So a week soon passed and they were ready to head of to Chaos J Faust's domain.

The party of four just silently walked down the streets of the city - towards the eastern exit - but the uncomfortable silence still was held between them despite this being what they wanted. It wasn’t exactly a straightforward exit for awkwardness that comes from Kat’s situation as well as the fact nobody else (except Lisa) was expecting Eel to feel such longing.

Alisha being the most opposed to her leaving.

<It was very awkward bringing Katerina back and yet even more telling Alisha I’d be leaving for a couple years - mortals are so complicated! Thankfully Kee Lisa combo smoothed it out; I’ll have to get them a nice souvenir~!>

Letting out a long sigh; Eel just tapped her shoulder with her brand new spear. It was fairly simple with not many ornaments upon it - just a spear formed from the charred bones of the {Giant Green Lizard} and sharpened with a tooth. It was certainly a strong work and even had runes written in blood engraved upon the entire shaft of the armament, a combination work between the two little lovers, but that was all.

Purely made for efficiency with no ‘style’.

Something that, itself, wasn’t Eel’s style. Dragons loved treasure after all and treasure had to look nice. Elizabeth Jr’s ‘style’ being that regal ‘wild prince’ aesthetic. Perhaps it was due to a combination of her bloodlines but obviously it didn’t fit with her to have such a plain looking bone spear!

However, it wouldn’t suit her anymore not to shower Emily with praise for anything she made for her. Emily was her beautiful vanilla scented princess after all! It was also a fairly rushed job that Emily planned to slowly improve upon - what she held in her hands now was the base for a weapon she’d been expecting to use for a long time. Although she would likely struggle to find anything higher quality that of a {Sub-Earth Dragon}; their sturdiness was certainly impressive and if she hadn’t gotten lucky even Eel was unlikely to be able to pierce it’s scales. These scales no longer existed though and the reasons were quite simple. That {Pseudo-Tribulation} simply turned them into dust. Even the bones were charred (yet enhanced) by {Pseudo Stratosphere Tribulation of 9 Indigo Lightening Tribulations} which hit the corpse due to the {Sovereign of Storms} armour targeting her. If it was the real thing Eel holds no questions of whether she would live - the bones of the {Sub-Dragon} certainly wouldn’t!

Regardless of that she certainly benefited more than she lost with that encounter… She couldn’t help but be a bit worried about that weird Imp though; Demon or not he seemed like a good person.

<I wonder if he managed to escape - he was certainly stronger than me but escaping from both Jeeves and the Sovereign?>

Shaking her head the scent of vanilla filled her nose as she would bring Emily into a hug with her right arm while burying her face into the Cow’s hair. Gently sniffing that familiar and calming smell. A chuckle could be heard from the paladin and duellist in front of the little pair but Eel Jr ignored them.

“Something wrong...?” <Emily>

“Mmm? Fufufu~ not really. I was just wondering about that Imp I told you about. It’s a pointless worry since even if he was beaten down and killed - Demons just reincarnate back in their own Realm after all!” <Eel Jr>

“Hol’up, what was that!?” <Fuka>

Fuka and Lyada both stopped in their tracks to turn back and stare at Eel with wide eyes. Eel in turn just tilted her head softly with innocent eyes before she spoke in seeming surprise.

“Not common information?” <Eel Jr>

“How do you even know that!?” <Fuka>

“Shh~ it’s early morning…” <Emily>

The polite reminder from Emily got Fuka a bit speechless but she just shook her head and walked onwards - Lyada taking advantage of this to wrap her arms (and breasts) around Fuka’s shield-less right arm. Fuka certainly didn’t complain and decided to live by a mantra of ‘do not think about it and you will not worry about it’.

As for how she knew about it? Her Bloodleaf Inheritance!

She was simply taught it through her inherited knowledge but considering her ancestor was that of a famous type of bloodsucking Demon it wasn’t too surprising to her that some of it wasn’t commonly known. Among those known would be the fact humans winning a war against the demons? Impossible!

Naturally superior, live in a climate to improve their strength and they can’t even die. Mortals don’t stand a fucking chance. Not only that but in terms of ‘Toppler Ranked Individuals’ - people who can be considered in the same realm of power as the Pillars… They have many Demon Gods; at least totalling 9 but her ancestor didn’t seem to care enough to specifically say. She just noticed 9 incredibly powerful people including her ancestor. Demon Lords who are feared among kingdoms and thought to be only below the demon gods themselves - beings able to contend with the gods of the {Mortal Realm} - weren’t even particularly considered strong!

Then you have their leader!

They can punch a hole through the realms so an invasion would be as simple as her punching a few times - her physical strength alone akin to the ‘mana’ of the Infinite Mother. When fully embracing her wrathful heart even the Pillar’s may not be enough to support the {Mortal Realm}... Yet they didn’t invade the {Mortal Realm} so it was obviously something more akin to the split between the larger west and more ancient east.

