A blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty had stared at her with tears in her eyes.
Yernia had never seen that girl before.
“Hey, do you want some tissue?” When Yernia secretly asked her, the woman went out quickly. “What?”
“What? Who is it? Do you know her?” Seria asked.
Yernia shook her head worriedly.. “No. I don’t know.”
She couldn’t understand why she suddenly cried in front of her.
Nevermind.
Yernia stood from her seat to deal with the glass bottle Seria had given her.
Since she had no desire to be nagged at, Yernia sneaked out from the waiting room while Seria and Ivan were away.
“Oh. Cassian–”
When she went to the back of the temple, Yernia found someone wearing white robes, and he looked familiar.
He turned his head slightly to the side.
As expected, she was right.
It was Cassian.
He looked different in formal attire that it felt like she had just seen a stranger.
Yernia tried to call him, but she suddenly shut up when she heard someone cry.
“You’re so mean, Cassian. I didn’t even know you were getting married!”
It was a woman.
The blonde woman.
Yernia immediately recognized this woman who had cried in her waiting room earlier.
Cassian stepped backward to avoid the woman who rushed at him, and when she tried to get a hold of his sleeve, he nervously slapped the woman’s hand away.
“Please don’t touch my robes with your dirty hands.” Cassian gave the woman a cold stare.
The woman screeched. “Your destiny is a fake, Cassian! I know everything.”
What?
His destiny was fake?
Yernia’s eyes widened in shock.
“Don’t be delusional. Just shut up and get lost. Don’t ruin my mood.”
“I like you.”
“I don’t even know your name.”
For a moment, Cassian didn’t look like someone she knew.
He had a strange countenance and even used a different tone of voice.
At this moment, there was no hint of friendliness on his face.
The gentle and playful Cassian was nowhere to be found.
“Come to think of it. Cassian had treated Yernia like that in the novel’s original plot!”’
Yernia had become close to Cassian that she forgot he used to be like that.
“You’ve never liked anyone, have you? Even if others like you, you don’t know how to be grateful, Cassian. Do you even have feelings inside that black heart of yours?”
Yernia realized too late that she had no right to listen to other people’s conversations, so she took a step back and hid behind the wall of that building.
She moved away from there in silene quietly as if she wasn’t there in the first place.
“Who said that?” Cassian turned his head to the woman again. “I do like someone.”
