She turned the knob and hesitated, placed her other hand in her coat and bulges her eyes slightly. "That I am not feeling well..?"

No sooner had Lifen left did Gu Bojing call Xiao Ai.

The guilty Xiao slowy picked the call and said Hello in a voice that made Gu Bojing know that something was off.

"You aren't home. Out with friends to celebrate? Can I join you?"

"That hubby...wife forgot to tell you that she is on night shift. I still have six days to go."

There was a deafening silence on the other side and it made Xiao Ai very nervous.

Was he that mad? Had she taken it with too much levity.

"Are you there?"

After a while, he responded. "I am not amazed by your frivolity but disappointed by your awareness. Your awareness to our relationship. The type of relationship that we have now, Mrs Gu is marriage. I think I should be informed about matters like the earliest. Dont you think?"

Although his tone was nonchalant and he didnt show any signs of being mad at her she could feel that he wasnt quite happy.

Isn't this the second time today she had made him upset.

On the other side, though the pen had snapped into two, the man maintained a normal tone. "Its fine I understand your work schedule. You did not forget about tomorrow right?"

At the mention of that, Xiao Ai felt elated thinking about the evil plans off her sleeve. "Of course not. Everything is in order."
