“But…”
“Shh! No one will know.”
The conversation sounded like it came from the servants in the Lecardo mansion.
Fortunately, they didn’t walk close to Yernia and Cassian hiding behind the bookshelves.
They heard someone lock the door before the two figures fell flat on the sofa.
“Ugh.”
Yernia peeked from the bookcase in surprise.
A maid in her uniform and a footman were kissing each other.
The study was dead and still except for the arduous moans and the lust-filled atmosphere.
Yernia glanced up at Cassian and she regretted it immediately when she saw his intense gaze fixate on her forehead.
Where did Cassian even came from before this happened?
And why were they both hiding over here?
They shouldn’t be surprised about this but those two servants sharing affection in their master’s study, instead.
‘Please stop it and just go.’ Yernia prayed to herself, but their kiss went on and on.
Cassian pushed her palm away from his lips and whispered in her ear.
“What are we going to do now?”
“You got me in this predicament.”
Cassian had said harsh things to other people without a care.
How much, much more if they were just his mere servants?
Frankly, it was more interesting rather than complex.
“Shall we go out of this study now? I don’t care.”
Now?
Nothing could have been more embarrassing than that.
Yernia shook her head in refusal.
“Let’s just stay for a minute. If we go out now, they might think we’re weird.”
“There’s nothing strange in our situation. You didn’t even kiss me here.”
“Still—-”
“Well, I don’t care.”
He pulled Yernia’s waist closer, and she was in his arms instantly.
She glowered at him as if she wanted him to explain what he was doing.
“I’m afraid we’ll get caught.” He responded in a small voice. “We don’t want to be caught.”
“You’re too close when we don’t have to be.”
“Well, I think they’re going to see us.”
Yernia turned around and looked at them.
At that moment, she had no idea when the couple lying on the sofa changed their positions.
They were having sex close to their bookshelf and sharing a passionate kiss.
Oh!
No wonder she heard strange thumping sounds.
One wrong move and they could get caught since Cassian was half-carrying Yernia in his arms.
It was inevitable but it caused her great discomfort to stay like that.
Yernia slipped away and straightened her posture.
They were so close that they could be caught if they didn’t stick really tight.
“……!”
Thanks to the annoying couple, who were now starting to kiss each other’s bodies, Yernnia had hugged Cassian’s waist.
Cassian’s shoulders jerked in surprise.

“Let me hug you for a second.”
Yernia buried her face in his chest, and she couldn’t have asked anything better than this.
She could feel Cassian’s chest shake as he breathed close to her ears.
“Stay still.”
He shifted from foot to foot in discomfort, and Yernia’s body moved in the same rhythm.
Despite Yernia’s command, he couldn’t seem to keep his body still.
Maybe he wanted to peel her limbs off him but he held himself back.
“Cassian, stay calm. You’re making me uncomfortable.”
“Be quiet. Let’s just get out of here.”
When Cassian withdrew from Yernia’s hug she went with him further to hide from the couple.
Regardless of what Cassian felt, she would simply repeat the same approach.
However, Cassian couldn’t keep his body still the instant his back touched the wall.
Their clothes had rustled from the impact, but the passionate lovers didn’t seem to notice because their smooches were louder than Yernia and Cassian’s body colliding with each other.
“Even if you find it uncomfortable, just hang in there. It’ll only take a minute.”
He sighed.
“Damn it.”
“Why?”
Cassian raised his eyes to the ceiling.
She flashed him an anxious glance.
His Adam’s apple bobbed up and down as he swallowed hard.
“Your heart is beating so fast. Calm down.”
Yernia could hear Cassian’s heartbeat and noticed his face was red.
Did he have a fever again?
“Please don’t stick close to me.”
Cassian nudged Yernia away from him with his shoulder.
“I’m in a lot of trouble right now.”
“…….”
Yernia didn’t bother asking what had troubled him because she instinctively understood Cassian’s words.
Their bodies were too close and his brows had furrowed deeply.
He bit his lower lip so hard as if he was barely holding something in.
Then, she felt some hard, wooden thing twitch slowly near his groin.
There was a reason why Cassian kept moving backwards to avoid sticking to her.
Finally realizing the cause of his abnormal behavior, Yena gasped.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
Yernia jumped away from him as if lightning had hit her.
She withdrew a little bit since she couldn’t move any further.
The bookshelf wasn’t that big, and the couple might catch her within their sight.
“I didn’t know that you’d be so close.”
Yernia became restless from being stuck here with him.
Why?
Why did this happen to her?
Feeling lost, Cassian slipped back and pulled Yernia’s arm when she was about to pop out of their hiding place.
Of course, he dragged her back, but it wasn’t close enough for their skin to touch.
