Chapter 71: Practicing

Fang Chen has learned basic behind the weapon craftsmanship and now he is ready to practice with real material so he didn't waste time and started to arrange the resources.

He arranged grade one ores of similar type and after that he removed his robe as a system has suggested that it would be good if he removes his shirt because Fang Chen would have to work near the furnace and it would get lot hotter.

So Fang Chen listened to the system instruction and started to prepare According to the system's instruction it took a few minutes but all materials were arranged and now finally he can start practicing the craftsmanship.

Now the 1st process was to heat the ore according to it's peak temperature So in this process all Fang Chen has to do is put the ore in the furnace and supply with spiritual energy so he started the process.

The ore he was going to use was black iron which the system uses to refine the sword and the saber so it was the same as he is going to use it to refine his 1st weapon.

After adding the ore in the furnace and the system immediately started to increase the heat of the furnace a while Fang Chen started to provide the furnace with spiritual energy

When the spiritual energy touched the furnace some of the heat was transferred back to Fang Chen body but he was not affected at all and continued to supply the spiritual energy. 

As the spiritual energy was supplied the temperature in the hall started to increasing and Fang Chen started to sweat now he finally understood why the system told him to remove the shirt of his robe.

When the temperature reached its peak point the system informed in that Fang Chen has to be ready when a certain time passes he would need to take out the ore from the furnace otherwise all the ore will be wasted.

Fang Chen nodded and prepared himself and and after 5 minutes the ore was done heating and Fang Chen didn't hesitateed and immediately used his spiritual energy to take out the ore from the furnace.

After taking out the ore he put it on the table where he was going to hammer it so that the impurities can be removed.

The system immediately informed him that he can start as the ore has been reached to an optimal temperature so he should start hammering.

Fang Chen didn't waste time and picked up the hammer at 1st he was casually picking it up and he was shocked by the weight of the hammer but he immediately used his cultivation and he was able to pick it up and without hesitation he started to hammer the ore and kept folding it.

Fang Chen was using a very basic hammering technique which was shown in the information provided by the system so every strike of the hammer was very meticulous and it was striking the oar and removing the impurities.

As the time went by he continued to hammer and after 20 minutes the system told him to stop he didn't understand why the system told him to stop but the system immediately informed it.

Once again after 10 minutes the ore was done heating and it was time to take out it from the furnace so Fang Chen took it out and put it on the table and immediately he started the hammering process. 

The 2nd attempt was also failure because he had to complete the hammering process in certain times so that the ore cannot be cooled down otherwise he would need to reheat it and once again start hammering it.

Before he could complete the hammering process the ore has started to cool down and it was of no use so once again he has to start it from the beginning.

He immediately used basic breathing technique to recover his spiritual energy and after that once again he added the ore to the furnace.

After heating it to its optimal temperature Fang Chen took it out and immediately started the hammering process this time he was able to continue the process in a half an hour and with last hammer strike on track he was able to preserve the ore meaning he has successfully done with his hammering for the 1st time. The ore has been perfectly purified. 

Now he has to put the ore back in the furnace so that it can be once again heated to its optimal temperature so that it will be easier to hammer it in the shape of the weapon.

After few minute the system informed him that the ore has been destroyed because it couldn't handle the reheating process so he has to start to it from the beginning.
