Gu Xi skipped all the ones on top and saw the last few that he sent.
[AAA]: The announcement just came out. Not only are we moving onto the next round but we get put into Section A!
Gu Xi had saw the “Class A” that he was talking about. As there were too many different topics entering into the competition so, after the first round of review, all of the projects would be divided into Classes A, B, or C.
– Class C was the lowest of the three tiers, focusing on mainly the one that were less valuable or less feasible. If these projects were not able to come up with better or more reasonable designs during the next round, they would be eliminated.
The ones with decent creativity but had not provided sufficient information or were deficient in other areas would be put into Class B.
Only the ones with good creativity, design, feasibility and had provided sufficient information would be put into Class A.
After this round, there were a total of 100 teams that made it into the competition. In reality, however, only 12 teams received the Class A classification.
Under that was another string of [AAA]’s bragging words:
[AAA]: We did so well!
[AAA]: This calls for celebrations!
……
[AAA]: Haha, mainly Bro X’s topic was too creative. @X
[AAA]: Granted, my own design skill was incredible too.
[AAA]: Those who are envious of us are so annoying.
– All the teams’ information were also released along with the result of the first-round elimination.
Even though the exact content of the projects, materials submitted, and individual team members’ information were still confidential, but basic information such as team names, number of team members, and the project name could be seen.
As such, many voices of doubts with regards to their team could be seen.
[“Battle at the Summit of Tiancheong”? What kind of a name is that? Could it sound any nerdier?]
[That sounds like a name came up with by a grade-school kid.]
[Didn’t they change their rules to allow contestants below 16? Perhaps this is a team of minors.]
[How does a team like that get into Class A?]
[Right? I looked at their team information. I have the same doubts.]
Gu Xi’s team only had three members and, judging from their team name, it was not one of the teams known in the forum previously to be backed by famous studios, professional schools, or professional companies.

A “wild-grown” little team like this being able to get into Class A after the first round of review was a difficult pill for many to swallow.
As such, more and more people started talking about them in the forum and their words were full of doubts.
[Am I the only one who found it odd that a small team like that with no background or ability could get into Class A?]
[I looked up their project title – “Companion System”. To be honest, that doesn’t sound all that unique.]
[Exactly. It’s nothing but a little machine that is “smart”. Yeah, my Roomba and Alexa could do the same.]
[Yeah, it doesn’t stand out at all. At the very minimum, being classified into Class A doesn’t make any sense.]
……
[AAA] had to try very hard to not get into a spat with these people after reading all the discussion in the forum. He merely said [Idiots] under the disguise of an alias.
Now that he was in their private group chat, he couldn’t hold it back anymore.
[AAA]: All these braindead people! Our biggest selling point is smartness with a human touch. What do they know?
Gu Xi found [AAA]’s words somewhat funny but it also agitated her some.
What was surprising was that even [Lin] surfaced and said: [Yup. There are all braindeads.]
[Lin]: I’ve reviewed your design and materials. They are feasible.
Feasible, es. And, from his professional perspective, the project has a lot of potential in the future, especially in the area of the consumer’s market.
[Lin]: Don’t worry. I will reach out to my buddies to start on it. We will have a prototype ready in two weeks for our demo. We will show those idiots what it is like to be crushed.
Gu Xi raised her brows when she read what [Lin] had said. This was the first time she had seen him talked so much.
Guess he really was mad this time. Gu Xi grumbled to herself.
[X]: Let me know if I can help with anything.
Gu Xi added.
After she had crash coursed on the basics, she was no longer the beginner that she once was.
When push came to shove, she could always turn to big boss Gu Shao for help. Oh, Gu Yanlin might be able to be of help also.
