Chapter 75: ELF

A week had passed after finishing that VR world. 

Everything is back to normal, apart from Kouro being more frequent in Himeko's house just to see Bronya.

 And 5 days ago, Kiana who had been studying hard was finally able to pass the written remedial exam even though it was only with an average score. 

At noon, at Himeko's house, in the living room.

You can see Ayame and Mei talking about Kouro. 

"Nee… Mei-senpai do you think Kouro-kun's behavior, lately has been a bit strange?"

She then went to open the door, revealing Kouro who was carrying a bag filled with muffins.

Mei then let Kouro in, after that Kouro gave the bag containing the muffin to Mei skillfully, and Mei took it with a normal face.

From this we can see that this is not the first time Kouro has given it. 

Mei then looked at Kouro, she could feel that Kouro was in a good mood. "What's wrong Kouro-kun? You look really happy?"

 "Ahahaha… It's because the thing I made will soon be finished." Kouro said while laughing a little. 

After saying that, Kouro then walked in and greeted Ayame, then looked around as if looking for someone.

"By the way, where are Kiana and the others?" 

"Kiana is in Bronya's room and is playing a game with her, while Principal Theresa called Himeko-sensei." 

Mei answered while taking out some muffins from the bag and placing them on the dining table, all the muffins were steaming like they had just been baked.

Ayame glanced at the muffin, she could smell the delicious aroma from it. She then stood up and took one of the muffins and then immediately ate it. 

"Delicious as usual! Kouro-kun, I still really didn't expect you to be able to cook."

After saying that, the sound of hurried footsteps was heard from upstairs and downstairs. "I smell Kouro muffins!" 

Kiana who came down from upstairs said. She rushed into the dining room and grabbed a few muffins and ate them all at once which made her cheeks puff like a squirrel.

 "Mou! Kiana-chan just eat it slowly." Mei said with a helpless smile.

 Kouro looked at Kiana and asked, "By the way Kiana, what about Bronya?" 

"Bronya... She's still upstairs, she said she was waiting for you Kouro." 

After hearing that, Kouro went upstairs to Bronya's room, he knocked first. 

"Come in." 

Kouro then entered and saw Bronya who was looking at him, beside him was a doll that was about 60 cm tall, the doll had white hair wearing a white battlesuit with blue gradation.

 Actually it's not a doll but a robot or android named ELF (Equipment: Living Form), Kouro bought the blueprint from the mall system which spent all of his coins. 

Kouro asks Bronya for help to make this, the goal is to become a vessel for Kallen Kaslana.

 "How's the progress?" Kouro asked Bronya while staring at the ELF. 

"It's done, subject Kouro just need to transfer subject Kallen's data into it." Bronya said with a straight face.

Hearing that, Kouro then took out a USB from his pocket and plugged it into the special plug near the ear. 

A monotonous voice came out of that ELF. 

[Transfer 1%] 

[Transfer 7%] 

[Transfer 20%] 

[Transfer 78%]

 [Transfer 99%]

 [Transfer complete 100%]

After that Kouro unplugged the USB and looked at the ELF enthusiastically. 

The ELF opened his eyes, then blinked and turned his head in confusion, it then looked at Kouro and Bronya, the ELF said slowly.

 "... Kouro-kun... And the little girl?"

 Hearing that Kouro smiled and then said.

 "Welcome back to the world, Kallen-san."

Meanwhile in the principal's office St. Freya academy. 

"What's the matter principal? Is there a mission?" Himeko asked after being called.

Theresa didn't say anything she just gave Himeko a scroll.

 "...What is this? ...and what's with this strange language?" 

"That is the language of the Yellow Emperor, this scroll is an ancient artifact, written by a resident from Shennong village. It records the details of the legend of the Yellow Emperor, in a note, it is said that the Yellow Emperor has been given mystical abilities by the legendary sword named 'Golden Sword'." 

The scroll was shown an image showing in detail, the Yellow Emperor holding up a golden sword with a tattoo of something similar to a stigmata on the back of her hand. 

And if this legend is true, the weapon used by the Yellow Emperor is probably the Divine Key, plus that tattoo is must be the stigmata.

The scroll says that the Yellow Emperor made use of this marking to repel the Honkai horde, it later states that the Yellow Emperor also traveling to Jiuling and fought the Demon lord known as 'Chiyou'. 

But the second half of this scroll has been damaged and we don't know the rest of story. 

"So there's a high chance that the Yellow Emperor's body was buried in a place called Jiuling? What's my mission by the way?" Himeko asked. 

Theresa looked at Himeko seriously then said, "Your mission is to investigate this Honkai beast named Chiyou, and also to investigate the location of the legendary Golden Sword artifact that may be near the Chiyou monster."

 "In any case where is this Jiuling located?"

 "It's been 4000 years since the scroll was made, the only thing were able to determine is that Jiuling near today's Guangzhou. We can only find out more once we're there." Theresa said while passing the data information to Himeko. 

"Understood. What about the team taking part in this mission?" Himeko asked. 

Theresa thought for a moment before saying. "...Take Kiana and the others including Kouro with you."

 "Roger that." Himeko saluted Theresa.

 "Godspeed, Major Himeko."
