<Masa POV>

After flying around in the savanna for a few hours, I realized a few things. First, there was barely any vegetation here so I would be eating meat if I wanted to survive. Two, I haven't seen a single sign of life so far. Three, this is somewhere in Africa. Four, I don't know how to survive here. Although I knew the basics like boiling water to purify it, starting a campfire, don't let the smell of your meat spread, etc. I didn't know how to live comfortably. Hell, this might even be a different world for all I know.

Soon, night approached. I couldn't even come down because I was afraid that I would be eaten or attacked in my sleep. Bugs weren't that bad unless it was a poisonous one or really big, like a tarantula. For now, all I can do is fly until I find civilization, or people at least.

As night felI I still had not found a single sign of human life anywhere. I came down from the sky and sat on a tree, resting my body for a while, although, my body wasn't tired or hungry at all, it was strange. Was this because of my "transformation"?. The sky soon turned pitch black and I went into the sky once again, hoping to find some sort of light of a city or a village in the distance. To my surprise, I found a source of light! The only problem was that, it was one person. A man who looked to be in his 40's carrying a lamp, staring right at me. In the pitch black sky he could see me, and he smiled when I looked at him. This man, was definitely not normal, but he was my only shot at finding food or water.

I slowly came down, standing 15 or so meters away from him. Just in case he had any malicious intent. He chuckled before looking into my eyes and said to me "You don't have to be afraid son, you woulda been dead long time ago if I wanted you to be."

Then, he seemingly teleported next to me and put his hand on my shoulder. I stiffened, realizing he wasn't lying.

"HAHAHAHA, no need to be so stiff buddy, I don't bite." The man said while patting my shoulder.

"Ah, uh, my name is Masa. I... I come from Japan and suddenly woke up in this place. I-if it's possible could you not kill me."

"Well, course' I won't kill ya! Names' Alex and I come from Texas. I came here to live in peace, away from all that damn mess." Said Alex, before adding on. "Well, do you know why you woke up here? And let me guess, you were falling from the sky and ended up here?"

"No, I'm not sure why I ended up here, and yes! How did you know?"

"Well, it's simple. Every time an angel awakens, Goddess Marisa's will she left behind drops them in the safest place they can be. Usually with family or what-a-not. But you ended up here, jus' proof that your situation was bad. The hell happened to you?"

"Ah, uh, I don't remember." I said. I know it was a bad lie but I didn't trust this guy yet. If he was with any of them, I'd be screwed. Alex was strong and fast, I'd be dead or knocked out before I knew it and then would wake up next to one of those angelic devils. I can imagine telling this geezer about what happened and the next thing I know I would open my eyes only to see Kiyomi again. If that happens, I have a strong feeling that I won't have any more chances to escape...

"Well, if you don't wanna talk about it just say you don't wanna talk bout' it. I've had enough with liars in this damned life." With a slightly annoyed tone, he grumbled.

"Sorry... Could you tell me where the nearest city or village is? I need to get out of here."

"Go where like that? If someone's chasing you they'll find you quicker than a black horse in the middle of a dog race."

"W-what...? What do you mean?"

"sigh... I'm talkin' about your god damn essence. It's leaking out, anyone could detect it a mile away."

"W-what?!?! How do I stop it!?!?"

"Calm down. It'll take a few days to do, you can't just do it anytime you want to. Here, let's go to my little shack and I'll tell you how to do it after we eat something, alright?"

"Ah, really? How do you even get food out here?"

"What? You don't know how to? Didn't your parents or whoever helped you ascend teach you this or something?"

"No... It just... Anyway. Uh, could you tell me where the nearest city or village is after I conceal my essence?"

"You're going to go like that?!?!"

"Huh? W-what's wrong with me? Is it the wings? I can hide those so you don't need to worry about that."

"Sigh... This is gonna be a long night..."

***

Now that I've been living with Alex here for a few months, I got the gist of things. I understand so many more things and I realize how screwed I would've been if I hadn't met Alex. He single-handedly saved my life. If I had gone anywhere with my essence still leaking out, I would've been found on my first week. I basically owe my life to him, and now that I've been living with him for 2 years, I've come to understand him a lot more.

