That was another ring, and it bumped with the mountain of jewelry!
Reylin made that by throwing the failure projects into the corner.
He had been learning about his Flame Artist's class during the afternoon.
That lasted for two weeks. During those weeks, Reylin unknowingly raised his mana control, and he learned a few INT points. His mana also increased.
In the Faynom World, the stats didn't go up with the level. You could have countless classes, and it was the class' job to increase your stats. It wasn't good to have many classes, but it was also not good to just have one!
Of course, if one had a unique class that covered a lot of stats, one could stay loyal to just one affinity.
Reylin relied on his items, but that wouldn't suffice in the long run.
It wouldn't take long for players to get similar items after all.
Reylin would think of his class choices later, though.
[Steel Melody: They are out.]
His new friend did a great job in the Northern Rivers Bank's army, and she raised friendship with a few soldiers. They had tried to help her with the monsters, but Steel Melody didn't welcome anyone's help!
She fought alone and even died a few times!
However, her stats went up, and so her weapon skill tree increased with skill points.
"So it's evening already?" Reylin peeked outside the house and smiled.
The crafting class took a lot of time, and since Reylin didn't like a failure, he didn't stop just on a few failures. It was hard to keep track of time, but the monsters and Steel Melody often helped him with it.
He equipped his black robes and left the house.
Since Reylin knew that the mastermind behind the assaults was actually someone from the Blue Rose Kingdom, he knew that there was a high chance of that man seeing through those robes.
Nonetheless, he equipped those and strutted across the land.
The waterfalls were as annoying as ever, and Reylin's pace increased. Soon, he found a group of people with masks. Those were precisely the bastards, and they were under the high mage's command.
Reylin was well aware of it, but he laughed, "Hi."
The guards weren't there yet, and Reylin's voice threw them out of the flow. From their intel, the guards should come in ten minutes! And yet, there was a man behind them in a robe that seemed out of place.
His face remained mysterious, and his stats hidden.
"You must be the one who has been hunting down a few miners and their loot," One of the bastards said, his eyes narrowed, "Don't chew more than you can, rogue bandit."
"I don't like that term. How about you let me join you all?" Reylin said through the disguise, "I left some traces back to me, and yet you guys haven't even contacted me. Do you guys look down on me, or is it that you haven't seen them?
You are also too carefree... It is as if you know when or where the guards will come from."
The bastards exchanged glances, and they came to the same conclusion.
They didn't want him to reveal their backer, so one of them extended his hand toward Reylin, "You want to join us, right? It's just right for you to seek us on your own. You managed to catch us red-handed, so we can go to the details. Help us pack the ores, and follow us."
Reylin nodded and did the requested task.
Inwardly, he sneered as those guys were too simple. He just lied to them, and they ate the bait. He left no tracks or anything like that, and Reylin just continued to focus on himself by using and hunting other miners and practicing his new Flame Artist class.
Reylin also played with the weapon skill tree.
He also sometimes sparred with Steel Melody.
For their common goal, he had also requested something for her.
Reylin knew how to find them through Steel Melody, so he didn't waste his set-up and spent two weeks for profit.
Now, it was showtime!
"Ship? You must be really smart, guys. The darkest place is under the candle," Reylin whistled while following the bastards.
They all smiled widely beneath their masks...
At last, Reylin stepped into the ship. It was a grand ship of high mage, and night didn't matter here. Lights from magical stones lit up the whole ship, and the organization under the high mage's order lived their best life here.
They were known as the Mahtam Team, and their activities stretched out from the underground. In that dark world, they plundered and serviced the nobles for their dirty businesses!
Therefore, they were familiar with the nobles and their requests.
Never did they expect that such a noble person, the high mage, would request their services! And that service was just too enjoyable with high-quality wine and women on the ship that believed them to be 'the high mage's guards.'.
They tasted a little of luxury life, and it was impossible for them to part with it.
They would tear apart anyone who would dare to destroy their current lifestyle!
Would they be able, though?
"Boss, this guy wants to join us," The man, who had extended his hand toward Reylin before, spoke.
He signaled his boss that Reylin was a person on the death list. Many other bastards saw that gesture, and their stances changed... They didn't bother to hide their emotions on the ship, and they were in a room exclusive to the Mahtam Team.
The boss put a glass of wine back on the table and stood up, "We have to be more careful. If one guy can see through us and do whatever he wants in our mine, then our paradise won't last long. It's been not even that much for us to stay here.
He took out his sword while speaking, and his stance was clearer than the sky for Reylin.
Reylin took his hoodie off, and using the player's system, he changed the equipment.
Donned in the flame robes, his stats rose, and he felt the strongest, "It is... one versus twenty. I fail to imagine all of you closing up on me, so how will it be? One versus one? One versus five? Or, will all of you chicken out after I blow up this guy's face?"
"Bold of you to assume that you can kill me," The boss said.

[Rey Flames Lin Lv. 37 HP: 1210/1210 MP:???/???]
"I can't see your... mana?" Adrian asked.
"Bold of you to peek at my mana," Reylin sneered, "Showtime."
