Chapter 11: 11 – Lazily put together chapter.

"Let's first talk about what I saw with my appraisal," Celes said to which Eloc nodded.

A few minutes passed after Celes explained what intel she got from her appraisal.

"SIIGH, this sure had turned into some troublesome piece of great sh*t." Said Eloc.

"Indeed" Celes replied.

"Then? You're gonna take responsibility for this, right?" Eloc asked.

"…"

"… Right?" Eloc asked again.

"Yes, please don't worry about it."

(I said that but… how? Not like I know anything about that Marquis. Maybe I should first set a tracker onto the girls…? I doubt that they will act early but, just in case let's do that.)

"Can please call the girls for me?"

"What for?" Cole asked.

"I'm dealing with my responsibilities," Celes said with a smile.

"… Celes, even if you try to act cute, my mood won't lighten…" Cole said.

"Then I wonder why you're averting your gaze away while blushing and grinning?" Celes once again said with a smile.

"… I-I'll get the girls…" He replied before heading out of the room.

(Now that, that was dealt with, I'll have to bother Reg once more. Also, to make something that will allow me to sneakily track the girls wherever they are. If they're somehow not in the right places, then that only means one thing. This also gives me a chance to develop some kind of map. This had somehow turned into a both rewarding and troubling situation.)

"I've brought the girls," Cole said, still not looking eye to eye with Celes. Which the girls took notice of but ignored.

"What is it, Celes?" Asked Cess.

(Now what… I guess I can use those.)

"Can I have the hairpins for a second?" Asked Celes, to which the girls agreed and handed them over to her.

Celes decided to leave a signature of her mana in the form of all of her attributes except time, mind, and space. Of all her attributes, Celes doesn't have any idea how to use life, time, and space, while the mind just doesn't seem to fit right in.

She looked at her status and thought, (I keep getting stronger. I wonder why, is it because of my race or skills? Well, no use thinking about it when I know too little about my own people.)

She let the mana flow like strands through it and whenever it showed even a little bit of resistance she would change the direction of the mana flow. Her mana ran through the hairpins like strands going in and out.

"How's that?" Celes mumbled.

Her magic stock did noticeably drop though.

(I guess applying magic to items is quite hard, huh?)

"Did'ya do somethin' just now, Celes?" Amy asked.

"Yeah. You didn't notice?" She asked and looked around, only to find a jaw-dropped Cole and confused looks from the rest.

"… Say, what's with that enormous amount of mana just now…?" Cole asked, while visibly sweating. "No, actually. How'd you even manage to round up that much mana!?" He asked again.

"From my body? I don't really know how to answer you when you're not being specific. Enough of that though, let's see if this works," She shook off the question and proceeded, leaving behind the hesitating Cole.

(Now that I think about it, where is it located in me? Like, how is it kept in me?) She thought, but pushed the thought into the back of her head and decided to think about it later.

"Here," Celes returned Amy's hairpin and focused her :Magic Manipulation: once more.

(It's working just fine. It looks like my attributed mana is sucking up mana from the atmosphere. I actually thought of having the girls unconsciously flow their mana into them to be active all the time, but it seems like it's unnecessary. Nn, with this, I can always know their locations whenever my :Magic Manipulation: is on, as it widens the range of my magic senses, though not that much. I should be able to sense my own mana wherever it is.)
