Chapter 11: Ch 11: Sharing A Room

We then went inside the Adventurers Guild... It's nothing special, just the same old Adventurers Guild from Isekai... A bar(or should I call it a Tavern?) with some drunk Adventurers on one half and the other half? A bulletin board with some quests and Adventurers looking at them, while there's a desk right on the middle which I guess serves as a receptionist desk for the Adventurers, which, im guessing, is also the place where the drunkards order their drinks.

Anyways, Kiara talked to the person behind the desk about getting our adventures licenses, and I can't help but notice some... Weird... Gazes towards me and Kiara... Mostly towards me since I'm practically armourless... Well anyways, just a quick glance from Jhasque made those that were gazing at us find something unique about the wall... He then looked at me like he wanted a praise... What the hell?

Well, after Kiara talked to the Guild Receptionist, she told him that we have some stuff to sell, he then led us to the second floor of the guild where apparently, is where monster corpses and stuff are sold, Kiara took out the monster corpses in her inventory and then let the guild do their business, after that they gave her the money, she then glanced at me.

(Kiara)"Aleizar, your turn"

I then opened my Spatial Inventory... Yes I have one, apparently Kiara was insitent to teach me during those 2 days of our travel, and surprisingly, I quickly learnt it, when I asked Erebus about it, they told me that it's an effect of my Blessing.

"An Chief Slime core...?"

(Aleizar)"I'd prefer if no question is asked... We encountered one in the Monster Territory and that's it..."

"...I see, well this will cost quite a lot, excuse me while I evaluate the quality of the corpses and cores"

"The price will be 1500 Eras, would you like that as Bronze or Silver coins?"

Apparently, this world's currency are called Eras, I expected it to be connected to their Goddess called Ashgard but... Thank the devil it's not... And yes I choose to say devil because, why not? I'm technically the Demon Hero.

(Aleizar)"What do you guys suggest?"

(Kiara)"I suggest taking them as both small and large bronze and small silver but... It's up to you"

"I suggest taking them as 1 Large Silver, 3 Small Silver, 18 Large Bronze, and 20 Small Bronze"

(Aleizar)"Sure doesn't matter anyways..."

I'll make Erebus tell me about this world's currency since I have no idea how much those are.

"Great"

He said as he placed some coins in a pouch and handed them to me.

(Kiara)"Likewise, well then, shall we get going to find a Inn?"

We then walked outside the Guild then proceeded to look for an Inn, then noticed that night would soon greet us so we hurriedly entered then went to the Receptionist.

(Kiara)"Pardon me, do you have 4 available rooms?"

"Ah, sorry young lady but... We currently only have 2 rooms, which can accommodate 2 people"

(Kiara)"Ah...."

(Jhasque)"Well, that's fine isn't it? You and Aleizar take one room while me and Elliot take the other"

(Kiara)"I-Is it possible to find another Inn--"

(Elliot)"I do not suggest doing so... We may not find another Inn that is available after all"

(Kiara)"Ah..."

(Aleizar)"Why is that-?"

(Elliot)"Well, there are quite a lot of foreigners in this city which strengthens the chance that we won't find a good Inn to sleep for the night, which is obviously an excuse to get you two together"

She then gave the Receptionist 14 small silver coins, which in exchange, gave us two keys with the numbers '16' and '19' on it.

"Thank you for choosing Sunflower Inn as your Temporary Home, we will try to live up to your expectations dearest guests"

We were then led to our rooms by a young man, Me and Kiara occupied room 16 while Elliot and Jhasque occupied room 19.

And wow... Im quite surprised about our room... A bed on each side with a window on the middle, beside it are two small tables placed near the two beds, then two small cabinets to place our clothes beside the door, more suprisingly, the window had a small flower pot with a Sunflower... So that's why the Inn is called Sunflower Inn.

Kiara claimed the bed on the Right side while I claimed the one on the left... Heh... Good, or should I say light, is on the right side... Ok I'm sorry.

Well anyways, as Kiara sat down on her bed, she looked at me and asked.

(Kiara)"Soo... Any ideas on what you wanna do tomorrow before the exam starts?"

(Aleizar)"Maybe purchase some clothes and explore the City?"

(Kiara)"Oh, that would actually be a great idea, I also need to purchase some clothes myself since I really didn't bring that much with me... Considering most of my clothes back then are... Uncomfortable..."

(Aleizar)"I'm not even gonna ask"

I, ofcourse, know what she is talking about but!! Let's not talk about that...

(Aleizar)"Hmm, Im also planning to get some armour and a weapon I guess"

(Kiara)"Do you even need a weapon..?"

(Aleizar)"I'd rather not deal with curious gazes towards me holding none"

(Kiara)"True... while buying a weapon may not be such a good idea considering your unique skill... I don't think it would be a nice idea to show everyone a unique card"

Considering I have a skill that literally makes me stop time... I guess that's true.

(Aleizar)"If possible... An armour that doesn't restrict my movements and a nice sword, it has to be nice atleast, since I probably won't be using it that much, I'd prefer a nice one instead of a plain one"

(Kiara)"A plain one would be desirable since you won't be using it that much but... Your choice not mine, also about your armour, you should consider enchanted clothes instead, they won't restrict your movements since their practically just some set of clothing enchanted by magic to be comparable to a armour, although, those shit cost quite a bit more than normal armour"

(Aleizar)"If it's on the range I can afford then I'll consider it"

(Kiara)"Mhm... Should we get dinner, or do you wanna skip that and go to sleep?"

(Aleizar)"I'm more tired than hungry, if your wondering why, blame the gazes filled with lust back at the Adventurers Guild, which is probably worst for you knowing your unique skill"

(Kiara)"Aha... So you actually noticed it..."

(Aleizar)"Yeah... Since most of them were focused on me..."

(Kiara)"I feel bad but... I'm sorry that I'm happy about the fact that I'm not the only one to carry that burden"

(Aleizar)"No shit, I could understand why people would stare at you since your quite beautiful, must be hard huh?"

Kiara then quickly took of her armour and layed down the bed, facing the wall, hmm I could see her face redden a bit... Was it my imagination? Probably... Well I guess I should sleep like she suggested

Damn Aleizar... Casually calling me beautiful just like that... What's worst is that she doesn't even realize what she just said!! Is she dense or what...? Or does she like... Men... hopefully it's the Former and not the Latter... I would have a chance if it was the Former but... If it was the Latter I would have zero chance... Unless she manages to change her sexuality which I doubt will happen.

Ugh... I've only known her for 2 days but I've already fallen for her... She just... Feels so nice to be around with... She emits an energy that calms me down... Even with her <Intimidation> earlier... Kind of like that idiot Raziela... But she's different and I don't know why... Well yeah it's obvious, I like her and not that idiot but... Ugh... Let's just get some sleep.
