Chapter 74 I'm out of the cabin and feel good

My body feels so light, almost too light. Wang Xiaomie's mind was still fairly logical and sober, but the information his brain provided him was hazy and slow.

It was similar to skipping frames while watching a film.

Wang Xiaomie felt like he was on the bed one second, but the next he noticed that the bed was a mess, and the bedside table and the cups on it had gone flying all over the floor. He was astride Wen Fengjin, who was writhing on the floor. His clipped smooth and round nails were fully sunk in Wen Fengjin's neck, suffocating him.

He clenched his hands around the slender neck.

Wen Fengjin, however, did not struggle hard. He was well aware that Wang Xiaomie was out of control and extremely powerful at the moment. Wang Xiaomie's two arms would be broken if he tried to break free from Wang Xiaomie's grip.

The cracking sounds of fracturing and healing made by the neck under his control were incomparably horrifying to those who heard them.

Wen Fengjin did not resist even though his face was pale and his throat was unable to make a sound.

When Wang Xiaomie awoke, he observed this scenario, and his foggy brain almost experienced another power outage.

What the f*ck!

"I— I can't control myself!"

He clenched his teeth and desperately squeezed out these words before fighting to mobilize his body as if his life depended on it. He moved his fingers away from Wen Fengjin’s neck and pressed them again, as if they were cramping.

Someone was vying with him for control of this body somewhere.

"I don't want to—be a husband killer—!!!"

Wang Xiaomie let out a roar and seized control of his body. He tumbled to the ground and hit the back of his head on the floor because he battled too hard.

It made a loud 'wham!' sound even with a rug on the floor.

Wang Xiaomie got the sensation that a large bun had developed on the back of his head almost instantly!

He sorely wanted to reach out and rub his head, but found that his body was out of control and like a marionette, trying to stand up in an awkward stance.

Wang Xiaomie: OMG! Seriously!?

"Xiao Wenzi!" Wang Xiaomie yelled at the top of his voice: "Hurry, hurry, hurry! I'm going to stand up; I'm going to stand up!"

Wen Fengjin instantly turned over and stood up after Xiaomie fell to the ground, tilting his neck left and right twice, emitting mild noises of bone friction. When he saw Wang Xiaomie's body starting to rise again, he charged over like a ferocious tiger without saying anything!

A long leg swept across! Wang Xioamie, who was twisting and zombie-like, was promptly kicked off his legs, and the entire person fell to the ground with a 'thud!', the back of his head slamming on the floor again.

Wang Xiaomie felt a smaller bun appear on the big bun on his head after a burst of acute pain in the back of his head.

Sss!... Am I a f*cking double-scoop ice cream?!

It wasn't finished yet. Wen Fengjin pinned his entire body on him in the next second, his arm firmly wedged on his neck, his free hand squeezing his thin wrist and grabbing Wang Xiaomie's two flailing hands, and his legs parted and pressed on both sides of Wang Xiaomie's legs.

The panicked eyes and the long and narrow eyes with weird pupils met.

Yi Yan noticed the puppet suspended by silk strands trembling slightly and unable to move in the basement. As he moved the finger connected to the other end of the silk threads, he snorted contemptuously and smirked.

… … …

The man beneath his body twisted frantically and because of his posture, Wang Xiaomie's thighs, which were soft to the touch and radiated his warm body heat through the thin clothes, were continuously grinding neither softly nor heavily against a certain region of Wen Fengjin.

Wen Fengjin's face darkened: "Don't move!"

"I’m not…I didn’t! You may not believe it, but my body has its own thoughts."

Wang Xiaomie's old face turned red, and he wanted to cry but couldn’t shed a tear. You truly can’t judge a book by its cover. Wasn’t this Yi Yan a little too obscene? He actually manipulated him into doing such a thing!

Wen Fengjin remained silent and continued to restrain him.

After a long wait.

Wang Xiaomie sensed a certain big brother stand up full of vigor with a sluggish look on his face after Boss Wen let out a muffled groan.

"......"

Boss, shouldn't you have extraordinary endurance as the male lead?!

