Chapter 152: Fighting With Someone You Like Hurts....

That day at the bar, she saw him first which was how she knew that he was staring at her. She wasn't stupid to the point of her marrying a complete stranger.

She had first noticed him when he gently walked in and sat at a corner. Her first impression of him was handsome. He was just too good looking. It was as though she hadn't seen handsome men before. But she had her fair share of them in Russia but somehow he seemed different.

It wasn't just about his beauty but the way he tried to avoid looking everywhere but her. She could see that even when he pretended to focus else where, his peripheral vision was focused on her. How could she not something that subtly when she had had to watch peoples expressions her whole life.

She ordered another drink and gulped it. She was contemplating going over to meet him when he walked over to the bar and asked for a drink. It was her perfect opportunity.

Truthfully, all she intended was to sleep with him for the night. Forget the craziness of the world and have a fun filled crazy night. But he wasn't interested in before marriage sex and she didnt know what pushed her to ask him for marriage.

She turned on the bed unable to stop her tears from silently dropping. Did he really think she was so naive to not know that he cared for her that much?

Moments passed and turned to minutes yet she couldn't find sleep. She wasnt one to weep but after marrying him she found her emotions had turned very fragile especially when it involved him.

She decided to look through her new case. She sat up in bed her head resting on the head board and looked through the new information. Absent minded, she thought of Lifen. Now that Jenny wasn't in the way, what was she and Yusheng up to?

The bastards were probably having sex. And it made her blood boil. She was here with mixed up emotions and they were having fun?

"We are playing PS, want to join?"

She looked around the room not sure if they had the game and she hadnt packed hers along when she left the apartment. "I will check first."

"Okay.."

"But...Lifen shouldn't we be going through the case we have?"

Lifen sighed and slumped beside Yusheng. "We can always do that tomorrow. We can have fun cant we? Besides we just finished working."

Xiao Ai forced her conscience to agree and went down to check if they had the game.

When she couldn't find it in the sitting room she decided to ask her hubby but remembered they weren't on talking terms or to be exact she wasnt on talking terms with him.

It hurts. Fighting with someone you like hurts. Hurts like crazy.
