Chapter 13: Chapter 12- Mysterious person

When I woke up I was in a dark place curled up in a ball and only repeating  one thing, “Shinobu-Onee-chan, Shinobu-Onee-chan!” I cried.

“You know she’s not dead, she is going with you to the next world.”

“Wh-who are you and how do you know that? W-where are we?” I looked up, there was the outline of a person. The voice was fairly androgynous so I couldn’t tell if it was a men or women but it seems like they were laughing.

“No no no” she chuckled. “You only get two answers right now. Anyways first of all we are in a sort of limbo area where all the marked goes to pick their skills. But since you already did that I decided to come here personally to talk to you. Secondly, the reason I know your beloved sister is ok is because I was the one who ‘killed her’.”

“What do you mean you ‘killed her’ you mean to tell me that she died because of you?” I asked anger welling up inside me. “Do you mean to say she’s alive?”

“Yes yes she’s alive” I couldn’t contain myself and started crying again, I really want to be mad at this person but I couldn’t bring myself to.

“How did you save her?” I asked, wondering if I should really believe this person.

“While it is true that she was going to make it to the time limit, I decided to have a little fun with my new favorite toy. BOOP” she said that while tapping my nose. “Anyways I took her soul out of her body and kept her here. We talked a lot. She really loves you y’know. She was really sad that you are going to be the only marked with your race, Soo I managed to pull some strings and she is now going to be reincarnated as a ‘Vampire’ instead of ‘Cat-beastkin’. And not any normal vampire, she is going to be a ‘primordial vampire’ ,the strongest type. Anyways I decided to do that as a prank and it seemed to work.”

“So is she here?’ I asked the mysterious person.

“Yes I’m here Luna.” someone came out from behind the person. Tears wouldn’t stop coming out. I didn’t know how but I could tell that she is Shinobu-Onee-chan. She now had long silver hair compared to her short brown hair before, She was taller and paler too. I ran up to her crying and hugged her. “It’s fine Luna I’m safe”

“Alright enough of this” said the mysterious person. “Anyways since everyone else has finished picking their skills it's about time for me to go before I get caught. I also gave you some gifts Luna. You can find them in your status. See ya soon Luna, Shinobu.” As they said that sparkles started coming out of us, and we were in a forest. I wonder who that person is and why did they like me so much.

“Oh right Luna, I’m not your sister anymore” what does Shinobu mean by that, I get that we are different races but shouldn’t we still be related?