Of course, Eel was no grass so she wouldn’t share their reasons and it wasn’t like all demons thought the same.

Although monolithic power the secrets in the realm were in place to continue to maintain the warring nature of the demons which was a requirement. Only reason the {Roaming Final Boss} was a thing was because Violet seemed to get bored so often visited other realms only to get angry at the dumb nature of the inhabitants. Something Eel could understand after living with humans all her life.

In contrast demons could be said to be similar but more honest. For example, a demon cannot lie as long as their name is put on the line as their name is the essence that binds them to their realm. Apparently the entire realm itself was one massive array created by the future father/mother of {Chaos J Faust} who will become a figure known by the demons simply as {The Artisan} - a demon of untold power and wit. A figure who plays with the world as if war was just a flick of their brush - a single paint of many which they hold. A more accurate term for them may be ‘The General’ though since other than being a gifted crafter they were (or rather will be) a feared warlord with armies of demons at her beck and call.

More scary yet; is she seemed to view even her own life as a magnum opus - being a monster created from meshing together other monsters and even developing her own races. Some simply made to ‘punish’ those she didn’t like with an eternity of suffering.

Not a very nice individual and certainly someone she didn’t want to fall behind!

Luckily she comes from the future and was only summoned due to being the only demon they could rely on with knowledge provided by {Demon God of Magic & Chaos - Chaos J Faust} and  {Demon God of Endless Knowledge -  Akaibu 'System' Indigo}. Also known as the {Before Children} due to both being created with either the bloodline or knowledge of someone who shouldn’t exist back then.

As for how they were summoned?

A smug smile appeared on Eel’s face as she continued to sniff her girlfriends beautiful white and black splotched hair.

“ Fufufu~!” <Eel Jr>

<Not my problem~!>

Why worry about it when you can’t even deal with a mere imitation of a toppler? Although she had no idea how strong this ‘Kaiser Mantis’ was; her ancestor apparently did not know either due not caring enough. She was sure it wasn’t low considering she aided Violet in the creation of an entire realm, aided the three big families in the creation of a system and didn’t get murdered by Mother after apparently sexually harassing her adopted daughter as well as breaking the seal of the Dreamer to sleep with her as well!

<Yep - not my problem~!>

So, she came to the very heroic conclusion of not telling anyone about all the useful information she had about demons as well as the origin of them.

It didn’t take too long to arrive at the exit gate.

Although the quad was a little bit awkward it could mostly be attributed to a bit of nervousness for their first true adventurer as well as the situation with Kat. A situation Eel seemed to have the most stake but least input into - of course she herself was too busy contemplating the details of how one could ‘create’ a race of their own. Of course she had to acquire the answer from her knowitall girlfriend!

The pair were now walking side by side as Eel carried a bag full of books as well as her own rucksack and Emily consulted one of her books with a pair of cute glasses she didn’t actually need resting on her little button nose.

“I suppose there are three ways; creating them from scratch with magical means like how Imps are mostly born, converting others like vampires can do or through copious amounts of breeding like Succubus like myself were apparently birthed. Though it should be said that very few can create something from absolutely nothing and Imp’s themselves, like all demons, are born from sins of those who enter reincarnation - remnants of what they did during their life.

This sometimes leads to them acquiring knowledge from their past life if the ‘remnants’ are strong enough. Though many are driven insane and become wild beasts or were originally beasts in the first place - these are demonic beasts or demonic monsters. Similar in nature to our own monsters within the {Mortal Realm} according to Munzumira. This isn’t a problem for demons born from already sane demons though.” <Emily>

“I didn’t ask for a lecture about demons silly~.” <Eel Jr>

With that, Eel reached out to casually push that little button with a smug but fawning smile on her face. The awkward feelings are nowhere to be seen between the pair of non-mortals. Emily blushing softly as her ears trembled slightly at being teased but she seemed happy enough and she jumped to Eel’s side to hug it, hiding her little embarrassed face in Eel’s side who just let out a familiar ‘Fufuu’.

At the gate were the usual pair of guards who seemed far more sleepy than the little Cow-Succubus and far more on alert.

It was no doubt due to rising tensions between countries and the rather ‘explosive battle’ just under a week ago. The real surprise to Fuka was that there were only 2 guards - surely the level of security should’ve risen? But no, it remained the same if not lower since they saw none wandering the quiet streets.

Streets that were usually busy & filled with the unfortunate were empty.

The gate not so much as it seemed the guards were having a hard time with all the merchant wagons and adventurers attempting to leave. Some of them even came over to greet the little dragon - Fuka was too busy looking around with apprehension.

“This is strange…” <Fuka>

“Not really; that stupid oversized {Rock-Lizard} focused most his guards on the war front and even took in any anyone else he could. Dragons are prideful anyway so he doesn’t think he needs anyone else to guard his city - even after he got embarrassed by the bastard.

