"Layla. I am back again. Fate doesn't want me to do your quest, actually. I feel like there's a hidden force behind plotting against us... Do I need quests to see my girlfriend, though?" Reylin said immediately after entering Layla's shop.
For a rare occasion, Layla was behind the desk with Monica nowhere found.
Her face blushed as she heard Reylin's blatant words, and all players in the shop kept switching their eyes between him and her.
Reylin looked quite handsome and young.
What about Layla? She was a fully blossomed woman!
That kind of relationship was definitely more complicated in real life, or so the players thought in the shop, and their eyes twinkled with excitement.
They left the shop, knowing that this one's owner was taken.
Layla extended her hand, "My clients! You scoundrel and thief!"
"Scoundrel? I can understand. I just blew up a lady's face with a flamethrower. I am more than a scoundrel, actually."
"You did... w-what?" Layla's face paled, and she stuttered, her eyes widening with disbelief!
Reylin strutted toward her while she remained like that.
He quickly took her on his thighs after taking her seat.
With her face close, he added, "It was a player. Now, what was my second profession? Thief, right? I am about to steal the soft lips."
Reylin did as he said, and he brought his lips closer to Layla's face. She didn't retreat but just closed her eyes, and the duo kissed. Their [Kissing Level] increased, and Reylin allowed himself to practice that a little more.
"How should I begin my story to wrap it up as fast as possible? It begins with one idiot challenging me," Reylin explained the story to the bewildered Layla. After just fifteen minutes, she nodded toward him and congratulated him.
Then, Layla also thanked Reylin, "Thank you for protecting my world."
"It was nothing but a rewarding journey. I keep reaping the rewards after that zone's ended," Reylin said.
"The Red Sky must be the best reward. With how crazy the world has become, I don't have to ask you to show it to me. One day, I will see it." Layla said while staring into Reylin's eyes.
In those eyes, she saw the satisfaction of the legendary skill, and that made Reylin's eyes quite charming.
The inexperienced lady felt drawn by him, but Layla felt like she saw a fire flickering within his hues for a moment, and she stopped with a smile.
"The players will get pulled by those zones and its quests. But I can see us working together, Layla. Until then, keep working here," Reylin said while standing up.
Layla hopped off him and turned around to face him, "That does sound like a vacation." She sighed, "Vacation with you will be nothing but crazy."
"Vacation too. But what about opening up shops across the continent? What about the whole world?" Reylin said, and his words unknowingly sown some dreams within Layla's heart.
She seriously pondered about his words, "If you want to help me open another shop, then it has to be by my rules. I don't want my shop to be built upon deaths and sacrifices."
"Boyfriend will comply, but only if you promise something," Reylin said with a wide smile.
That smile could mean anything, really.
And poor Layla imagined the hot and steamy bed action that was rather inappropriate this early for a lady such as hers! That didn't seem that bad, actually. And she grew to hate herself a little for thinking like that.
Layla ended up asking out loud, "What is it?"
"That you will never stop pursuing the magic," Reylin said, then threatened even, "If you stop, I will blow up your head." And he flicked her forehead, turning around, "I will be gone for around a month. It's time to level up with my new contracted idiot and get that quest done. See you, Layla."
Reylin left the shop without turning around.
Layla gazed at the closing doors, feeling the hot flick on her forehead, "I am supposed to be older here..."
It made things better with how mature Reylin was, though one could often see his youthness as well.
Layla felt better out of a sudden, and she returned to her seat slowly. She supported her head with two hands, and her eyes stared nowhere.
No one knew what she daydreamed about, but the first player to come to the shop had gawked at her with big eyes, charmed by the shop owner.

[Rey Flames Lin: How's your life as the player butler in the royal castle?]
[The Monk Butler: I've already angered a few maids and butlers here, young master! They can't compare to me, who had received the teachings from the Crown Family's servant family! Even if we have differences, my methods prevail, and I am just better.]
[Rey Flames Lin: I will pinpoint the location on the map. See me here as soon as possible.]
[The Monk Butler: As you wish, young master!]
Sebastian would never fail to answer his young master's command! He made an excuse on the spot and left the royal castle!
Excuses were particularly easy since Sebastian was the player.
He could make even the dumbest excuse, and the residents would believe him.
No one really knew what another world was, after all.
This time, Sebastian conjured a somewhat believable excuse, however. He left the royal castle without tainting the mood of the main head butler and any other royalty.
His mission was quite sensitive, but Reylin needed an honest and reliable player for a bit of test.
"You look better, Sebastian," Reylin said after looking at his butler.
"I am no longer facing any stress, young master." Sebastian honestly replied, and his master burst out laughing.
"There's nothing to stress about in both worlds. At least for now." Reylin waved his hand, and the duo went for a short trip.
"That's not true... There are many things to worry about, young master. I must worry about it in your place as I am your butler," Sebastian explained a little.
"Am I that different here?" Reylin asked, his mind flashing with Vis' expression and words just before their farewell.
Sebastian gulped and nodded, "That's right. The young master's control of emotions is far better here, and no peer bothers you. It's been just peers, but we all know that you are the Crown's weakest link."
"Don't be so brutally honest here, Sebastian," Reylin said, and his words brought a few beads of sweat on Sebastian's forehead.
Reylin continued, "I understand that, however. What can I accomplish with flames, fireworks, and bombs on Earth? Nothing grand, unlike my brothers."
His father's words rang out in Reylin's head, and he repeated those for Sebastian. His lips curved up into a broad smile, and seeing it, Sebastian paled, and he imagined that many people would soon face more of his young master's craziness.
That craziness always appeared when people taunted Reylin, but that smile was a taunt on its own.
"How's Brand and his son?" Reylin asked.
"The son has impressed the royal family with his skills. He seemed natural with the bow, and he received a unique weapon with an adaptable level. The rumors say that he has received a class along with it." Sebastian recited the rumors.
He continued, "It seems like they want to use their wealth from Earth to support the royal family and get influence over a few nobles. I also read on the forum that the cash exchange will be available soon."
"He's taking the risk. What moron invests their real money this early? But well... It's a pretty world, and too much disgusting shit can be transferred from Earth, just like father told me... All the better for me." Reylin whistled, then said, "Keep an eye on them and be up to date with all rumors. Now, stop here."
"Yes, young master," Sebastian nodded and stopped.
Reylin didn't stop, however. He kept going forward, and he spoke through the voice chat in their party system.
"I will use the two EXP boosts I've received from the dark matter's zone. In a party, Tehr will level up with those, and all experience will flow into me. I will also level up, but I must know the distance limit. I don't think this game would allow me to exploit the party system regardless of the distance," Reylin explained.
"I understand, young master. Please, give me a signal when you are ready," Sebastian nodded, his hands holding the bear!
The bear was one of the lowest-leveled monsters. It spawned due to the dark matter, but it had no dark matter in it at all! One could argue it had just one percent, but that mattered not.
In The Monk Butler's hands, the bear remained harmless.
Soon, Reylin gave his signal, and Sebastian killed the bear.
A small exp flowed into Reylin's EXP Bar, and he nodded, "I will continue moving."
They spent two hours on this.
After Reylin learned about the limit, he sent Sebastian back to enjoy his time in the castle. Next, he called Tehr to himself, and it was time for him to fulfill his contract!
