It was a stupid name. Not only was it arrogant for a girl of such diminutive size, but it also wasn’t even a real name. Despite that, I couldn’t help but think that “dragon” wouldn’t be an incorrect description of her. If anything, it was quite apt.
All of her attacks shook the air with the force of a hurricane, and the sound that her strikes produced echoed to the heavens and beyond like thunder. Her fists were the dragon’s flames, and her speed were its wings. Her ferocity in battle truly brought no shame to draconic majesty.
Perhaps that was why I was having so much fun as the two of us repeatedly traded blows. But even so, no matter how powerful they were, dragons existed to be slain. It was the natural conclusion of every age-old tale.
I swiped my thumb across the corner of my lip, removing the crimson smear that blemished my otherwise spotless face. Dragon’s latest blow had forced me backward several paces, creating some distance between us.
“...Not bad.” I smirked, watching her stride toward me with utter confidence.
Throughout the course of our battle, I couldn’t sense even an inch of hesitation in her movements. It was as if she believed that the battle had already been won even though the damage that she’d actually inflicted on me thus far was minimal at best.
In response, she abruptly accelerated toward me, the ground beneath her feet exploding into shards of earth and rock as she flew toward me, her fist outstretched. She was around two heads shorter than I was, and her frame was far more gracefully built than mine, though this did little to compromise her incredible physical strength.
I stepped to the side, allowing her attack to pass me by harmlessly.
Shit!
Or so I thought. The moment I moved out of her line of attack, Dragon’s leg swept upwards in a vicious arc. A veritable grim reaper’s scythe was aimed directly at my neck, her sweeping kick traveling with such force that the air around her foot was displaced in such a way that an immense vacuum was created.
Even if I avoided the attack, the resulting force from her attack’s aftereffects would no doubt send me flying away. It wasn’t a problem for me, but it would certainly do a lot more damage to the surrounding soldiers than simply throwing them through the air.
In other words, there was only one thing I could do right now.
[Demonic Enhancement]!
I slid my lead foot back slightly as I felt the familiar power of the skill flow through my body once more, empowering my physical capabilities beyond the normal limits. There was no time to think. In an instant, my leg flashed out with blinding speed like a samurai drawing their sword.
The path that it traced through the air was straight and true in comparison to Dragon’s kick which described a cleaving arc of death. Not a true attack, but an attempt to prevent the destruction that would occur if I simply stood by and let the reaper cull the fields.
It was unbearably heavy.
It wasn’t a question of strength. No, [Demonic Enhancement] provided me with more than enough strength to counter her kick with that of my own.
The moment our attacks connected, I felt an unfathomable weight behind her kick. It took all of my strength just to match the overbearing aura that she exerted merely with that single attack.

A moment later, a burst of air exploded from our point of contact, but no more. It was nothing more than a simple gust that resulted from our attacks, far beneath the magnitude of our previously destructive attacks.
I breathed a sigh of relief even as I hopped backward. To my surprise, she wasn’t doing the same, nor was she advancing. Instead, she simply stood there regarding me.
A part of me hoped that I had somehow damaged her with my counterattack, but the more realistic part of my mind told me that nothing of the sort had happened. Even with [Demonic Enhancement], it seemed that we were evenly matched. I really would’ve liked to see what her stats looked like, but I’d used [Complete Analysis] on her immediately after she launched her first attack.
Of course, it was blocked. If even [Complete Analysis] was unable to reveal her secrets, then I suppose the only thing in the world that could unlock the key to her secrets was her trust. At this moment though, I doubted I’d be able to obtain that anytime soon.
“...So it was true. A human that’s capable of using skills exclusive to the eastern tribes.”
I frowned. The only person that I’d heard refer to the demonic tribes as the “eastern tribes” other than myself was Princess Sella, and even then, she didn’t mention them often. So... Who the hell was she?
As it turns out, I didn’t have to wait very long for the answer. After all, she gained nothing from hiding her identity from me anyway.
A hairline crack appeared in the center of her mask. It divided the mask into halves perfectly for a moment, and then it spread towards the edges like a crawling spider’s web slowly dominating an abandoned corner.
And then it shattered.
My eyes widened in surprise.
The face beneath was undoubtedly beautiful, that was sure. In fact, it could have been said to be perfect if beauty could ever be judged objectively. But that wasn’t the reason for my surprise. Rather, it was what—or who—the face resembled.
Kusanagi Momoka. She was the protagonist of Villainess Rebirth: Do It Right!, a yuri-centric otome game that I played back on Earth. It wasn’t exactly a popular game, and I’d only heard of it thanks to someone introducing it to me.
That’s why seeing someone who was the spitting image of Momoka right in front of me was incredibly jarring. There was no way that this person wasn’t the same as me: someone who possessed the [Transmigrator] skill.
Before I could speak, there came a voice from behind me.
Antenora’s eyes were wide with shock, and she stood stock still with her mouth agape.
“Alesia... is that you?”
