Willow and Athena together with Azure started learning about imbuing magic to weapons, armors and items. The skill used for it is ‘Alchemy’, not just does it increase the effect of the magic it can also be used to make potions and anything magic related. He also taught us that we could imbue skills, jobs and magic spells to Items and weapons or armor.
Athena started imbuing the fire attribute spell that was requested to be used on the sword, she picked up a magic stone and chanted the spell. A magic circle appeared over the magic stone, it was different than the ones that appear on mine.
“That’s it! That is how ya do it. Now put the magic stone on the open space in the handle of the sword.”, Willow picked up the Adamantite sword and showed a slot that had the exact shape of the magic stone. Athena places the stone in the slot and the sword started glowing magically.
Azure was in the meanwhile having trouble learning how to do magic at all, she placed mana here and there without knowing what she was doing.
And I? I was making my sword while listening to them, I was thinking as to what I should imbue into my sword and how. I was mainly thinking about putting ‘Flame Manipulation’ and ‘Spirit Form’ so that I could attack their spirit.
I was making two swords made from Mythril, the metal looked kind of black blueish? Kind of like a gray but a little bit more darkened, I was manipulating the shape of the sword through its heat, I was trying to make a long sword that could easily cut through enemies, and it was working.
After I hit the sword on the anvil, I picked it up and dipped it into a bucked to get rid of the heat. The water made burbling sounds as the heat spread inside the bucket of water.
I picked up the sword from the bucket and started sharpening it, I didn’t need to have a magic stone to make a magic sword. You could also just imbue a spell or skill to the sword, but you would have to activate it with your own mana and with a magic stone it would always be active.
The swords were done and now the only thing left to do was to imbue them with magic, normally the task to imbue a sword with magic isn’t easy. Not all adventurers can do blacksmithing and alchemy. Of course, I’m not a professional at ‘Alchemy’ or ‘Blacksmithing’. I think…
I didn’t know how to make potions nor how to make armor, since I only learned how to make make swords. I could guess how to make them though, like potions you could get herbs and mix them into a healing potion.
I tried imbuing ‘Flame Manipulation’ and ‘Spirit Form’ like I planned on the swords, you could imagine it like creating a program. The swords started glowing faintly like magic power was overflowing and then something unexpected happened.
The two swords turned black as if I corrupted them like I did with the flames and suddenly disappeared. Willow turned around to see on how I was doing, and he became shocked the moment he saw that my swords disappeared.
“What happened to them? What did ya do?”, he asked.
They didn’t actually disappear in the eyes of humans it would look like that, but to me, I could still see them. “If you can’t see them, then that probably means that they have attained some sort of ‘Spirit Form’.”, I speculated, I materialized the swords the same way I tried materializing myself.
“Wait a minute…”, Willow used a ‘No-Attribute Magic’ spell and appraised my materialized twin swords. He suddenly grabbed my shoulders with force. His big hands were enough to occupy my whole shoulder, he looked me into the eyes. “You…. YOU JUST CREATED A WHOLE NEW METAL!!!”, he said, his eyes were burning with excitement as if he was a child.
He used the spell ‘Appraisal’ to figure out what had happened to the swords, since he’s a veteran Blacksmith, he knew probably many types of materials and metals to make equipment.
I just froze there not knowing what happened, his brown eyes were filled with excitement. I have never seen him like this that even Athena was shocked. “Haha! To think you’d make a metal that doesn’t exist. How did you do it? There was no way that you simply just did it! There must be some explanation?!”, Willow questioned me, and I knew there was no escaping it.
I looked at Athena, she did not know that I had the skill ‘Dark Attribute Magic’. She knew however that I was a ghost.
I looked at Athena and she nodded as if understanding what I was about to do, so I decided that I should tell them about us.
“You must have had it tough aye.”, Willow said to my backstory. “Master that’s so sad.”, Azure said. Athena already knew what happened to me, what she didn’t know was where I originally came from.
I told them everything, where I came from, what happened and why I was here. I felt like I could trust them, so I told them everything. I was expecting more from Willow since he lives in the kingdom that I am mostly against.
“You’re not going to do anything?”, I asked Willow who was caressing his beard thinking. “Nah, I ain’t got any reason to. I myself don’t like this kingdom much, but what they did to you two was crossing the line.”, he said while continuing maintenance on the swords. “Also, I don’t judge people by their races, I judge them by what they do.”.
Dawnwell was a human supremacist country, so Demi-humans, dwarfs and elves weren’t exactly seen as common folk, some of them are even treated worse than slaves. The only reason why Willow does not go through such treatment is because of his reputation as a smith.
“What I’m more interested about is the fact that you were reincarnated or were you even reincarnated?” he said, while Azure was hugging Athena as if trying to emotionally support her. “You must know about the story from the heroes, six heroes were summoned from another world to defeat the demon king.”, he told me the same story that Iris had told me.
‘Summoned.’, the heroes who defeated the demon king came from another world, maybe it was the same as mine? “However, your case is different. You did not get summoned nor reincarnated. Your spirit should’ve passed away long ago, but maybe your magic was what kept you alive this whole time or… you were supposed to reincarnate but didn’t reincarnate properly?”, he said.
That was probably the case, it wouldn’t be normal for a spirit of a dead student to just coincidentally end up in another world… wait does that mean I was supposed to reincarnate into a normal family as a normal human child?

Willow picked up the swords that were finished. “Now then, thanks to your Attribute it seems that the mythril ore changed its base ore… I think.”, Willow said looking at the pitch-black and almost invisible swords I made. They probably changed because I imbued ‘Flame Manipulation’ and ‘Spirit Form’. Since I acquired ‘Flame Manipulation’ by continuously using my ‘Dark Attribute Magic’ spell ‘Corruption’, it used the ‘Dark’ attribute mana as its source to manipulate the flames and heat.
“What’s even more incredible is the fact that it changed so fast. Normally for a normal metal to become a magic metal it would take years.”, he said inspecting my swords which I materialized.
Just like any rock or crystal on earth it takes a lot of time for more to from, it could take thousands of years. And magic metal needs to be in an area with thick mana surrounding it for thousands of years for it to become Mythril or possibly Adamantite.
“Now why don’t we name this new metal. It needs a name doesn’t it?”, Willow said looking at me. “Wait, you want me to name it?”, I said kind of surprised.
“Of course! You created it you name it.”, Willow gave me the swords that I made, they were as light as a feather almost strange. “What about ‘Dark Mythril’, I can’t come up with something better.”, I gave it the name. The metal actually changed, it had lost it’s blueish color and turned completely pitch black and the reason why it’s invisible, it is because it has ‘Spirit Form’ imbued to it. ‘Spirit Form’ probably gave it a spirit form so to say.
“Well, it sounds simple and it might actually be ‘Dark Mythril’.”, Willow agreed with the name I gave it and Azure including Athena nodded as well. “Let’s celebrate! We were able to finish the magic swords in time, we might as well as treat ourselves.”, Willow threw his fist in the air in victory.
After the celebration party, Willow drank a bunch of alcohol and wasted himself to the ground, Athena fell asleep because of the overuse of mana while imbuing the swords and Azure fell asleep for no reason.
I was thinking about what to do about the magic clothing that I wanted to make for Azure, I needed her to be in her slime form when needed. I had to make magic clothing for her, but I did not know how to make it.
‘My patience is running out.’, I thought as I looked at the moon that ever shone so brightly.
