.

At least everything is still going the same as the original plot.

But after thinking about it for a moment, Kouro frowned and asked in confusion.

"Supposedly, all the students at Senba Academy should have already been evacuated, the same for all the residents of Nagazora City.

"That's what I was thinking, so I suspect that this Pseudo-Herrscher is likely a Zombie that the remnant Honkai Energy has chosen, and if what I'm suspecting is true, then it should be thoroughly eliminated."

What Theresa mean to say is, if the Pseudo-Herrscher isn't a Zombie that has been completely corrupted by the Honkai Energy and only has destruction in mind, but instead is a normal human, the two of them would find a way to save them.

There are currently Three Herrschers that have appeared in this world.

The 1st Herrscher and the 3rd Herrscher both sides with Humanity, the 2nd Herrscher was also normal, but has caused the most destruction and disaster to the whole world.

The fact that there are still Herrschers willing to fight against Honkai cause Theresa to change her plan to annihilate all Herrrschers that she sees.

She hoped that this Pseudo-Herrscher would also fight on Humanity's side against the Honkai.

Theresa's change if mind was partly due to Kouro playing an important role in the previous events.

"Understood." Kouro nodded.

Because most of the Honkai Beasts in Nagazora City had been exterminated by Kouro, most of their encounters were Zombies that changed from people who were crippled, old, weak, sick, and so on.

According to Theresa's statement, the truly powerful Zombies has various kinds of special abilities, such as extreme movement (Flicker), summoning, blocking (transparent can't be attacked), and more. 

But the Zombies in Nagazora City doesn't have any special abilities and could do basic attacks such as biting, which is really not much of a hindrance to Kouro and Theresa.

Ten minutes later. 

The two quickly arrived at the Senba academy. 

Previously, this academy was full of young and beautiful female students. 

But after the Honkai Eruption occurred, this place quickly became desolate and uninhabited.

Since the Nagazora City officials quickly evacuated all the citizens, the number of Zombies in Senba and Tachikawa Academy was very few, compared to other places, so when Mei and Kiana escaped from here, they didn't encounter too much trouble.

But now, the Senba academy has undergone a tremendous change. 

"How!?"

The scene in front if her rendered Theresa shocked.

Senba Academy has turned into a large forest and the building within are also covered with large and thick vines.

It was hard to believe this scene in front of both of them had only appeared a few hours ago.

It's more like a building that has been forgotten fora hundred years.

Looking at the graph if Honkai Energy concentration, Theresa is finally convinced that everything she saw is likely to be from the power of the Pseudo-Herrscher.

"Be careful, Kouro. This Pseudo-Herrscher's ability is probably relates to plants."

Kouro had taken the large greatsword on his back into his hands and took a cautious stance.

At first, Theresa wanted Kouro to relax. As she had fought with a Herrscher before (2nd Herrscher), there shouldn't be too much risk in facing a Pseudo-Herrscher who hasn't even turned into a True Herrscher.

But considering that a lot of unexpected things happened in the 3rd Eruption, Theresa stopped talking and took a deep breath before stepping inside with Kouro.

Almost at the same time that they entered the grounds of Senba Academy, something happened.
