After a good night (for both loving pairs) they quickly pack up camp before heading off. Of course the pack mule carrying the majority of their stuff was Fuka - as a paladin she was both strong and sturdy which is exactly what was required for carrying supplies. Not only was she carrying them but in an unconventional decision Eel was also carrying some while lazing around at the back.

As the person filling the ‘scout’ role it makes little sense for someone like her to not only be carrying valuable supplies but also goofing off at the back of the party; yet as they traveled towards the village this was exactly the case. It wasn’t like they carried much in the way of rations anyway due to Eel being akin to a cat let outside whenever they stopped for a break. Both wandered off without a care or worry in the world only to return with a dead animal in their mouth.

The reason why Eel also joined in carrying supply was because she was bored and since they were close to a major city nothing that dangerous (other than those wolves) would appear any time soon.

“This will never go well…” <Fuka>

“Hm?” <Eel>

Eel looked over while her finger was placed upon Emily’s lips as a biscuit was pressed into her mouth.

“Something’ll go wrong - it always goes wrong. We’ll run into bandits, maybe the village is actually run by a blood cult or a demon has escaped {Demon Realm} ‘n’ we’ll have to kill them!” <Fuka>

“Don’t be racist…”

“Yea, demon lives matter, Fuka. You can’t just say stuff like that.” <Eel>

Shaking her head in apparent disappointment - leaving Fuka speechless - while also moving her hand to softly pet Emily’s head. Meanwhile Lyada didn’t seem to worried about anything and just walked on ahead. Seemingly the entire team except Fuka felt like nothing would occur which caused her to bite her lip softly and pout.

“Nothing happened…” <Fuka>

“Of course nothing happened with me around, fufufu~!” <Eel>

“No, something will happen in the village while we’re looking around… I’m sure of it...” <Fuka>

The journey to the village was peaceful as nothing approached after the wolves from yesterday and so they arrived at the city completely unimpeded. Lyada and Emily just gave Fuka a strange look while Eel just rolled with it perusal; despite not fully understanding what Fuka was getting at. Fuka just sighed while continuing on with their plan.

They didn’t need to purchase much and most of what they carried was actually just treasure (currency) from Eel’s massive amounts of rewards from her quest competition… As well as looting all of the bodies of those she’s been ambushed by. A lot of the people who attempted to capture her were the types to do a lot of dirty work for nobles; they made a lot of money which then became Eel’s money!

“Something is bound to go wrong…” <Fuka>
