Chapter 7: Killing Intent

Second memory = Killing intent

Sitting in the large training ground, you can see a boy and an old man sitting while facing each other.

And those are obviously Jin and his master.

"Young master, today I will teach you about the killing intent" said the old man.

"What is that?" asked Jin.

"Killing intent is the manifestation of your emotion or intent of harming someone in the real world"

"For example, when you were hunting that rabbit you were exposing your true intent to the whole world that you want to hunt that rabbit and that rabbit sensed that intent and ran away"

"So today I will teach you about killing and other intents …"

[JIN P.O.V]

'Today, master is teaching me about something called intent. At first I thought there was only killing intent present in the world, but I was wrong. There are many types of intent such as sword intent, spear intent and so on'.

Suddenly Jin, hit by an invisible wave and forced him to come out of his thoughts, and before he could say something he found that he can not move, not even an inch. A cold sweat started forming behind his back.

He tried to look around and only found darkness. He starts feeling like his heart is trying to break his chest and run away,

Thump-Thump

He tries to look toward his master but only sees a two big red eyes which force him to hallucinate into thinking he's dying in different ways.

Jin cannot take the pressure of the hallucination he is seeing, and he suddenly lost his consciousness and fainted.

AFTER A MONTH

Alok is standing in a magical circle which will lead him out of this basement.

Alok is looking around the basement, there are blade marks on the all over the walls as if someone tries to cut open the basement from inside, remembering it Alok let a small sigh.

This last month, all the time, either he is trying to synchronize memories of Jin or he's trying to break his new body into the pieces because of the exercise he is going through to bring his new body to peak condition.

Alok looks down at his hand, there is a piece of paper on which something is written

Alok put this piece of paper back and activated the circle by poring his mana into it.

A light blue light starts emitting from the circle, and then Alok vanishes from the basement as if he was not there in the first place.

(Location : ETHER | Forest Of Black)

Near the forest there is a ruined castle in which no living being would be found. Suddenly, a magical circle appeared on the ground, from which a boy came out around the age of 10.

[ALOK P.O.V]

As soon as I came out of the magical circle, I ready my weapon by taking out a sword and a small dagger in the other hand.

And looked around, but I found nothing, not a single living being near this ruined castle.

I'm starting to feel weird in my Chest area, but I ignore it. I know it was because of the Jin memory that I have this feeling.

Furthermore, I looked up to the sky and saw the moon shining brightly giving off a blue hue all over the world, I let out a sigh.

After reaching the boundary of the castle, Alok finds a circle carved around the castle, which he knows purpose is to create an illusion and act as a barrier also which that protects the people of the castle from monsters and humans.

But the ironic part is that, because of the same Illusion, this incident was remained hidden from the world for a long time.

It is still hard for him to believe that he is in the world that he has written in a book, but what he learned from his childhood to adulthood is to accept everything that life throws at you with open arms, even some time odd things, with this type of thinking he left the castle area for the first time.

As Alok leaves the castle area he started moving  toward south, he starts feeling nostalgic as if he went from this road many times.

Forest of black acts as a boundary that divides the central continent into two parts, one is the place where people of the central continent live and the other is a place called "TOWER OF END" and that is his main destination but before that he has to stop in between for some power up.
