Bryce-kun’s eyes went wide once he tasted the soup.
「This is amazing.」
Then, the door swung open, making a loud noise.
「I’m home! I’m starving, food please!」
It was Rofas-san.
He said that as soon as he came home. It felt a little strange, since he sounded like a high school boy coming home, like the ones in Japanese drama.
「You didn’t help though.」
Kirika-chan pointed out to Rofas-san without a moment’s delay.
「No, see, I did help. Look at this. I caught some ingredients for you all.」
Rofas-san unloaded the luggage he was carrying on his back.
「Gyah!」
I accidentally let out an ugly scream.
The bundle that I had thought was luggage was actually a small wild boar.
「Rofas-san! We are eating right now! Please take it outside!」
I have no interest in looking at a corpse while eating! Now to mention, there’s probably a ton of things floating around the fur, and those could get into the food. Geez!
Rofas-san then went outside, dejectedly.
「I’ll take care of it after dinner. It’s probably still a little difficult for the three of you to do it, right?」
Bryce-kun said. I nodded in agreement.
「Thank you. Oh, I know, maybe I’ll try making pork bone soup next time.」
「Pork bone soup?」
It should be possible to make soup from wild boar bones as well. I saw it at some festival back in Japan. They weren’t selling pork bone broth ramen, but boar bone broth ramen.
It should be fine to assume that it’s made the same way as the chicken soup, right?
Ahh, but there’s still a lot of chicken soup left, so if we make pork bone soup, we’ll never finish it all. There’s no fridge here either, so we can’t refrigerate them.
Also, once tomorrow comes, it’ll only be me, Kurtz-kun, and Kirika-chan left here…
「No, nevermind. I’ll tell you about it another time.」
「Ahh, I’m so hungry.」
Rofas-san came back.
I hurriedly scooped out some soup for Rofas-san and placed the dish on the table. The soup was still quite warm, so I didn’t have to reheat it yet.
「Here you go. Kurtz-kun helped me make this soup. That’s why it came out so well.」