Hell, Orrid has even apparently attempted to force some adventurers which shows how desperate the country is - most likely the beardless-goons doing it as I doubt a dragon could come up with any plan other than to do it themselves. Either way it shows the war isn’t going how they wanted but of course they only pissed off more people - amusing show though.

Now they’re reeling from the repercussions as merchants scatter like bugs and adventurers go to their competing countries instead. Adventurers are dumb as hell but dislike their freedoms being encroached on let alone merchants who only trust themselves and gold. They would never get caught in a country that appears to be forcing anyone to fight - best get away before they regroup and attempt another ‘recruiting campaign’ after all.

Fucking humans.” <Red-Haired Man>

At the gate; waiting for the line to move; was a lone wagon with no guards in sight to guard it or the man upon it.

The lone man sat upon the seat with a pipe in hand, legs crossed and left arm upon the headboard. He couldn’t seem any more casual despite the tense looks of everyone else in a similar situation as himself. It appeared like he didn’t even put Lord Shanta in his eye as he took a long drag from the pipe before blowing it out.

As for weapons? He also had none on him.

He had a loose dress shirt with baggy black pants - a crimson sash acting a a belt for his waist while his cuffs tightened around his wrists where his fair hands appeared. Crimson nails sat upon the ends of his slender fingers but as a swordswoman of about B-rank they noticed something many others wouldn’t.

Calluses from years from holding a sword on both of his otherwise soft hands.

A sharp jawline was bare of any hair with sharp crimson eyes that seemed more focused on admiring the sky than anything else. His long crimson hair would be tied up behind his back in a loose fashion - the bobble only actually doing it’s job where his hair reached his nape.

A nape which although fair as the elves still had a fair bit of muscular definition. As did he on the whole. The buttons of his shirt were even half undone to reveal a very well built chest and abdomen with strongly defined muscles - his look strongly reminded her of a certain little dragon.

She couldn’t help but gaze towards Eel who was distracted by trying to balance her spear on her nose to the applause and yelling of other adventurers who were working as guards. He thoughts ripped away from her by Lyada’s surprised voice.

“Smoking Violent Kiss?” <Lyada>

“What?” <Fuka>

She couldn’t help but turn around to look at the man in shock. As a drug it was considered very high-class but also very dangerous - it’s effects were outrageously strong but had the nasty side effect of crushing the intent and will of those who smoked it. It could be said it was the drug that only Demon Lords could handle but it was also very expensive and the market for it was mostly handled by Succubus apparently.

Lyada herself only knew about it due to some chance encounters as a courtesan where some mysterious but wealthy (and surprisingly handsome) men booked the entire brothel at that time. It was quite obvious why some rich men were doing such. Having the typical rich man ‘orgy party filled with sex, booze and drugs’ - even she couldn’t help but be curious about where they came from but she had a feeling she knew what they were.

Vampires - considering all the girls had a very ‘exhausting’ night she was sure they weren’t human.

Fuka obviously heard about this so her gaze held some worry and suspicion.

The man obviously noticed but didn’t seem to care as he just took another drag - ignoring the guards who were also looking over now. Instead he casually glanced at the little purple haired dragon and succubus before shaking his head. Blowing out a plume of smoke while gazing at the half vanishing moons in the distance.

“This realm is so tedious. No matter how many enemies you’re presented with, you always find the time to pick a fight with those who couldn’t care for you. I’m just trying to enjoy my vacation by farming strawberries…” <Red-Haired Man>

Shaking his head softly - he turned his gaze towards a guard who came over with a frown.

“Smoking narcotics has been ma-” <Guard>

He vanished into a bloody mist that dispersed faster than many people even noticed. If some adventurers were paying attention they may have but they were too busy patting Eel’s back after she failed and had her spear slam onto her toe causing her to pout. The other guard did the only reasonable thing and fainted instantly.

Since people weren’t happy with the city anyway the line soon began to move.

The man just let out a sigh.

“Just let the brat do her thing - the worst thing that could happen is she dies.” <Red-Haired Man>

With that he reached out casually with her left hand - loosely holding the reins to a pair of demonic horses known as {Nightmares} which only caused the pair of intimate lovers to widen their eyes even more with shock. As their name likely pointed two, they were a type of demon that were naturally skilled in mental magic - a magic that could be said to be the father of illusionary magic. Of course, theirs were a demonic form of {Dream Magic} called {Nightmare Magic} - not as skilled as Succubus who use both types interchangeably.

Didn’t take one too long to figure out that they had likely been under the influence of the demons this entire time as just their demonic aura made the pair shiver. These demonic horses alone stronger than the {Sub-Dragons} Fuka had no choice but to run from!

The man just lazily whipped the reins to get the pair to carry him forward.

“What did I get myself inta… *Sigh*” <Fuka>
