Gu Bojing did not expect to be sudenly pulled by a lady dressed only in petticoat, who looked excatly like his wife and be kissed so fiercely.

He had first woke up in a dense forest, amidst the little chirps of birds around. He followed a noise and walked further till he saw a crowd on fire, weirdly he did not catch fire. He had wanted to walk back into the forest and hope for what to do when, he felt a gravity pull on his legs. Against his will, he moved forward towards a lady with ropes tied around her. The lady stared at him with teary eyes, lip quivering like she was resisting bawling her eyes out.

She was the only one except him who did not catch fire. When he got close enough, she grabbed both his hands and stared at him, fascinated.

"I knew we would meet again. Hubby..."

He did not get the chance to say a word as the lady crashed her chapped lip on his. Eyes went wide and he gripped her hand with the same force she used on him. He did not feel like pulling away, instead he felt as if he was kissing Xiao Ai.

Neither did he feel any remorse. It just felt normal for him.

When she let him go, it was her fierce hug that enveloped him next. "I miss you." She cried, water staining his shirt. Gu Bojing felt a few minutes pass, before pushing her away, slowly.

"You....look so much like my wife." was the first comment he made.

She smiled and responded. "I am her. Past her."

He shook his head took a step backwards. But she took one forward. The ropes around her coming loose slowly.

"Wait..." she paused as if she just realised something. "You are already married to her?"

Gu Bojing did not respond and he only watched the horror creep on her face slowly.

"Leave her!" It was a plead at first but when she saw that he did not express anything, her tone hardened and she commanded. "Leave her! If you dont leave me.....you will die."

Gu Bojing shook his head and moved away, "You...who are you?" he still could not process what was happening. First, he passed out along with Xiao Ai then he met himself here talking to a lady who looked excatly like Xiao Ai.

As the lady opened her mouth to talk, rain began to fall. She looked up and started to panick, grabbing his shirt. "They are here...they will kill me."

A voice boomed from behind. "Rejecting the royal order is placing an eternal curse on yourself!"

She glanced backwards and held Gu Bojings shirt tighter.

"Getting married to a strange being was enough, how far do you intend to go?" The man raised his head into the sky and adjusted his crown. From his clothes, the number of guards around him and the aura he exuded, it was easy to tell he was the king. Beside him was another fierce looking man, who signalled the guards to move forward.

Obviously, they were on their way to capture the lady.

She gripped his hand and pleaded. "Call my sister...no..no...not now. I accept!" She shouted to the men, but the looks on their faces showed that it was too late. "When you go back..help...no.." she really wanted to say something but did not know how to becaue she was too frightened.

Since this lady looked very much like Xiao Ai, seeing her expression like this reminded him of that time. The one time he saw Xiao Ai come apart. That one time...

The guilt washed over him again but he ignored it focusing on the woman. Her ankles were grabbed first.

"Father...you cannot curse me. I am your daughter!" She screamed as she wriggled free from the guard.

The king shook his head and stared at her. "I dont have a monster like you as a daughter."

"Phantasy...help...Phantasy!" She looked around.

The king sighed and proceeded to walk away. "Your troublesome other has been sent to the other world."

Her face fell and the little hold she had on Gu Bojing faltered as well. They had sent her away. They sent her away so she would have no help. They really...were forcing her into a corner.

She wiped her face and griped Gu Bojings hand again. Hurriedly she spoke, "when you go back. Find my sister. Go to a shaman or anyone. A priestess. Find her and tell her to lift the curse. If you dont...I really..." she choked..."I really cant watch that one more time. Please."

Gu Bojing did not know why he suddenly started to feel emotional. He grazed her hands and she gave him a bitter smile.

Xiao Ai who was watching from the side lines, frowned. What were they talking about that made Gu bojing look so emotional. Truly, past her was pitiful but he had no right to look at other women like that. She balled her fists and glared at past her.

Lifen coughed slightly and told her. "Mrs Gu keep calm. That is also you."

The guards forcefully dragged her legs again and the lady threw a punch at one sending him flying.

The head guard frowned and started to walk forward.

"What can I do?" Gu Bojing asked.

When she saw the head guard approaching, she closed her eyes to let tears fall and opened them to reveal shining eyes balls. Sadly, she responded to him.

"Nothing. I am grateful that I can see you again. Whatever trouble i might cause, I am sorry and ....I love you."

Those words, Gu Bojing had longed to hear them from Xiaos Ais mouth. He had heard them but it was always directed towards the girls.