Perhaps it was because Wang Xiaomie's eyes were too astonished, but Wen Fengjin's ruthless and gorgeous face revealed a rare look of shame.

He said: "This should be the result of the thing Yi Yan asked Bai Yu to make you drink. It’s probably a drug with a control effect. Since he unleashed it today, one needs to drink it six times."

Wang Xiaomie was silent for a moment before looking up and asking.

"Are you... changing the subject?"

Wen Fengjin: "......"

The man gave him a feather-light look.

Wang Xiaomie, upon receiving that look, quivered and murmured, "...See through, but don’t reveal. My bad. Please continue."

"......"

Wen Fengjin pursed his lips and remarked, "This drug is remarkable. After being forced out by so many blood sacrifices, it could still have such an impact. That means he must have intended to erase your consciousness and completely transform you into a puppet from the start. Besides being controlled, do you sense anything else?"

"No."

His body had practically twisted into a pretzel, but his brain had zero awareness of its own movements. This experience was both bizarre and amusing.

"I still know who I am, and my memory is not chaotic," Wang Xiaomie said, shaking his head.

"That's good."

"Yi Yan must see that I won't hurt you," Wen Fengjin said, "therefore he wants you to do your best and give me a wound that is temporarily difficult to heal and then take you away."

"This is close to what you assumed at first." Wang Xiaomie’s brows wrinkled. "So what now? Isn't it pointless to have duped him if the drug has the effect of controlling the body?"

Wen Fengjin gave him a look.

Wang Xiaomie felt uneasy being gazed upon by those abyss-like black eyes.

"Um… Why are you staring at me?"

"Enduring it."

"What?"

Wen Fengjin smirked at him, which confused Wang Xiaomie, but the next instant, a powerful and familiar agony struck his brain!

"F*ck—me——!!!"

God damned blood sacrifice!!! Aroo—

A scream echoed over the villa area under the curved full moon, and several neighboring families roused from their dreams. They dazedly covered themselves back with their blankets and continued to sleep after some thought. Everyone in this villa neighborhood had their own secrets, and they didn't care about things they shouldn't.

In the moonlight, a werewolf-like figure sprang down from the villa's second level and exited with a few leaps.

After being controlled, the body's potential was activated, and the body that would never age or die and held infinite power was just like being wrenched open like a key.

It was truly like being able to leap onto roofs and soar over walls. His soles stepped on the street lamps and continued to leap. Wang Xiaomie, a patient who was scared of heights, waltzed through the air, his gaze fixed on the height under his feet.

I'm out of the cabin and feel good[1].

I’ve launched successfully.

Over.

A black crow swooped down and landed on his shoulder, beating its wings. Wang Xiaomie was taken aback, but upon closer inspection, he discovered that the crow's eyes were red, like glass beads flashing inorganic light.

This crow was also most likely Yi Yan's puppet.

Xiaomie stayed silent and let the crow follow him till he finally arrived at Yi Yan's shop as anticipated. His body stood at the entrance, the crow cawed three times, and the door was pushed open a split second later. Yi Yan, mature and gentle in his trademark cyan Mandarin jacket, smilingly opened his arms and hugged him.

"My best work, welcome back!"

He was beaming, and behind him was the expressionless Bai Yu.

He then grabbed Wang Xiaomie's hand in his and stepped in. Wang Xiaomie walked in obediently, pretending to be glassy-eyed and controlled.

The door was locked.

The living area was filled with many boxes. Yi Yan appeared to have intended to shift his location immediately after kidnapping him.

The older man's gaze was a touch absent-minded as he walked into the lighted hall. He placed his hand on Wang Xiaomie's cheek and gently rubbed it, who was staring at him with dull eyes.

"How beautiful."

Yi Yan sighed softly, as if he was overcome with whatever emotion.

"You are my life’s most beautiful work..." He kept his hand on Xiaomie’s cheek while rubbing his thumb back and forth on his lips, which were stained with a lot of blood that had been fed to him after being urged by Wen Fenjin’s blood sacrifice.

"He did not pursue you. You appear to have successfully injured him."

