Tea Party and Lorschel (16)

“Oh, my God! Your Majesty!”

Some of the maids who were waiting outside the Palace opened their eyes wide as their mouths gaped open as well before they closed their mouths and lowered their heads.

Roelin instantly thought of the voice that somehow belonged to her own maid, Silloa. Of course, if she just looked up and checked the face, she’d know exactly, but she only thought about it while her face was still buried in Kergel’s chest.

Nevertheless, she felt like she could feel the gaze that was looking at her. It was only natural that many maids were waiting for her outside, including Lucy, the maidservant.

‘I should’ve told everyone to return to their rooms earlier.’

Roelin murmured to herself. In reality, it was something that had not been possible. No matter how much she ordered, the maids still wouldn’t go back to their accommodation and leave her alone.

She was just embarrassed and ashamed by the eyes that outreached her right now, so she unconsciously thought about the wrong thing instead.

“Everyone, get out of here. I’ll be taking the Empress back to the bedroom.”

“Ha, but Your Majesty……”

She heard how Lucy’s voice was panicking.

“Is there something wrong with the Empress?”

At Lucy’s subsequent words, Roelin immediately flinched. Perhaps the loyal Head Maid began to worry as she had walked out of the room in Kergel’s arms.

“It’s not like that.”

“But why…”

“Like I don’t even know my wife?”

There was a hint of irritation in Kergel’s voice. He just felt impatient because he was trying to go straight to the bedroom. Lucy and the other maids’ mouths instantly closed at the same time when they noticed his inner heart.

“Even if it’s bright, don’t let anyone into the bedroom until I call.”

“……what?”

But the silence did not last long. It was none other than Kergel’s orders that followed. Roelin buried her head deeper into his chest while feeling the heat was rising further in her ear.

She was already worried about how to see Lucy and Silloa’s faces later. But she still didn’t want to stop him……

“I mean, don’t interrupt us. Do you understand, Lucy?”

Kergel repressed his irritation and opened his mouth again. Then, she could hear the sound of quick breathings all over the place. Now, everyone seemed to have noticed it all.

“Hmm… Yes. I see, Your Majesty.”

Lucy coughed awkwardly as she gave an answer. However, Roelin simply leaned on him as if she could hear nothing as she didn’t even turn her head around. Not only her ears but her face was so hot as well.

“I did a good job, right?”

Kergel opened his mouth and asked as he was moving with Roelin in his arms. Roelin placed her forehead on Kergel’s chest while looking upwards at him with her head tilted.

“……?”

“I mean, didn’t I do well? I told them in advance so that no one would dare disturb us.”

“Ah…”

Roelin made a curious look and soon understood what he had meant. Then, with an embarrassed look, she lightly hit Kergel’s chest.

“Why did you say that! How can I even look at them now because I’m embarrassed.”

“What do you mean…… You can just look at it as usual. What’s embarrassing anyway? Are we going to do something bad?”

Kergel was looking forward to her praise and instantly replied in an unexpected tone when he had received a rather abrupt blow.

“Well, that’s not true, but……”

Roelin blurted out the end of her speech when she saw that Kergel’s face looked disappointed. In the meantime, her body shook little by little according to Kergel’s steps.

The touch of the man who was holding her had been very careful even when he must have been quite disappointed with her.

……She felt sorry and she instantly regretted her actions. She felt like she had already wounded him too much.

‘Tonight is going to be our first night.’

She wondered if she had ruined it. Actually, she was just embarrassed and ashamed.

“Are you mad?”

At that moment, Kergel stopped walking and asked her. Roelyn looked up at him straight away. Kergel’s face seemed to show that he was at a loss as he looked at her.

Whether or not she was angry—it had actually been more to what he wanted to ask instead.

“It’s not like that.”

Roelin shook her head. She wondered what to do with this silly man. This man was ultimately too soft for her.

Roelin pulled along Kergel’s arm while still holding onto his neck. Then, he bowed his head and eventually was facing her embarrassment.

—kiss.

Her lips had slowly touched against his and soon withdrew themselves. For a moment, Kergel’s expression went completely blank. Roelin smiled at his look and once again took her lips to his own.

She wasn’t confident in expressing her feelings with words that came out of her mouth. So, she tried her level best to show the courage that she simply could.

Even so, she still wanted to convey her feelings to him right now.

“……!”

Was her heart finally conveyed to Kergel? Suddenly, Kergel hugged Roelin tightly and kissed her even deeper.

It was a kiss that seemed to swallow everything about her as if even her breath could be thoroughly taken away.

Roelin trembled slightly in his arms while still hugging his shoulders and back tightly.

The deep night moonlight poured gently over their heads.
