Chapter 173: Is It Time To Send Them Away...?

When he got to the top floor, it suddenly occurred to him after seeing the name plate that Xiao Ais shameless best friend whom she had a fight with few hours ago was the only daughter of the vice president. He shook his head, he would probably get an earful from the Vice President on how to train his employee.

Could Mo Ai not spare him a day without worries.

"Afternoon, Professor Long." He tilted his head downwards a bit and the older man smiled, gestured for him to take a seat.

The secretary soon came in with two cups of tea.

"Thank you." Professor Ku muttered and she bowed with a polite smile.

The vice Presidnt took his seat and took his time smelling his tea.

"It smells nice doesn't it?" He asked with a faint smile.

Professor Ku nodded and took a sip of the tea with a smile.

It tasted awful but smells nice.

The Vice President smiled and spoke softly. "I wouldnt advice you drink that. My daughter, Lifen brings me tea. But they only smell nice but dont taste that well. I am getting old, it would have been nice if she was a neurosurgeon too but that little troublesome one..." he shook his head and sighed.

His tired face carried worries he had been hiding away.

Professor Ku could understand how the man felt. His daughter was just like Xiao Ai. Maybe better. And he knew how troublesome and frustrating Xiao Ai was. He had sons but only one of them was a neurosurgeon and he didnt work in the hospital but insisted in working at the millitary.

"Psychiatrist Long is way better than Psychologist Mo in aspects of trouble making and we know that."

The man chuckled and smelled his tea again. "That's true. Those two..." he looked out through the window. "Do you know why I called you here?" He questioned sitting up and crossing his legs.

Profesosr Ku sat up and wore a apologetic expression. "I understand that Psychologist Mo might have gone a bit overboard this time but I believe we should let them solve their differences. They are best friends and they can fight sometimes too. Although I will be sure to scold them both."

The Vice President shifted closer with a serious look on his face. "I dont care how they beat each other up. But Professor Ku, you forget things easily."

Professor Ku seemed lost for a while before catching up. He had almost forgotten about that issue.

"Is it time to send them away...?"

Professor stood in the private elevator alone, slumped towards the metallic wall. He rubbed his neck and placed his hands on his temples.

The new Cook was a man in his mid thirties. He had a warm smile and Xiao Ai felt quite comfortable around him.

She was really missing Bolins Cooking. That idiot really cooked good food and she knew it. Slowly she was starting to regret bullying him but she quickly pushed it to the back of her mind. A shameless person feels no guilt whatsoever. She would find someone better than Bolin at cooking and hopefully this mans food would be tastier than Bolins. That way she would have no cause to miss her stupid brother in law.

Xiao Ai decided to go through her phone and look though the rough sketches she made for their new plan. She sent some to Lofen and the idiot left her on seen.

She grabbed an apple and slumped into the chair. "Is the idiot mad I beat her up?" She mumbled and bit into the apple. "Serves her right."

It made her remember what Lifen had said during the day. Did that mean...Lifen was also having the dreams.

From the look of things, her husband might also be having the dreams. Should she ask him?

No. Bojing wouldn't tell her even if she wanted to know. He was usedd to keeping things to himself in the name of whatever fears he had in his little mind. Since she didnt want to stress herself by thinking too much, she decided to text Jenny.
