「Well okay, come outside and show me what else you can do right now. I’ll teach you anything that you can’t do.」

Rofas-san grabbed Bryce-kun’s arm and dragged him outside.

People could learn how to manipulate mana to use magic once they reached level ten?

Does that mean I could learn how to use magic as well?

Uwah, that’s great! I want to try using magic!

I better work hard and level up! Then, if I learn how to use ice magic, I might be able to create some sort of freezing system so we wouldn’t need a fridge!

Alright! Now I had more goals to accomplish.

At the very least, I should get to level ten!

When I made fists to pump myself up, I heard a loud noise outside.

W-what?

I got ready to head outside to look, but heard a crackling noise behind me by the stove. Oh, the rice was done!

I quickly shut off the flame.

「Good morning, Yuuri-oneechan.」

「What was that noise just now? Did it come from the outside? I’ll go take a look!」

Kirika-chan and Kurtz-kun were awake and had come to the kitchen.

However, Kurtz-kun quickly ran outside to check what the loud noise was.

「Kirika will help with you with the rice.」

Kirika-chan must have been thinking about the phrase I taught her, “he who does not work, neither shall he eat”. She put in a lot of effort in mixing the cooked rice to fluff them up.

Ah, now I wished we had a rice scoop. That consequently made me think of chopsticks.

Kurtz-kun slammed the door open in a somewhat excited state.

「That was amazing. Bryce-niichan only recently learned how to use magic, but he could use all the elements! Fire, water, wind, earth, light, everything! Since all of them were at level one, there wasn’t much power in the spells, but still, that’s so cool!」

All the elements?

Level?

Power?

Hmm, there were a lot of things I didn’t quite understand in what Kurtz-kun said. I’ll need somebody to teach me about them later.

「Don’t you want to eat? You won’t get anything if you don’t help out.」

Kirika-chan warned Kurtz-kun like she was the big sister of the family.

「Ah, I will, I will! What should I do, Yuuri-neechan?」

Today’s menu was rice with boar shogayaki. Oh, some cabbage would be nice.

「Can you gather some cabbages from the field for me?」

「Okay!」

Cabbage would suit the shogayaki well.

In the meantime, let’s make onigiri and wrap the meat around them. Today’s lunch was meat-wrapped onigiri.

My plan was to place some of the onion from the shogayaki into the middle of the onigiri, and then wrap the boar meat around the outside of the rice.

If I didn’t make the onigiri now, I had a feeling that all of the shogayaki would be devoured by the end of breakfast.

「Kirika will help you!」

「Can you help me wrap the meat around the onigiri then?」

「Okay~」

I wet my hands and scooped up some rice. I spread it out on my hand and made an indent in the middle. Then, I placed the onion into the sour plum-sized indent and formed the rice into a ball. Grip, grip. I didn’t grip the onigiri too tightly, so it was still airy.

I wondered how many I should make.

I needed to make enough for everybody to eat at lunch, and some for Rofas-san’s bento.

Two onigiri were enough for me, but Rofas-san would definitely need more than that. Assuming that every person ate two, I would need to make at least ten for five people.

In that case, it would be best to make twenty just in case. If there were leftovers, we could snack on them later.

Once Kurtz-kun returned with the cabbage, I chopped it thinly. All the preparations were done.

「Breakfast is ready!」

I opened the front door and called for Rofas-san and Bryce-kun.

Huh?

Was it just me, or did the ground look strange here and there? There was even a hole in the ground.

What on earth did those two do?!

「Hahh, that was a good workout.」

Rofas-san suddenly pulled off his shirt that was drenched in sweat.

「Gyah!!」

No wait, I wasn’t young enough to be embarrassed to see a man half-naked. No, but still, it was just really surprising to see muscles pop out like that at point-blank range.

「Gyah?」

「Rofas-san, dungeon rule! You can’t take off your clothes!」

Nice support, Kirika-chan. That’s right, it was a dungeon rule.
