Chapter 73: Success

Fang Chen has to practice the weapon craftsmanship. So he didn't waste time and immediately went to the workshop.

He has tried more than 5 times and failed to refine the weapon so he has to start from the beginning he had successfully complete the 1st 2 processes but the 3rd process was causing trouble for him.

After failing for 2 more times he decided that he would go through the information the system has provided and try to pick out the mistakes he is making while while refining the weapon.

Immediately he sat aside and started to go through the information. when he compared 1st 2 processes there was nothing wrong aside from that the number of hammer strikes every time a weapon was refined was different.

He immediately understood that even though he is able to perfectly refine the ore he still should complete the amount of hammer strikes required to for the ore.

Then he checked the remaining process all were same just that the problem was with the hammer strike so once again he started to hit the ore and after heating it to optimal temperature he started to hammer and purify it.

After striking the ore in perfect amount of strikes and within the time limit of half an hour so that the ore cannot be cooled down and immediately ask the system for confirmation.

The system Immediately informed him that this ore is perfectly refined and when compared to the previous ore he has refined this is more perfect.

Fang Chen became happy he had not expected that the problem was within the strikes now he has completed the 1st process now it is time to reheat the ore and start shaping it according to the weapon.

After reheating the ore he started to hammer. this time the process was going very smoothly but at the end of the process he started having trouble keeping the weapon in its place so when he tried to make the last strikes of the hammer to perfect the weapon then the whole ore was destroyed.

Now the problem was that he was not able to control the spiritual energy freely so once again after using breathing technique to recover spiritual energy he started to work.

The process was very smooth till the ore was completely purified now it was time to reheat it and start hammering the ore in to the shape of the weapon.

While he was going to start shaping the weapon the system suggested that he can imagine the shape of the weapon in his mind and then use his spiritual energy to create that shape and then he can start hammering the ore into that shape.

Fang Chen immediately agreed to the systems idea and imagine the shape of a sword and immediately started to hammer it according to the shape.

This time the shape of the weapon was not destroyed and the process was going very smoothly but Fang Chen have started to sweat heavily and his spiritual energy was emptying very fast so now he understood that each hammer strikes takes some of his spiritual energy and adds it into the ore.

Still while hammering he decided to use the breathing Technique to recover his spiritual energy and after that he continued to strike the ore.

And after finally many failures he was successfully able to shape the hour into a perfect weapon only one step was remaining and that was the heating the sword to it's peak and then dumping it in the spiritual pond for quenching. 

So after the weapon was done shaping Fang Chen put it back in the furnace and started to reheat the sword. 

After a few minutes the system informed him that the sword's temperature has reached optimum and now he can put it in the spiritual pond.

Fang Chen didn't hesitate used his Spiritual energy to control the sword and he directly dumped it in the spiritual pond for quenching. 

It is the process which would strengthen the weapon so after adding the weapon to the spiritual pond he hoped that the weapon will be completed and after a few minutes he controlled his spiritual energy and took out the weapon and he was shocked to see that the weapon has broken in half.

Immediately knew that he has failed the refining and asked the system about the problem.

"Host everything you have done is right it's just that when you were shaping the weapon you should check that the weapon should be balanced and proper amount of ore spread everywhere otherwise at a certain point it would break."

Fang Chen understood his mistake and immediately started from the beginning and till the shaping up the weapon he every time he completed the process he asked the system for confirmation so that he will not make any mistakes.

And finally he started the shaping of the weapon but this time after every hammer strike he would check the weapon to see the ore is perfectly spread or not.

He was allowed to strike the weapon for specific amount of time that's why every every strike of the hammer was very meticulous and he would check them very carefully and finally after some time he was done shaping the weapon and this time the ore looks a lot like the sword the system provide him to sell so he was happy to find that the shaping was perfect. 

So he didn't waste time after shaping the weapon he dumped it in the spiritual pond and waited for the quenching process to be completed.

It didn't take time for quenching process to be completed after a few minutes the whole pond started to shine and a sword immediately floated out of the pond seeing the sword Fang Chen immediately knew that he has perfectly refined a grade one weapon.
