Eel & Emily decided to leave the obligatory stuff - such as informing the Guild of the attack, village being a bandit nest and also resupplying - while they would do something more important. It could be said that their mission in this village was the most complicated one since it involved doing something only the two of them could do with each other (or Leaf) - spend some time being a lovey dovey~!

Lyada was left to watch over the carriage while Tom & Fuka had stepped up to counter to quietly discuss ‘what had happened’ only to be quickly rushed into the back. It only took a few seconds for those around when Fuka shared the story to turn whiter than Emily’s hair. It was doubtful that the adventurers guild would be so scared over some bandits… Well they were the adventurers guild of a backwater village in a backwater country so maybe they would be but it was more likely they were made aware of Jeeves.

The two girls were also in the guild but the two were hand in hand while browsing through the various missions. Though they weren’t just side by side as Emily was actually in front of Eel with Eel’s fingers intertwined from behind. Eel’s arm wrapped around her shoulder while she happily rubbed the cow's exposed tummy causing her floppy ears to wag gently with her own sleepy smile.

It was very obvious that Eel was in a good mood.

Eel being in a good mood made Emily happy which then was enhanced by Eel doting on her little cow. The little dragon had her chin resting on the cow's shoulder as she gazed over the wooden tags/missions while the cow had a faint blush on her cheeks. A soft smile plastered on Emily’s face while Eel had the smug smirk she was renowned for in Shanta.

“Fufufu~ these jobs all seem too easy. This one is just routing out some {Brown Back Bears} for a silver piece - not even enough cash to fill the gap in my teeth~!” <Eel>

“Hehehe~ your hair is tickling me with you resting on my shoulder like that…” <Emily>

“Oh~? That’s ticklish? What if I do… This!” <Eel>

With that Eel tightened her grip around her succubus - abruptly rubbing her own cheek against the cows causing an explosion of giggling from the happy cow. On top of that the cows entire body was trembling as well as fidgeting under the ‘ticklish’ assault on her.

“S-stop that I-I can hardly breath!” <Emily>

“Oh~? Don’t worry about that - if you stop breathing I’ll just have to give you mouth to mouth my precious little treasure.” <Eel>

That ‘prince charming smirk’ doing it’s charm in making Emily (as well as many onlookers) hearts skip a beat. Even despite her young age it seemed being dashing was in Elizabeth Jr’s very blood - that blood must also be thick.

“Hm~? This quest seems more interesting - a B- ranked mission. Apparently there’s an old church dedicated to {The Dreamer} just past the meadow adjacent to the next village. This shrine has since become home for a tribe of goblins that have been trying to undo some evil seal for the last century - the seal was supposed to be redone but the priests of Light can’t deal with the goblins numbe-

Pff as if some clergy from a country wide organisation couldn’t find the man power to deal with a tribe of goblins. If the goblins were that powerful what is the point of propping up that fake hero? Clearly they can’t be bothered to get their hands dirty and deal with the goblins~!” <Eel>

“Funny how believers of the god of light do the shadiest things…” <Emily>

“Can’t have shade without light… Seems interesting though so I’mma accept this quest as one of our batch~! Rest are just standard boring stuff with no beasts I haven’t already hunted…” <Eel>

“We’re still in the same country so it’s not exactly unexpected you can’t find anything new to hunt Beth - if there were some unique animals this close you would’ve already travelled this route…” <Emily>

“Huh… That’s certainly true I guess. *Yawn*” <Eel>

To outsiders and guild staff that had overheard what their party members were talking about… Well they gave them a weirded out look. They were just chased by the infamous ‘murder hobo’ himself yet were happily flirting; even just knowing the fact that the monstrous villain was around made the people shiver and consider abandoning everything. Who was Jeeves if not someone you avoided at all costs?

Yet these girls showed no sign of worry and the big boobed one was draped over the sleepy cow planting kisses on her cheek. The bell-like giggle of the cow filled the room with a joyous mood for those unaware of the ‘looming threat’.