The man with the unique temperament and the face worth a second glance approached. His and Wang Xiaomie's faces were only a finger's width apart. Yi Yan smiled and bowed his head, wiping the blood from Xiaomie’s lips.

"So obedient."

"......"

F*ck you! Rogue!

Wang Xiaomie, who was pretending to be a fool, broke out in goosebumps all over, and just when he couldn't help biting the paw that was taking unfair advantage, Bai Yu made a sound.

"Teacher," he said.

Yi Yan was startled by the call containing a warning. Soon after, his lips rose in a tiny smile, and he let go of Wang Xiaomie. Wang Xiaomie sighed in relief and noticed Yi Yan turn around and whisper something to Bai Yu. Xiao An looked lovely in a lilac singlet, a short skirt, and a white lace top. Her legs swayed back and forth as she sat quietly on a suitcase.

The whispered conversation came to an end quickly.

Bai Yu's face was terrible, as was Yi Yan's. After a few minutes of the two men staring at each other, Yi Yan changed the subject and said, "We must leave quickly to avoid a direct confrontation with Wen Fengjin."

"I will leave a letter in the hall to guide Wen Fengjin’s pursuit of us into our trap. Bai Yu... We'll talk about those things later. You and Xiao An put our belongings in the car, and I'll bring Xiaomie over in a minute, okay?"

Yi Yan placated in a warm voice, raising his hand and rubbing Bai Yu's head. Bai Yu didn’t say a word. He glanced at the glassy-eyed Wang Xiaomie and walked up to Xiao An, saying: "Let's go."

"Mn." Xiao An leaped to the ground. She easily lifted two large boxes on her own. Bai Yu picked up the rest and moved over to Wang Xiaomie's side, held Xiaomie with his free hand and led him out.

At the moment of turning around, Wang Xiaomie saw Yi Yan place a letter on the coffee table, then turn to follow them with a chuckle.

The shop was not locked, perhaps to make it easier for Wen Fengjin to catch up.

The luggage was thrown into the trunk. Xiao An smartly opened the front passenger seat door and climbed inside, while Bai Yu guided Wang Xiaomie to the back seat and sat next to him.

When he saw the soulless eyes of the person who had taken such good care of him in the past, Bai Yu suddenly opened his mouth, shocking Wang Xiaomie.

He said, "I have no regrets."

"I've let you down, Xiaomie. I'm no longer a good person. Betraying you may be the biggest mistake of my life... You and Boss Wen are so kind to me..."

"But I don't regret it..."

"People are selfish and change... If I die at the hands of Boss Wen one day, I’ll be relieved[2]."

When Bai Yu finished speaking, he turned to Wang Xiaomie and straightened his messy clothes.

Wang Xiaomie felt apprehensive. Wen Fengjin strapped the dagger 'Kaiming' to his inner thigh, which was hidden by his loose casual attire, before he left. Fortunately, after tidying up his clothes a little, Bai Yu saw he wasn't wearing shoes and frowned, moving to put a towel beneath his feet.

It was bedtime at the time, so his clothes were appropriate. His slippers had already dropped someplace as he was flying.

The car door opened and then slammed shut.

The car rocked a couple times inside. Bai Yu stopped talking when he saw Yi Yan getting into the car.

The wide Land Rover started, left this small city overnight, and drove fast in a certain direction.

Not long after, the unhurt man with long silver hair and all-black attire stood in the deserted shop, opened the thick letter, and smiled.

The shadows obscured his gloomy appearance. He plainly did not speak or move, but he instilled a morbid and twisted horror in people, similar to being trapped in a dark alley by a homicidal maniac who dismembered victims.

"Yi Yan."

Wen Fengjin bent his head, and his low laugh got louder and louder.

"Wait for me—"

As a bloodthirsty and icy light flashed in his dark pupils, he raised his head.

"You’re looking for death, and I’ll gladly help you!"

Wang Xiaomie took a look at the height beneath his feet and, after a brief silence, said:

I’m out of the cabin and feel good.

I've launched successfully.

Over.

Boss Wen: Speak human.

Wang Xiaomie: Ying[3]!

(Wang Xiaomie is terrified of heights.)

[3] A crying sound.
