Chapter 3: Chapter 3- special traning I

It's the first day that we are going to be practicing. I couldn’t sit still during class at all; it was a blur to me. During lunch I ate with Shinobu who had her hand on my thigh constantly and Kazuha-san who would not stop asking us about our races and classes even though we told her multiple times what they are. “But Luna, what is your race?” she asked for the 20th time. “First of all Shinobu hands off, second of all I don’t know my race Kazuha-san. It's a specialty race so stop asking please.” I begged. 

After that it was time for special classes, Shinobu and I said our goodbyes to Kazuha-san and headed towards the gym. When we met up with our group we talked about somethings that Uzumaki-senpai found on the website that was updated today.”apparently there are secret stats for some people with specialty races and I think your class is one of a kind Luna no one else on the message board was talking about an assassin class.” That got me shocked, so I’m special, what if my race is also one of a kind wouldn’t that give me some type of cheat?

“Uh Luna is it you that's bad or your class because you are not really doing the whole damage thing right now.” Yep it turns out my class is either really good but has a really high skill floor or is just garbage. I started breaking down crying. What if I died in the next world, what if I’m the weakest. These thoughts started going through my head but I couldn’t help but feel excited that for the longest time I’m going to be in danger for a long time. Almost euphoric thinking about it. Since I’m scared of myself I’m going to start training more and hope to get better at my class.

“Alright that is enough solo time, let's start working as a team now” Uzumaki-senpai, who is basically our leader now, decided to do some co-op runs through normal difficulty because each of us was doing easy solo runs and we all got a feel for our classes. I was even able to help a little. The two weapons I use are knives and katanas. It turns out that I unlike swordsman who just rely on blindly swinging the sword and hitting the enemy, I have to actually be smart about where I have to hit the enemy using my knife to get behind the enemy to deal a lot of damage and for my katana for hitting enemies that are too hard to get close to. I also seem to do double damage to debuffed enemies or ones with a status effect like paralyze or frozen. For whatever reason I deal quadruple damage to enemies with the ‘lovestruck’ debuff as well. I think I am getting a hold of the basics of this class using debuffs to do more damage and aiming for behind the back shots for critical hits. I think I specialize in trying to one-shot the opponent then fighting fairly which seems dirty but if I break down in the middle of a fight I’m done for. Hope I learn more tomorrow.
