Core Skill—Info Scanner (Level 10)!

Compass Carburettor seeped a tremendous volume of Mental Energy from the dimensional storage into Info Scanner, bringing it to Level 10 immediately as he activated it, hoping to get some information. He also levelled up Directional Misalignment to Level 10, using it on the other party to avoid a fate of instant death.

[True System Slayer—Level 49]

This was all the information that he was able to obtain from the other party. As the level of Info Scanner was too low, he couldn't obtain anything beyond that. But, just this was enough for him to understand the threat the other party posed.

He didn't have any intentions to fight, planning to leave as he activated Mecha, condensing three turbofans on his back that unleashed a powerful thrust, causing him to shoot into the skies immediately.

Or at least, that was the plan. But in reality, he was startled, noticing that he had stopped the moment he reached a metre from the ground, unable to move any higher, despite his turbofans continuing to generate thrust.

All the thrust air seemed to be vanishing mysteriously as the Elf gazed at him with a smile, "Where are you heading towards?"

Slowly, a magic circle formed on the ground, spreading out as it emanated a mysterious feeling. Compass Carburettor felt as if he was getting sealed by it as he desperately poured Mental Energy into Directional Misalignment, trying his best to affect the other party.

He consumed a tenth of the massive reserve of Mental Energy within the dimensional storage, slamming everything into the Elf when the other party's eyelids fluttered for an instant. During that blink, the forming magic circle didn't move in the right order, causing a kink to form in the sealing effect.

Compass Carburettor exploded all his strength to created a powerful thrust as he broke out of the seal and flew through the air, also condensing his pair of wings that slammed a torrent of feathers towards the Elf.

Countless booming sounds resounded around the elf as the feathers exploded while Compass Carburettor had already reached an altitude of a kilometre from the ground, still feeling that it wasn't enough as he continued to proceed higher.

The structure of the Mecha morphed, turning into a fighter plane as he expended his Darlac like crazy, breaking the sound barrier before flying about at supersonic speeds.

He had zero intentions to stay at the same place ever again, informing Grisha, "Abandon everything immediately. Tell the ants to make a tunnel deep into the ground and proceed north first. I'll come and rescue you after that."

"Is the enemy powerful?" Grisha asked, expressing worry for the first time after regaining her memories.

"Freaking powerful!" He screamed mentally, still shuddering, feeling as if he hadn't broken free from the seal yet.

Standing on the ground, the Elf gazed at the sky, watching a white trail similar to the clouds form, "He's pretty fast, as expected of a Slayer from a technological world."

The Elf looked around, gazing at the magic circle that had finished forming on the ground, "Still, to think even Destiny Luck had the wrong information about him. He spent a hundred Thousand Mental Energy just to break away from my spell. Even veteran True System Slayers have a hard time amassing such an amount. But, this is just his second world."

"Interesting," The Elf smiled, "As expected of someone that Coincidental Luck had brought to help its situation."

The Elf then gazed at the sky as its eyes shone with a gentle blue radiance, allowing it to inspect the varying levels of luck everywhere.

It gazed around, observing a vast pillar of luck in the distance, one shaped into the tail of a scorpion, "Ahh, that must be Rhizen's luck. So, it manifested like a scorpion tail this time."

The Elf then observed the sky, watching the trail of white smoke, noticing countless dancing symbols around, "I see, so all the luck that Compass Carburettor possesses at present is what Coincidental Luck is providing him. His innate luck seems to have been exhausted completely."

"That makes things easier." The Elf smirked, "Even though it's troublesome, I should first kill Rhizen. That way, I'll be able to hunt Compass Carburettor without anyone to hinder me."

It then noticed a vast sea of Luck turn into a tsunami, rushing towards it, intending to destroy it, "Even I'll die if I am affected by that much luck. As expected, Coincidental Luck hates me enough to make such a large move."

But, the Elf wasn't flustered, calmly snapping its fingers as the magic circle below its feet activated, causing its figure to vanish, "I'll return to kill you again."

The vast sea of Luck slammed into the place but failed to affect the Elf that had vanished by now.

In the System World, Destiny Luck was observing the world, observing the luck of the apocalypse world itself shift to one side, losing balance, "Haha, it seems I've truly pissed Coincidental Luck this time."

"Oops!"

It then giggled a little before thinking, 'Now, the other Luck based Systems are constantly in hiding. I cannot be the only one whose cards have been exposed. I have to pull them all in further by making them realise how dangerous Coincidental Luck can be.'

Thinking as such, it laughed, "This is a battleground for one of us to devour all the other Systems from the Luck Genre and become a Grade 2 System."

"Huh…puff…!" Compass Carburettor gasped for air, slumping to the ground once he had expended all his Darlac reserves.

He took out a pearl from the dimensional storage and swallowed it, condensing his wings that allowed him to glide through the air and barely reach the ground, struggling to move as his bones began to break one after another.

It seemed that even though he had only been trapped within the seal for an instant, he had suffered a lot of damage. "Gah!"

He grunted as his legs snapped in half, along the longitudinal section, causing the pain to become amplified hundreds of times.

"Guh!" He gasped for breath, watching his sight turn blurry before he abandoned his body, returning to his Haggon form, collapsing to the ground before vomiting out blood.

After emptying his stomach, he slumped on the ground, heaving ragged breaths, gazing around to see that he had arrived at a desert, with no sign of life around him, "Ah shit!"
