In the bedroom of a dimly lit apartment, a machine with a cylindrical tube sat in the corner . Inside of the tube, you could see a decently good looking young man lying seeming asleep. A small blue light inside of the tube blinked ever so often, indicating it's active state.

 

What was happening right now, was that the man inside of the tube was playing a full-dive virtual reality game. He'd been playing the game for nearly ten years since it's release, and like most people, it was his favorite game.

 

Being a secret ranker and professional had made him quite well off, and not only was he pretty rich, he was super rich. Nonetheless, this man knew more didn't always mean better, and he was happy or at least fine with how he lived.

 

Living alone and without an official job made for an easy life, not only that, but when your rich and really good at what you do, it tends to put life in easy mode. Anyways, as the man's body lay stilly in the chamber of the gaming capsule, a rain picked up and started lightly hitting the window.

 

Outside had gotten dark, and opaque clouds had formed in the sky above. Soon enough, the coming rain started to downpour, and eventually lightning lit up the surroundings.

 

It was then that lightning struck the building in which the young man from before resides. It was right were the man's bedroom was, and he was killed in an instant, still unmoving from where he lay.

Well either way, right when he thought 'status', a holographic screen appeared in his vision. It was basically the exact same status screen that the FDVRMMO had. One he was both very familiar with, and unfamiliar with. Similar but different...
