Chapter 9: Power Up.

An unknown island.

Luffy laid down on a towering tree leisurely, as he watched the four confused nakamas.

"Luffy, there is nothing in this island. No vicious beasts nor harsh weather. Or are we going to fight against you?"

Zoro expressed bluntly.

He is very eager to get stronger.

After losing the fight against Hawkeye, he was more desperate for strength.

The others were also similar. They saw Luffy's inhuman strength, and to be honest, they are feeling useless and inferior.

Taking on the expressions on their faces and their bottled up emotions, Luffy decided not to whet their appetite any longer.

"Today, I'm going to share a secret with you."

They all looked at him in wonder.

"It's not, but it's surely more precious than any treasure in this world."

Luffy affirmed, after all the system that can even transplant Kryptonian Gene is beyond the cognition of human beings.

"2 years in 2 days. Powerful mentors and even inheriting a legacy of powerhouses from different worlds."

Sanji sipped on his cigarette, as his fingers trembled.

"It sounds unbelievable, but since Luffy said so, he won't lie to us."

Zoro firmly believe in Luffy. He already started thinking about the mentor to be chosen.

Nami asked curiously. She had a lot of questions.

"Zoro, your mentors you can choose between Ryuma, Oden, Gol.D.Roger, or some ancient swordsman hundreds years ago."

After all, Mihawk is not an accurate choice.

Zoro nodded in understanding, he was shaking with excitement.

Luffy then presented a lot of advices, but he didn't interfere much.

"Who are you?!"

Nami looked at the dumbfounded captain, as she laughed sweetly.

She hurriedly moved towards him, as she took him in a tight hug.

Luffy felt that those two days of waiting worth it.

After ending their hug, Luffy asked in surprise.

"You can even took clothes from the space. I didn't knew it all."

Nami rolled her eyes, as she said.

"You won't ask about my inheritance?"

Luffy nodded, as he looked at her in expectation.

Nami hummed, as she introduced.

"My features were classified as 'Thief', 'Weather', therfore I got the inheritance of a powerful woman from another world.

Her name is Ororo Munroe, Nicknamed Storm. Luffy! my abilities are awesome. I can control weather easily, and my physique is super strong. Although I learned Haki, I wasn't very proficient but after getting this template, I feel like I can do anything easily."

Watching the excited Nami. Luffy kept a smile in his face, but deep down he was shocked.

Mutant Storm.

According to Nami speech, she doesn't seem to know what a lucky draw did she got.

It's almost a Bug level power.

Her luck is almost catching up with me.

Luffy kept nodding, as the joyful Nami kept babbling.

He could tell that her power was quite strong, easily exceeding vice admiral level.

 In addition to her temperature immunity, two admirals are crippled in front of her, and even God Enel is the same.

Before Nami could continue her chattering, the second light appeared.

Ussop who gained a muscular frame, and his height increased to (194cm).

He was just some centimeters short than Luffy who grow up to (197cm).

He was clad in a white robe, and white gloves.

At both sides of his waist, two silver identical ornamental pistols were hanging up there.

Luffy could feel a strong presence from him. His body seems to be transformed, as he gained an immense abnormal physical power, vitality and spiritual power which boosted his haki reserves to a higher degree.

"Luffy! I miss you so much... Is that Nami?! Wow, you changed a lot, let me hug ..."

As soon as he opened his mouth, all that majesty was lost.

Luffy pushed his head with one hand, stopping his rascal behavior.

"What inheritance did you get?!"

Ussop coughed in embarrassment, as he regained his solemn posture.

"I'm a 'Marksman'. I got Coyote Starrk Inheritance, a very strong Marksman from another world."

Luffy nodded.

Another strong template. Starrk is more than just Marksman.

'It seems that I still need to help them discover their true power.'

The third light, appeared, and Sanji in a black suit, with fire all over his body was ready to take his revenge against Luffy.

He seems to grow more taller (196cm) and sturdier.

Suddenly, he froze in his place, as he looked at Nami in stupor.

His eyes turned to pink hearts, his nose bleeds like a fountain, but this didn't stop him from attacking her directly.

He was like a hungry wolf, a bloodthirsty shark that smelled blood.

Nami was instantly pissed off, so she kicked him mercilessly, sending him hundreds of meters away.

"So hard... What's wrong with his body?!"

Nami was surprised. She felt like hitting a mountain.

Sanji stood up like an okay person. There wasn't even a shallow scar on his body.

"Miss Nami... So beautiful... Aaaah, Miss Nami kick is wonderful, full of love and tenderness.

 I missed you so much...

Bastard Luffy, how can you be so heartless?!"

Luffy denied.

"Don't talk nonsense. I'm sorry about Ivankov, but Big Mom was quite a beauty in her youth. It's not my problem if you choose her elder form."

"What about the third mentor?!"

Sanji shouted loudly, as tears started falling from his eyes.

"How do I know?! It's just a random choice. If there is a problem, then that's just your bad luck."

Ussop tried to pacify the heart broken Sanji, and he finally was able to inquire about his template.

"My feature is 'Fire', and my inheritance came from Natsu Dragnel.

It's a man with the power of dragons and demons. Other than the perverted defense and healing. I'm also immune to fire and high temperature, I can swim in magma, also eat all types of fire and use it to regain my energy."

From Sanji smog expression, he seems to be very satisfied.

"What a perverted power."

Nami said in shock, which boosted Sanji self-esteem more.

Luffy looked at Nami speechlessly.

He was clad in a blue coat, grey pants and black boots.

His long hair was combed to the back, and in his waist, there is an additional Katana.

His height increased as he was about the same Height as Luffy (197cm).

"You finally looks like a strong person, Zoro."

Luffy said in gratification.

The current Zoro is unfathomable.

Nami and Ussop started pestering him about his inheritance.

"'Unyielding Will', 'Swordsman', 'Demon'."

"My template is a super strong guy named 'Vergil'"

Zoro explained with a cool attitude.

Nami seized  him up and down, and felt that Zoro seems quite stable than ever before.

Luffy was once again marveling at the luck of the protagonist team.

If the previous Zoro is hopeful to become the world's greatest swordsman, the current one, may already have a tendency to surpass all the swordsmen in this world past, present and future.

The group passed another three days to experiment on their newly gained powers.

Luffy also explained to them all their abilities.

The shocked look on their faces was priceless, specially, Nami.

She still can't believe that she is that strong.

When the Going Merry left, the island disappeared from this world.

After all, the five people, each has the power to create catastrophes.

Next destination, Nami's Hometown.
