Chapter 405 Meeting Hu Yue’er Again

Zhao Liangying went downstairs and saw Ye Lingchen. She could not help but blank out for a bit, after which she pouted once more. ‘That fella really has some good looks.’Thud thud thud!

Right then, footsteps could be heard from outside. Following that, a tall woman stood by the door.

“Wow, you’re… Hu Yue’er?” Zhao Liangying exclaimed in astonishment when she saw the guest.

“It’s me. Nice to meet you. You’re Zhao Liangying?” Hu Yue’er nodded at Zhao Liangying, then continued with a smile, “It’s nice to met you. I’ve always watched your TV series.”

They were all goddesses of the silver screen. Although they were not personally acquainted, they would still know about each other.

“Sister Yue’er, your acting skills are amazing.” Zhao Liangying immediately led Hu Yue’er into the Mushroom Hut. “Huang Lei Sensei! He Jia Sensei! Hu Yue’er is here.”

“Wow, another pretty lady. This season’s guests are really lucky.”

“Welcome, welcome to our big family.”

He Jia and Huang Lei greeted them with a wide smile on their faces.

“Nice to meet you. Who was the one that answered the phone earlier?” Hu Yue’er went straight to the point after exchanging formalities.

“That…”

Everyone was baffled. They could not help but shift their gaze to the figure sitting at the gazebo.

[It’s coming, it’s coming. The show is about to start!]

[I can’t wait. This day has finally come!]

[I wonder, what kind of warfare will come out of this? Cut the crap, get it going!]

[The live show is starting. Everyone, buckle up!]

The comments in the stream went into a frenzied mode. Quite a number of viewers adjusted their seats and watched the program on their screen excitedly.

Hu Yue’er wasted no time and immediately headed toward Ye Lingchen.

She glared at Ye Lingchen, feeling her anger well up from inside. ‘How dare he sit there sipping tea as though nothing happened after toying with me. That carefree expression! Damn it! If I don’t get my revenge, I, Hu Yue’er, will spell my name backward!’

Very soon, she arrived at the gazebo. Her eyes popped wide open. “You… Why is it you?!”

Seeing Ye Lingchen’s face, Hu Yue’er was shaken to her core. All the words she prepared to say were stuck in her throat; she could not voice them out.

“Eh? It’s you?” Ye Lingchen was mildly surprised. This girl was not a stranger, but the celebrity that wrapped herself up tightly on the plane earlier.

“I told you I’m also a celebrity. How’s that? I’m not lying right?” Ye Lingchen said smiling.

“You know each other?” Zhao Liangying looked at both of them in surprise. Judging from Hu Yue’er’s expression, it was obvious that something happened between them.

“Yes.” Ye Lingchen nodded. “I’ve helped her—”

“Treat an illness! He’s treated my illness before!” Hu Yue’er immediately cut him off, blushing slightly. She shot an angry look at Ye Lingchen, warning him.

“Illness? What illness?” Huang Lei asked curiously.

“Just a minor cold.” Hu Yue’er quickly made up an excuse. How could she bear to mention those things?

[Something’s wrong. There’s definitely something between them!]

[Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Hu Yue’er is blushing?]

[Hu Yue’er is known for being cold and arrogant. For her to blush, it’s definitely something big.]

[He helped her? Who can tell me what he helped her with?!]

[Previous posters, I think it’s better you guys don’t learn the truth.]

“God Ye knows how to treat people?” Seeing how Hu Yue’er was trying to avoid the topic, He Jia, the considerate guy, decided to shift the topic for her.

“He does. Some time ago I developed Anorexia and he got rid of it for me,” Zhao Liangying chimed in.

“Wah, that’s amazing.” Huang Lei was impressed.

Zhao Liangying’s Anorexia was no secret. People inside and outside the industry knew about it. Zhao Liangying had also lost quite some weight, therefore deciding to join Life’s Struggles in hopes to reduce her stress and help her with her recovery.

“God Ye, why don’t you help me check what illness I might have?”

“Me too! Help me check as well.”

Ye Lingchen glanced at them, then stated calmly, “He Jia Sensei is suffering from indigestion. Your stomach is inflamed. You should be suffering from gastric pain quite often, right? Huang Lei Sensei has quite a healthy body. You’re undergoing a diet therapy I assume?”

“Amazing!” Huang Lei gave Ye Lingchen a big thumbs up. “I’m interested in cooking, therefore will put myself through diet therapy often by making my own meals.”

“Huang Lei Sensei, you really know how to take care of your health.” He Jia looked at Ye Lingchen in admiration, then asked, “God Ye, are there any ways to treat my illness? I’ve been to various hospitals and they could only keep it under control for a short period of time, after which it would recur. It’s tormenting me.”

“If you depend on western medicine to treat this, it’ll never be fully cured unless you undergo surgery. The best method is to use Chinese medicine. Diet therapy is an important part of Chinese medicine. You can consult with Huang Lei Sensei and have him make you a nice meal every day, treating your illness whilst enjoying delicacies,” Ye Lingchen explained with a smile.

“Old Huang, it’s up to you now.” He Jia looked at Huang Lei with puppy eyes.

“No problem, just leave it to me. You should’ve told me about your condition earlier. I would’ve done it for you a long time ago.” Huang Lei and He Jia were close friends. Both the middle-aged men always supported each other.

[Hot damn! This is too amazing. The program crew is not making things up, right? How can he tell a person’s condition with just one glance?]

[Chinese medicine. It’s definitely China’s medical techniques. Previous poster, you’re just ignorant. These are the four ways of diagnosis in Chinese medicine. God Ye is awesome! Ahhhhhh!]

[God Ye is right. Diet therapy is the best method that saves the patient from unnecessary suffering. As the saying goes, sickness enters the body through the mouth. However, the same can be said for treatment. Eating is the best way to cure a disease.]

[Western medicine depends on surgery. Chinese medicine is still the best.]

He Jia and Huang Lei quickly went to the kitchen to prepare food. Hu Yue’er, on the other hand, brought her luggage and went to the room. Only Ye Lingchen and Zhao Liangying remained at the gazebo.

It was late, and night fell upon them quickly in the mountains. The scenery was just as beautiful as sunlight faded away and night breeze blew by, basking them in a comfortable coolness.

Ye Lingchen walked out of the gazebo and stood by the cliff, enjoying the gentle breeze, embracing heaven and earth.

When a person stood in the middle of a mountain range, he would feel insignificant, as though his entire being blended into nature, allowing him to let go of the shackles in his heart.

Zhao Liangying, sitting in the gazebo with her white skirt fluttering in the wind, similarly felt at ease.

She looked at Ye Lingchen’s back, suddenly feeling an urge to prank him. She quietly snuck up to Ye Lingchen.

‘This fella is always acting cool and ignoring me. Am I not beautiful enough for you? I must prank you good to release the hatred in my heart.’

Ye Lingchen was standing at the edge of the cliff. She planned to hug Ye Lingchen from the back and give him a good shake. ‘When that happens, he will surely be terrified.’ Just the thought of that almost caused Zhao Liangying to laugh out loud…
