Chapter 1: Chapter 1: A Strange New World

I remembered exactly what happened that day, when I was going home from feeding the cats in the park because the weather was getting bad.

"Huff, huff" why did the weather get bad all of a sudden, while running home I saw some people going in their house getting cover from the rain, and I alone, the good part was that I was least almost near my house, I then stopped running when I heard a cat's meow which had suddenly caught me of guard.

I was a bit mesmerized by its pink stripes, so I stopped to stare at it for a while, it then leaped onto a wooden bench, it stopped to look at me as if it wanted me to follow it, I don't why but I followed it for some reason sounds stupid I know.

I chased after it until it had stopped on the road while I was on the sidewalk, it had just sat there calmy down in the middle of the road with its head tilted staring at me.

at first, I was starting to get weirded out and was about to go back but then I heard a sound of truck coming near, of course I wouldn't bother but the cat was still on the road, and I was worried.

I tried to bring it come over to the sidewalk where I was, so I started beckoning it with my hand, but it was just rolling on the wet concrete.

it was becoming annoying at first, but I then heard the truck coming even closer and that's when it happened... I didn't know why I jumped to save that cat, but it was like my body moved on its own will.

and that's how I found myself here, in an embrace of a random women with cat ears with light pink hair and blue eyes crying and begging at a man with the cat ears too for some reason.

I was in a room that had a limited amount of light, and it smelled really bad, the clothes or should I say the torn dirty cloth I was wearing didn't really cover my whole body.

"Please I'm begging you! Hes our son we can't give him away just because of some stupid title!" the women said while squeezing me in her embrace afraid that if she didn't hold me any tighter, I'll be taken away.

I heard someone enter the hut, and a boy or maybe a girl that seemed to be 3 walked in who had pitch black hair, and eyes he looked beautiful and had no animal ears, he had run up to the man in happiness happy to get picked up by him.

also, while checking my surrounding, I noticed how beautiful this lady was, she would surely have been famous by now how come I never heard of her before, and I also realized I had become a baby at some point too.

I then checked on the other side of the room, the man and me made eye contact which scared me since he was glaring down at me, "what's the difference we should at least live a good life, at the condition were living in right now, he would die with us it's better to get rid of this one while we have more chances of making another one in the future." he had said.

the man had dark brown hair, and red eyes he also had a scar that slanted right across his face making him look even more fearful.

the women then hit her fist on the floor, "how dare you say that about your own son you swine, you made a deal with one of those dreadful people behind my back, and now you say that to me with a straight face." the women looked very pitiful when tears started falling of her eyes.

"that's enough, Ellie get out for a moment." he had put the girl or boy down and had told him to get out.

they were a bit hesitant but still followed what the man had told him, and obediently got out of the hut, and once he did the man went to face us once again.

"They should be about here and it's no use resisting once the deal is signed, we can't go back but I'm sure you already know that." once he had taken a second glance at me, he walked out the hut to.

once he left the women broke out in tears crying burying her face in the crook of my neck, "I'm so sorry baby, it's all mommies fault please forgive mommy." there was no end to her sobbing.

I of course felt scared because I was somewhere unfamiliar in a baby's body and was about to be taken somewhere. if this is the reincarnation, I got from getting hit from that truck I HATE it, who starts of like this huh?!

 by the time I realized it, it was already nighttime, I had also been in this women's embrace for the longest time.

the man with red eyes was there, but the black hair and eyed child was nowhere to be seen.

"what's the use of holding him so tight when they are already here, would you rather have the whole family including him die with us, and be selfish for just that one little shit." the women said nothing, she just keeping her head down looking at me.

all of a sudden, a huge portal appeared out of nowhere, and a bunch of people with robes came out from the portal making me feel nervous.

"Do you have the child?" a man who seemed to be the leader because he was wearing a dark red robe while the rest a dark blue robe said.

the man who had red eye nodded his head, and then had grabbed me from the women's embrace forcefully making a stinging pain on my shoulder, and the women was also trying hard to get me back.

when the women got to close me, he grabbed her by the hair and threw her down, "you stupid women are you trying to make us live in poverty!" he yelled at her while she was trying to get up, but since she was weak and when thrown down and got hurt, she was even more pitiful.

he then tried to hand me over to the person with dark red robes, I was scared, and started to wail but that was all in vain since they didn't seem to care.

the women was also yelling for me I didn't know what my new was but when I heard the lady cry out, "Shouji" I realized it was still the same, and I had wanted to go back to her embrace, but before anything had happened, I already entered the portal with the people with the robes.
