Chapter 11: Awakening

In a house, a boy is having a nightmare.....

" No ... no ..... "

As the boy reacts to what he sees in the dream, he shivers as he sees only death and death after death, countless times death of some random people he sees in his dream but it seems the dead people is someone close to him.

" No, please!!!! "

" Don't kill her!!!! "

" I beg of you!!!! " the boy says as he sees the death of the random people he felt so close to as if he met them somewhere in the past as the nightmare scenes change into different scenarios with new visions of death.

" Don't kill her... "

" She is innocent.... "

" Car.....!!!!! "

*GASP*

*Alarm sounds*

The boy awakens as he sees the nightmare to be real and accurate as the dream looks like a memory he used to have but at the same time, it's not his...

" What was that..? "

" A nightmare... ? " he looks for his glasses.

As he looks for his glasses, he grabs them and uses them to finally sees tears coming out of his eyes after he sees the dream that he had often seen many times back then.

" That nightmare, that dream... " the boy says while trying to grasp some of the scenes that he tries to remember.

" It felt so real... "

" I don't know why but it feels those nightmares are not just some random imaginations or forced illusions but... "

" Arggghhh... "

"( Grandpa.... )" Ragna remembers the word that he will always remember from his dreams.

" Grandpa... "

" Oh yes, that word... "

" I don't know why but in that dream, the most thing I remembered is the word grandpa that was used by... " he tries to remember who said that word in his dream as he began to vaguely remember a girl that he used to see in the nightmares, in each of its scenarios.

Each time, in each scenario, the girl will always exist though in different forms but still has the same voice and looks he remembered her to have black hair and often wear golden armor as if she was sent from the Heavens.

" By the gods, what do my nightmares mean? "

" A vision? or a memory I used to have in... "

" I don't know, in my previous life perhaps..... " the boy says as he prepares to go for a bath since he needs to go to the Hunters Tower to get more missions for today as a 'Bait'.

" Let's ... forget those nightmares for now.... "

" I hope I will know the meaning someday,.... "

" Someone will explain to me what the dream means.... " the boy says as he prepares to leave his house and contact his grandma who works in the Holy Temple.

As he left, he dismisses his thoughts for he had much important work to do which is work the needs Cash and Credits in order to buy some weapons he could use to fight the Demonic Monster since he is not Ungifted and Unchosen by the gods to have a Gift, a portion of the gods Divine Power the gods bestow upon the chosen mortals in order to empower them to fight the Demonic Monsters that belong to the Deviants.

The boy here, the boy who takes the scene right now, is Ragna Orion Miraikuru Kent, a Bait that helps Hunters to lure the monsters away with his special kind of blood.

As the boy leaves, he then suddenly stops since he suddenly feels a feeling that piqued his curiosity as he senses that there is something happening in the skies above him, but it is unseen.

"( Maybe it's just my feeling... )" Ragna says as he walks away to work.

( Hours later. )

In the skies, an unseen Rift appears as from it comes some kind of a Capsule or an Orb which contains someone who survives the Rebooted Timelines.

" Log ... ummm ... "

" Log .... ummmm "

" Log ... grraaahhh!!!  ... "

" I forgot !!!!! "

" Huh... " I say to myself as I sit in the chair within the System Space after surviving many Timelines as I failed to make 'myself' in those timelines succeeded in at least defending themselves against the Diviners.

" This ...is .... Ragna Orion Mamoru Kent ... "

" After thousand timelines, ... was it... "

" I've begun to lose hope as everything seems to have been fruitless beside me just gathering many resources from every Timeline that I've managed to alter but it seems that *'Myselves' in those timelines are still not good enough and I need one that could least be a vessel to let me succeeded my plans.

" Let's hope in this Timeline, ... "

" For this is my current attempt and I had already didn't want to gamble on succeeding after lots of failures. " I say to myself as I finally arrive at the current Timeline or whatever number of Timeline is this, I don't care anymore.

" Is it one of the Creator's loyalists? " said a woman in her room, sensing the unnatural disturbance in the mortal world.

" This feeling, I sense an Awakening.... " she says.

" Is it time, Is it 'the' time? " she asks herself wondering if it will happen again in this Timeline too, like many timelines before this one.

" I need to inform them, who is still hiding to cover this unorthodox phenomenon before the High Diviners sense it... "

" For this feeling could happen, if right now there is someone in the mortal world that had been awakened their memories from the past Timelines. "

" I need to contact her right now,.... "

" I hope Sera.... can help to minimize the phenomenon for I fear this opportunity will be dealt first by them before it awakens more. " she says to herself as she uses her Divine Communication Space to contact the 'Sera' person as she needs to talk to her about what she sensed earlier, the disturbance in the Timeline.
