Xu Nan and Sergeant Gao’s team stared at the warehouse without blinking. Their faces were all filled with worry.
“Sergeant Gao, it’s been so long, what’s going on inside? Did something happen?” someone asked worriedly.
“Did you hear the crying from the warehouse, why do I feel like there are plenty of people crying together?” someone wondered.
“Everyone who just patrolling outside has gone in. Did something happen?” Li Hu then said, “Let’s rush in!”
Sergeant Gao shook his head slightly. “We shouldn’t be impulsive in this matter. Since Grandmaster Ye hasn’t informed us of anything yet, hasty actions will only add to the chaos.”
“Yes.” Xu Nan nodded too. She also looked at the warehouse with anxiety before saying, “Based on my master’s strength, it’s impossible that nothing would happen if something went wrong. Just wait.”
“Look, someone is out!” Just then, Li Hu exclaimed.
Everyone’s eyes were electrically-bright as they stared at the warehouse door.
What they saw, however, was each of them walking out one by one with their heads held low. They seemed to be thinking about their life, as though they had received enlightenment. Many of them had shrugging shoulders and were sobbing spasmodically.
“This… are they crying?” Everyone was dumbfounded.
They then saw Ye Lingchen walking over quickly and uncovering his disguise. He said with a smile, “It’s done, escort them back with a car at once and lock them up.”
“Ye… Grandmaster Ye, what the hell is going on?” Sergeant Gao swallowed and asked.
“They surrendered,” Ye Lingchen spoke nonchalantly like it was no big deal.
“Surrendered?!”
Sergeant Gao and the others could not believe their ears. They thought they heard wrongly.
“M-M-M-M-Master, all these people are surrendering together? Really?” Xu Nan had a stupefied look and she stammered while she spoke.
“Yes.” Ye Lingchen nodded and said solemnly, “A teacher persuades others through virtue. As the saying goes, ‘a gentleman uses his words instead of his fists’. Violence isn’t the solution to a problem. Only by communicating with the heart can the other party be completely convinced. Guiding people to do good is often more important than killing a person. Have you… learned all this?”
What the hell did she learn?!
Xu Nan opened her mouth but was unable to answer his question. Not even novels could be written like that.
However, Ye Lingchen was seen to raise his hand and waved at the group of people. He shouted, “Hey, we’re the police, come on!”
In an instant, hundreds of eyes were focused toward him, following which everyone ran in his direction without a second thought.
“F*CK!”
They were finished! Their cover was blown!
Such a sudden change caused Sergeant Gao and others to jump up. They were scared to death and their limbs were cold.
“Grandmaster Ye, what’s the meaning of this? If you wanted to go against us, it’d would’ve been enough if you did so yourself. Why would you want to toy us like this?” Li Hu could not resist asking.
He looked at the crowd rushing towards him and his eyes were filled with despair.
“Get ready everyone! I would rather die than give up!” Sergeant Gao spoke in a tragic tone.
However, when the group of people rushed to Sergeant Gao and the others, they burst into tears and knelt directly on their knees. As they wiped their tears, they said sincerely, “My police comrade, I am a bad guy. I surrender. Please apprehend us!”
Sergeant Gao and his team’s eyes nearly popped out and they exchanged glances with each other. All they could feel was dryness in their mouth as well mucus stuck in their throat—they were speechless.
That was…too awesome!

However, Sergeant Gao was an experienced policeman and reacted calmly. He coughed softly and tried hard to remain calm. “Very well. The charges will be lighter if you know how to learn from your mistakes.”
“Mr. Policeman, we have a car in the backyard. You can use that to take us away.”
“Everyone queue up! Please be mindful as you get on the bus. I’m now announcing that we have all been arrested by our police comrades!”
“Oh, oh, oh! We’re arrested. This is where my life starts all over again!”
…
“Sergeant Gao, this group of people…seem a bit broken in the head.” Li Hu pointed to his head with a dumbfounded look on his face.
“Let’s go. Escort them back.” Sergeant Gao sighed. He had no idea what was going on, but regardless, they still had to be escorted.
When looking at the materials in the warehouse, Sergeant Gao and others immediately pulled a long face. Whether it was information, knowledge, or scientific technology, everything there was very important. The thought that everything was nearly stolen under their noses sent a chill deep inside their hearts.
“What do Earth’s Gate people want to do with these things? There’s human blood and animal blood too. Could they be studying something unspeakably inhumane?” someone could not help but take a wild guess.
“Bring it all back first!”
A group of people drove toward the police station.
“Master, you’re too powerful! You made so many people surrender! How did you do it?” Xu Nan’s mouth never stopped speaking throughout the journey and she was incredibly surprised.
Sergeant Gao and the others looked at Ye Lingchen in shock too. If they had not seen it first hand, they would have thought that it was a mythical story.
“You asked me this for the thirteenth time, and I will also answer you for the thirteenth time. As a teacher, I persuaded them through virtue as well as used language to influence them,” Ye Lingchen answered with a smile.
“Grandmaster Ye, you’re amazing.” Li Hu smiled. “Someone told me that he wanted to be a monk. He asked me how he could become one?”
They were hard at work until the sky was bright and it was only then that the group of people was held in custody. In addition, it was a situation where the other party was extremely cooperative. In an instant, the entire prison was full.
Of course, the entire police station was shocked when they saw Sergeant Gao escorting so many people back. Eventually, the Warrior’s Department was notified because of the special circumstances. However, this was not a concern to Ye Lingchen.
“Master, I’ll send you back,” Xu Nan said.
“Sure.”
“Master, I really want to thank you for this time. You not only saved me but also allowed me to contribute. I want to invite you to lunch,” Xu Nan said.
“I’m your master. Why all the courtesy?” Ye Lingchen shook his head.
“This is a big deal! It’s only right for the apprentice to invite the master! You can’t refuse! Otherwise… I’ll cry.” Xu Nan looked at Ye Lingchen with a grin.
“Yes, no problem!” Ye Lingchen nodded bitterly. It was a weekend after all, and there nothing was going on.
At the same time, inside the prison.
The boss woke up in a daze and he looked confused. When he saw countless familiar figures around him, he instantly shook his head and asked in horror, “What’s going on? How did we all end up in prison?!”
“Boss, you finally woke up.” Some of the men immediately came up with a smile and had proud looks on their faces, “You forgot? We surrendered! It’s the most glorious thing I’ve ever done in my life!”
“Surrender?! Who told you to surrender?” The boss was shocked.
“You! It’s your teachings that made us repent, which is why we all surrendered together. Boss, we want to thank you for your advice,” everyone said solemnly.
“Me?” The boss’s face turned dark immediately. His whole head was buzzing and his voice became hoarse. “No! This isn’t happening! I must be dreaming. I’m still in a coma and I’m not awake!”
After he finished speaking, his head slanted to one side and he fainted…