The guy was actually 260 years old! He told me that demi-humans age much slower than other brings so I would be in my "youth" for a while. I also learned how to control my essence and my strength, along with my new power.

I was a "chaos" angel and that was rare. It symbolised that I was a neutral angel. Meaning, I can't choose a God/goddess to come to after death. I would eternally rest with no conciousness after death. I could eternally rest, there was no afterlife for me, which I thought was great considering either side I go to I would suffer, from either Kiyomi or Kana. However, in the higher planes of existence where gods and goddesses reside, The chaos angels argued against their creator, Asam. Arguing that the power they receive was the same as any other demi-humans but the afterlife was pointless for them. They didn't get to enjoy life or the afterlife. The goddesses of the several races, humans, angels, kitsune, and more of the many races were greatly angered by this "despicable" remark. They massacred the chaos angels, causing the chaos God to tremble in anger and fear. Knowing he couldn't fight against all of them. If he tried to argue, they would argue back with astonishing remarks, such as "this is for your own good" or "I'm doing this for you, don't stop me" or "I just want you to be happy with me" and other crazy remarks.

Why were there no gods you ask? Well because the goddesses of the races killed them in cold blood. Well, most of them at least. Why? Well, because they were all bat-shit crazy for him, yandere crazy. I mean, they're even keeping his kin in check, not allowing them to gain more power over any other race. They didn't give them a chance to protect themselves. The surviving male gods went into hiding, hiding in other worlds as regular beings. Losing their memoires and most of their powers in the process. They did this because no higher being can interfere with a lower being, otherwise the universe would balance itself, likely giving immense power to the lower beings or the universe banishing them into a lower plane of existence.

So after a mere few years, the chaos angel race became near-extinct. The chaos God, disgusted with himself for not being able to protect his kin, banished himself into a lower world by leaving a message to all the lower worlds, explaining what had happened in hopes that a hero might one day stop those mad women.

But what he didn't know was that those same women, gave up their goddess titles just to descend into the same world as him, hoping to find him one day.

The poor guy reminded me of, well, me. Except just more normal, no gods or goddesses after me... Hopefully...

That's the reason chaos angels like me are so rare. However, I had a "gift". I haven't told anyone about this, not even Alex. I had an ability to "neutralize" things. It was almost like a time stop ability, except it would only stop the object or entity. The object would still take the force once it was in a normal state. Meaning, if I throw a ball, and neutralize it, once I end the neutral phase it would continue doing what it was doing, moving forward. I tested a few things and came to a conclusion on a few things. One, I could add kinetic force to it and it would take that force all at once, for example, if I throw 2 balls and neutralized them and I go up to one of them and punch it a few times, it would go much faster then the other ball once it resumed to it's natural state. I could even break it if I put too much force into it. The second thing was that it could grow. My original max distance I could neutralize something was around 2 meters, now I could do it from 4 meters away. Third, I had a set time limit. Unlike distance, this hadn't grown at all yet. The max time I can neutralize something is 27 minutes and 39 seconds. This hasn't increased at all but it was more then sufficient. Finally, the weight and size. It seems that size doesn't matter and the only thing that matters is weight. If it was over 240 pounds, I can't neutralize it.

As I was lost in my thoughts Alex called out to me, informing me that it was time for another training session. It was time for me to start being able to utilize my essence in a real battle scenario.

-At the same time-

A werewolf woman was covered in blood and sweat, with bodies of angels littered around her, their wings bent at impossible angles and necks ripped out of their necks, barely dangling on with skin and muscle. She spoke out loud to herself. "Darling~ I finally, finally found you~ I'll come to save you from those evil, evil people. That way we can be together, forever in our own little love nest~♥"

 -In another place-

A beautiful petite teenage girl sat on the edge of a tall building. She had mesmerizing black wings. She smiled and spoke while looking at a place far, far away. "Found you, nii-chan~♥"

-In another place-

In a tall 18 story building, a seductive, pink haired woman was sitting on a chair with a flush on her face. "Ara~ you've grown so much. I can't wait to see you again~ Ma. Sa. Kun~♥"
