Chapter 13: Chapter 13 reunion

Above the surface, one of the investigation teams that was sent to investigate down the trapdoor returned and reported

"A battle has been fought there and based on the evidence it shows that there are around 2-5 people that went ahead."

A human wearing a headlight and equipped with a hazmat-like suit reported seeing a tall woman wearing a coat hiding her face with a hood 

"Call all the people that went inside and wait for my return."

The woman walks to the entrance and jumps down as the remaining human inside starts going up above the trapdoor  

A camera-like thing was sitting on the woman's right shoulder and seconds after it activated and projected a laser grid to its surroundings, scanning the white room 

"Those idiots are here for the weapon."

The woman in the white room rushes towards the near door and starts heading deeper into the ruins

Aila's pov

"They must be near this waste on the floor."

Inside the armory, Aila is standing on the spot where Kyle is preparing to melt the gun parts. As Aila moves deeper into the ruins, checking all rooms along the way, an explosion shakes the entire structure, attracting all security dolls that are dormant in the armory.

"Why now?"

As the dormant security dolls started to move, intercepting any intruder that went inside the ruin. As the security dolls approached, Aila started to deactivate upon hearing a word 

"Lay down"

A voice from the woman that is with the investigation team appears at the entrance of the armory, pointing her index finger at the dolls and saying

"Lay down! Deactivate! Shutdown!"

One by one, the security dolls start to deactivate and hit the floor 

"That's a good hacking device you got there, shutting down an old world doll with just a word, so tell me what kind of human steals the prey of other scavangers."

"If I am a human little sister, I would follow human rules."

The woman in the coat removes her hood and coat, revealing blond straight hair, a thin structure, and beautiful white skin 

"Lisa! Why are you here?"

Aila asked 

"I'm only here for my body." This body that I got 5 years ago starts to take too much damage and without a proper maintenance guy I can't repair or adjust it.

Lisa replied to the question that Aila asked.

Lisa dropped the coat and headed to Aila where she hugged her tight, squeezing her  

"Nice structure, Aila; you're well maintained and have made some body adjustments; did you do it yourself?"

As Lisa is hugging Aila, she starts to force her way out by pushing her elder sister aside 

"I do have someone that does maintenance on me and he is doing a good job on our body."

As her cheeks started to blush red in embarrassment, she quickly hid her face by looking the other way 

"You always hated it when the chief mechanic was tweeking your body, saying only the person whom I truly serve can tweak my reactor and my body, but for today I'll make an exception. You always said it every time we went to the engineering department to do our maintenance."

Hearing what Lisa said, Aila placed her hand at Lisa's mouth, covering what Lisa was about to say 

"I've found someone who meets my requirements."

Aila removed her hand from Lisa's mouth and crooked down into the ground, burying her bright red face into her thigh while holding both of her knees 

"I'm going ahead, lol sis, I need a new body and I'm going to borrow your human for tonight."

Lisa sprinted toward the corridor at the end of the hallway toward where Kyle and Lea were located

Meanwhile, Kyle is packing up. He saw an old metallic circular disk that is 2 inches thick 

"Oh, another treasure to take"

Kyle takes the disk and follows Lea, who's fighting the security dolls at the speed of sound, fully using her arc reactor because her new body can utilize the new structure without worrying about damaging it 

"Ahahahhahha, this body is sweet. The compatibility of the arc reactor and this replica structure is good."

Lea continued to slice the dolls in her way and the crimson blade cut the enemy dolls like paper 

Soon after Lisa reached Lea's location, the two immediately went into combat stance as they didn't know each other 

" Calm down doll, I came here for you."

When Lea heard what Lisa said, she quickly jumped straight to Lisa and slashed the blade, hitting Lea's body 

"Calm down doll, I wish for no combat. You can see structure, I'm no combat related doll."

Lisa tries to calm down Lea 

"Hahahahahaha! Not combat related, fuck you doll, you're a combat controller type of doll, not combat related, my ass"

Lisa raises her guard and starts to point her index finger at Lea 

"I won't repeat. Please calm down or I will be forced to deactivate you right now."

Lea replied with a middle finger to Lisa 

"Not my fault, you are too dangerous to be left alive."

Lisa said the word 

"Shutdown"

Lea's body starts to react differently when Lea can be seen twitching  

"Kyle, get down!"

Aila shouted to Kyle as a deactivated Lea slashed horizontally at the level of Kyle's head to behead him 

After the horizontal slash, Lea readjusted her feet and did a vertical strike at the speed of sound. Only the sound of a blade hitting a metal object has been heard when Kyle takes on the vertical strike 

"Hey human, back out or you'll die."

Lisa shouted to Kyle as Lea held her blade in front of him. Kyle immediately stepped back, dodging the strike of Lea 

Aila runs past Lisa in a hallway and jumps straight into battle trying to save Kyle 

"Humans must be destroyed."

Lea let out some words as her eyes were glowing blood red. Lea slashed Kyle, but at the nick of time, Lisa managed to hack Lea and shut down her security measures, deactivating her

"So what was that just now she shifted like someone who's fighting decades?"

Aila exhaled a sigh of relief when she realized Lea had been deactivated.

"That system just now is the reaction when I try to hack any of the ancient dolls. They have some kind of emergency plan when hacked. The body of the doll will try to destroy anything it sees, even its ally."

Lisa walked past Kyle and headed for the padlocked closet
