Chapter 72: Link Start!

In the evening, the day after the exam.

Kouro visited Himeko's house to help Kiana with her studies.

Kouro knocked on the door an announced his presence, "Excuse me." And the waited for a while.

Shortly after, the door was opened by Mei wearing a cute apron, "Kouro-kun? Are you here to help Kiana-chan with her studies? Come on in." she asked before letting him in as usual. 

At first glance, one could see that this is not the first time Kouro has entered Himeko's house.

Kouro walked inside with his back facing Mei, he took off his shoes first before stepping in after Mei who went to the dining room.

There, Kouro saw Ayame and Himeko, both sitting on a chair waiting for dinner.

Ayame and Himeko also noticed Kouro's arrival and proceeded to greet him.

Ayame is currently wearing a light-green pajama shorts, which made her curves more prominent, especially the curve of her protruding buttocks.

Meanwhile, Himeko is as usual, drinking beer while only wearing her black underwear that exudes the aura of a mature woman.

If normal boys were to witness this, they would undoubtedly enjoy the sight, but it's a shame that the one who bear witness to this is Kouro. Even though he also enjoyed the sight, it only lasted for a short while before speaking to Himeko, keeping his cool.

And then he fled swiftly.

Ayame and Mei didn't chase after Kouro, they just kept staring at him for a while until he disappeared upstairs before staring at Himeko.

"Himeko-sensei, you should wear some more proper clothes from now on. It's rude to always stay dressed like that, especially when Kouro would often visit here, he is a boy after all." Mei reprimanded the older red head.

Hearing Mei's words, Himeko only nodded, and she looked at the beer bottle in her hand.

'Boyfriend… Too bad… I don't have time for something fancy like that.'

Meanwhile, Ayame is currently measuring her chest, realizing she is not that big.

'Does Kouro prefer big ones?'

Kouro didn't head straight to Kiana's room just yet and opted to go to Bronya's room first.

Just as he was about to knock on Bronya's bedroom, the door opened and revealed a Bronya, who is wearing a yellow HOMU helmet that has MK-I written on it and is holding a blue HOMU-shaped helmet that has MK-II written on it.

"Subject Kouro" Bronya called out.

"Yeah, it's me. By the way, what is that helmet?" Kouro questioned while eyeing the pair of HOMU helmet.

"This, is a Full Dive Helmet that allows the user to enter the world of HOMU HOMU Virtual Reality, I made this for Subject Idiotka who has been having a hard time learning."

"Heee... That's awesome."

"Please wait a minute, Bronya would get another Helmet for Subject Kouro first."

Bronya put the MK-II Helmet on the floor and went back inside her room.

A few moments later.

Bronya came out of her room again, but now she is holding a red HOMU Helmet with MK-III written on it, she then handed it to Kouro.

Kouro picked up the Helmet and analyzed it with an expression of interest, shortly after, he put it on his head.

Bronya grabbed the MK-II on the floor and walked with Kuro towards Kiana's room, Bronya just went inside without knocking with Kouro following behind her.

Kouro noticed a pile of books surrounding Kiana and there were even books stacked in a small tower.

Kiana is currently 'focusing' on the book she is holding that she didn't notice Kouro and Bronya's arrival.

"I… can't remember any of this… Why do I have to be tested on such a boring subject like History!!?" Kiana grumbled.

Bronya approached Kiana and then attached the MK-II to Kiana's head.

"!? Bronya, what did you put on my head?"

"HOMU-HOMU Virtual Reality Linker."

 

"Don't worry Kiana, you'll get used to it later." Kouro said while sitting against a wall.

"Eh, Kouro too?" Kiana looked at Kouro, or rather at the HOMU-shaped Helmet that was on his head.

Kouro then closed his eyes and said loudly.

"Link Start!"

Bronya pressed the button to enter the VR world that was only on her helmet, knocking Kiana and Kouro unconscious.

Kouro and Kiana then opened their eyes and found themselves no longer I the room and instead is inside of a tower-like building containing countless books.

"Wow..." x2

They were amazed by this sight.

Kouro then examined their clothes, which changed after entering the VR world, he is now in his school uniform the same as Kiana, she was previously wearing a pajama with beige short shorts, but is now also wearing her school uniform.

Then, Bronya, who was dressed as a fairy, flew over and stopped near the two of them from the top of the Book Tower.

"O visitor who have come from another world! This is Schicksal's core database, with the most detailed history records of the Honkai."

After her introduction, Bronya then looked at Kiana.

"Listen to me, confused girl, Kaslana! I am the guidance fairy Bronya. I shall guide you to the truth. Follow Bronya's instructions to defeat the monster of stupidity."

"Guidance fairy…? And there is a monster called stupidity?" Kiana is confused.

Bronya descended on the ground before walking past Kiana and Kouro and speaking.

They are then shown a girl who looks to be about Bronya age, she wears a detailed orange dress with her dark hair styled in an intricate hairstyle with many ornaments adorning it, she also has amber eyes and fought against Honkai alone.

[At this time, a mysterious girl appeared. This girl, named Ji Xuan Yuan was named by descendants as the "Golden Empress". She was the first human in history to have the power to fight the Honkai.]

Kiana looked at the cross and wondered, "This cross here, it looks like the one that is often with Theresa… What is it doing here?"

Kiana then touched the cross.

Suddenly the sound of the system sounded in her mind.

"Kiana?" Bronya and Kouro stared at the golden Cross.

Bronya can detect resistance in the system as soon as Kiana disappears after touching the cross.

Kouro just stood still and thought quietly.

'It has begun. '

Kiana, after hearing the system's sound, suddenly phased through into a wormhole-like tunnel that was headed somewhere.

Kiana became surprised by the sudden change and just thought, 'Did this happen because I touched the cross?'

Right after she finished her thoughts, the wormhole ended and had taken her somewhere else.

Looking at fluffy clouds in front of her, a thought suddenly appeared in her mind, 'Am I flying?'

Right after thinking that Kiana then fell down following the pull of gravity.

"Kya!!"

*TRUMP! *

Kiana who fell then held her head while saying annoyed.

'Why would it suddenly toss me out of the sky?! The again it didn't feel like it hurt…"

'Wait it doesn't hurt? '

Kiana then opened her eyes, looking at a girl who had caught her.

The girl also asked Kiana who she carried in a princess carry.

"Are you fine cute little missy?"
