"Sweet Guy, what did I say to you when we got to the academy?" She was fuming as she impatiently tapped her leg on the floor watching Sweet guy who was slowly getting up his seat, looking like a child who stole candy.

"Bo...boss..you said to scent the flowers." he replied and quickly cowered behind little guy.

Sweet guy quickly slumped to the floor as his knees gave away.

Xiao Ai walked forward, her face scrunched into a helpless smile as she grabbed his ear and dragged him up with them.

Grinding her teeth together, Xiao Ai repeated" Didn't I say to not steal anything?" she angrily pushed him away, making him give Bolin a hug.

Sweet guy realized what she meant and quickly hugged Bolin tighter.

Xiao Ai understood and took the papers.

Giving Xioa Ai a cup of coffee, he glanced at her.

"You can't take any more time off again. Your sick leave was over since last week." he warned.

Xiao Ai sipped the coffee after placing the papers beside her. She smiled awkwardly.

It was true that her sick leave was over since last week, but she kept going back and forth, leaving as she pleased since she had been busy the past week.

"Have you gone through those?"

"Yes. Seems like a complicated case. Will the military be taking over this?" She questioned although she already knew where this was going.

There was no way the military will take a transfer case out of nowhere if it hadn't passed through their table first.

"I want you to take that case. If you do, it will be a free ticket plus bonus to being more eligible for the position of professor." he hinted trying to coax her.

Xiao Ai stared at the professor for a while, before giving a vague smile.

"I won't take this case Professor."

He furrowed his brows but didn't look surprised. He had expected this. Xiao Ai didn't really like taking on transfer cases.

"Is it because it's a transfer case? It was only transferred because they know you are capable. You don't need to feel burdened." he explained.

"Even if it weren't a transfer case, I still can't take this patient. If I do take this case, I will have to become involved with the law. Why do I feel like you only pass me difficult and dangerous cases?" Xiao Ai questioned her mind flashing back to the criminal case she had made Baozhai take on.

He had given her that case too, which was a bit dangerous.

"Because of all the doctors, only you have the guts to treat patients like this." Professor Ku honestly replied.

Xiao Ai went silent for some time. It was true only she had the guts to do something so dangerous. But she wanted to stay away from matters of the underworld and gangs. But now it seemed that wherever she went, her past followed.

"You can go back and think on it. If you decide to treat this patient, you and Psychiatrist Long will have to work it. You can consult me when you've made up your mind." he adjusted his glasses as he motioned for her to leave.
