Jacaerys and Lucerys both walked to Rhaenys, hugging her in a light manner.
"Grandmother."
She nodded in acknowledgment as she shifted his attention towards me using eye contact. Jacaerys albeit shocked, nodded at me with a hint of admiration.
"Your grace."
I smiled a little. At least Jacaerys seems to have inherited Targaryen's wiseness which is surprising since my elder sister is a bad seed.
"Drop the formalities, Jacaerys. Call me Uncle." Jacaerys bobbed his head quite obediently while his little brother stared at me with mixed emotions from the side.
Daemon and Rhaenyra were surprised, not in a pleasant manner. I eyed carefully. There was a glint of determination in Rhaenyra's eyes and a wry smile on her lips.
"Dear sister... are you not gonna greet me?" The woman in question stared at me blankly. Her face was as stoic as ever. Mannerless skank.
It seems being the heir regent has brushed off in a bad manner. The woman did not break eye contact and spoke in a poised tone.
"Younger brother, I certainly did not expect you here."
I smiled at her. "Surprised? If I were to be truthful... even I am."
She narrowed her eyes, "May I ask... why you are here?" Subconsciously my eyes narrowed as well. "The same reason as you presumably."
Daemon by the side broke the tension in a swift manner. He glanced at Laena by the side admiring her visage and bode before observing Rhaenys and then finally me.
"Nephew... nephew... you did not ask me how I am to do?" I simply rose an eyebrow at his antics.
He walked towards the side, picking up a glass bottle with a ship inside, admiring its intricacies, and then lifted his head to examine the beautiful ceiling above before looking back at me.... expecting an answer.
"Uncle. Prince Daemon Targaryen. How are you doing?"
He smiled somewhat coyly, holding Rhaenyra by the waist.
"I am doing rather fine. Why, thank you?"
His reply could not help but make my cheeks twitch and my lips to form a warm smile.
"That is very good to hear uncle..... anyways now... KNEEL."
His eyes widened, the same went for Rhaenyra. For sure they did not expect me to be this straightforward.
However, that's how I am. Bullshit bores me, a dragon does not slither like serpents on the ground and if one objects to soverineity then he spews fire.
I glanced at them all. The newcomers. "All of you."
Rhaenyra remained silent. She looked at me with wide eyes, her body trembling slightly while Daemon's gaze betrayed no change.
However, my aura of domination and the sheer fact that my status was superior, made them swallow all the embarrassment and other negative feelings, forcing them to bow.
Daemon nodded towards Jacaerys and Lucerys as the three knelt the same.

A small smile grew upon my visage. Daemon had knelt multiple times before however, my beautiful treasured precious elder sister would be doing this for the first time in her life.
"Better if you get used to this. It will come in handy."
Rhaenyra stared at the ground with bitter resentment. I could feel from the emotions and vibrations she was emitting that, her negativity was increasing.
She had finally found the reason for all her hate toward me. Obviously not the passing of our mother but the simple desire to sit on the Iron Throne and rule the Seven Kingdoms.
Princess Rhaenyra was a child who was spoiled rotten and received whatever she desired without a single care in the world.
However what she desired most would never and so she spun a web of lies, to convince herself that what she desired to do was for her children's good.
Although I won't lie, the love for her children up to now does seem genuine. The same goes for Good mother.
Both of them are playing a game between themselves and leading the king- no 'MY' kingdom as scapegoats.
"Rise. Nephews, sister... Uncle. Let us hear the reason for your unannounced arrival here, should we?
Rhaenyra and the others quickly stood up while I watched her carefully. Her expression stoic as a noble Targaryen should be. At least her lessons were not in vain.
"You may tell me."
With a nod, she glanced at Daemon as if asking for confirmation and then looked at the Velaryons and finally prodded Jace.
"Well..."
Jace stepped forward. He looked at me before averting his eyes. Then he glanced at Laena.
"We have arrived at Driftmark for your hand in marriage. Specifically you and me, aunt. In these dire times, we Velaryons should stick together. For the better of our bloodline and the immediate doom that could wander over us. Father has already passed away and grandfather is getting older while at war. We need to act soon and show a united front."
My eyebrows twitched. "That's interesting. So that was why you came." I glanced at Daemon and Rhaenyra.
"The two of you are the bravest of the family."
Daemon raised an eyebrow and smiled. "You flatter us, your grace. However it is my truest wish as well to see my dear stepson married and if it were to be one of the family, it would be a need for a feast."
"Hmmm... Is that so?" I smirked. "A feast... you do not have to worry about that, uncle."
I glanced at Laena from the side and smiled.
"-And Lady Laena...? We are all awaiting your answer."
Laena nodded after what seemed hours of concentration. Her mother obviously seemed nervous despite her skills to hide it.
She turned her head towards me. She glanced at Rhaenyra and Daemon and then stared at Jacaerys.
I watched her, waiting for her to speak. Her mouth opened lightly before closing again. She glanced at me and then smiled before looking at the others, opening her mouth to speak.
