Gu Bojing tipped his hand slowly under her pillow and Xiao Ai froze. He brought out her phone and placed it on the night stand beside her. He then kissed her forehead and spoke. "Relax Mrs Gu. Good night."

Xiao Ai went soft and comfortably let herself be drifted to sleep.

Around two...the man climbed out of bed again and went to his study. He picked a cigarette and lit it. He didnt usually smoke because in the past Xiao Ai didnt like him smoking although she did. He puffed the air out and took a deep breath. After smoking three sticks, he picked his phone and made a call to Little fool.

In Russia, Little Fool was packing some children stuff into a bag when he saw his call.

He put out the cigarette in his mouth and cleared his voice. "Are you calling to send me money?"

Gu Bojing smirked and inhaled the smoky air. "How much do I need to give for you to stay out?"

Little Fool found it fascinating and sat comfortably. "No amount will make me stay out." when he didnt reply, he continued. "Are you seeing the dreams?"

Gu Bojing sat upright and put his cigarette out. "I dont know what you are talking about."

Little Fool chukled. "Dont play dumb with me. Remember that year when we went for fortune telling?"

Gu Bojing snapped his pen, and responded. "How could I? My Ai made a big deal out of it including you."

"Agreed. Can big brother give you some brotherly advice?" he teased knowing it would annoy him.

Gu Bojing reacted the opposite to what he was expecting. "Yes. I am listening." he snapped a pen into two.

Little Fools expression changed and he said seriously. "We are both going to die."

Gu Bojing chuckled and replied. "My Ai is not that type of person. Besides, perhaps you will die but not us. We have an alternative to solve all this. But..."he tsked. "You are stuck over there aren't you big brother?"

Little fool got riled up and warned. "Dont annoy me. What alternative..."something clicked in his brain and he quickly spoke. "Dont tell me...that is too risky. Did you not read the book?"

Gu Bojing sighed. This was probably the longest they had spoken on phone without trying to prove she loved one more than the other. "We have no choice. I did read the book..." he looked in the direction of the door, before saying.." Her deeds from her past life is catching up to her, isnt it?"

Gu Bojing threw the question back to him. "Would you not do the same?"

Little Fool did not reply but instead hung up. In his mind he knew he would do the same but he wanted to believe otherwise.

"Why would I? I am not stupid enough to do that for some girl." he proceeded to arrange the bag again but gave up and walked out. "Fuck this, Seductress can take care of the child herself."

Gu Bojing sprayed the room and opened the windows. He went to the other rroom and took a bath before going back to bed. As usual Xiao Ai had kicked the duvet off herself. After adjusting the duvet for her, he held her to sleep, thinking about what Little Fool had remained him of.

He pictured her face and thought...Just what have you done in your past life that made you have that kind of fate?

As if responding to what he said, the shameless woman frowned and turned her side. Gu Bojing had no choice but to think to sleep.

Xiao Ai you bitch.. living in such huge house yet you dare to complain of not having enough money. I want to get married too.

Gu Bojing knew he would have to prepare more food so he told her. "You can look around while I arrange the table. She is still asleep."