Of course, Eel & Emily didn’t think that pushing Jeeves back a little was enough to scare him away. Rather, Eel was in such a good mood because of what happened shortly after they escaped from the forest…

Having just escaped from the manifestation of the creeping reality of death the group of four were obviously quite tense. Elizabeth Jr. and Emily slowly walked beside the carriage as it slowly rolled down the meadow towards the village; although Eel & Emily didn’t carry anything as they were still wary of an attack they at least took some load off the horse. There was no way they would feel right rushing the tired horse now.

It had just run for its life as well as their lives.

They couldn’t push their saviour anymore than they already had. It was also in consideration that Jeeves could reappear at any time thus making them run for their lives again - although Eel managed to push him back… Nobody believed it would work a second time. Even with max-level {Light Magic} enhanced by her {Momentum Manipulation} did jackshit against him in that form. This was without him even being able to defend himself… Or rather he probably could’ve but didn’t bother to. Maybe her sword intent could do something but Eel doubted she could overpower Jeeves’ intent.

As they wheeled down they caught the attention of the various young adventurers who were crawling through the mud for herbs. They gained suspicion while the two youngest members who were wandering were getting black looks. They weren’t even hiding their contempt for the two young girls which couldn’t help but make Fuka break out into a laugh despite the stressful situation.

These rookie adventurers were eying Eel who, by herself, was already one of the top adventurers in this shithole country. Then if you add the boosts that Emily no doubt would provide (Emily probably being the best support in terms of buffs, defense and crafting for the entire country) there was no doubt Eel could breach the B ranks.

If they were jealous of their strength or ranks at their age Fuka wouldn’t find it strange. They weren’t jealous though… Instead the look they gave the dragon was more akin to the contempt the strong gave the weak. The old gives the young. The look an experienced person gives a rookie.

These fools must’ve thought Eel came here to take their job; how could Fuka not find this hilarious!

She stopped laughing fairly sharply though.

While Fuka was laughing suddenly a bunch of golden motes began to concentrate in the road in front of them. The horse quickly came to a stop as Eel reacted immediately; running in front of the afraid and tired horse. As the light slowly built a tall figure that towered over everything else in the meadow. Based on the shape though this figure was humanoid at the very least.

The light began to sharpen, forming a more concrete shape that quickly made Eel shocked beyond comparison. She even dropped her arms to her side with an open mouth while looking up in wonder as the light soon clearly appeared as a golden armour adorned giant.

This wasn’t just regular armour though as it was very reminiscent as a certain ‘sovereign’ but with one very important difference. Instead of the motief being that of a dragonoid the helm revealed the face of a lion with a sharp mane that pointed behind his head - a giant red plume fluttered in the wind as colour returned to the man's figure.

Off his shoulders was draped a crimson cape with the {Stratos Indigo Empire}’s flag just like that of {Sovereign of Storm}. He even had a similar (if far longer) double guarded sword spear but even more famous was a giant shield fitting his massive frame. Compared to this sturdy golden shield the walls of Shanta may as well have been a fence!

As he soon spoke his voice carried the weight of a mountain yet somehow was more calming than terrifying.

“Hello little hatchling - I don’t suppose you’ve seen a little flamboyant man. He should be about 6 foot tall while carrying his own tombstone around as a sword. Though don’t call it a sword in front of Bloodleaf if you want to keep your ear intact hahaha~!” <Photon>

“Grawr~!” <Eel>

It was very clear that Eel had lost all her levels in {Common Language (Orrid Kingdom)} after meeting the man in front of her. In fact she was speaking but it was mostly in growls after her shock de-leveled her. She was even on all fours while circling around the knight with a happy smile on her face causing the randoms to look at her in confusion; those of her party looked shocked at the knight though. She practically went full beast mode as she sniffed him as much as possible - her 9 spear tipped tails popping out her rear to wave about like a puppy.

“I am pretty great hahaha~!” <Photon>

The man didn’t seem to mind her reaction as he just tapped his left shoulder with the gigantic ‘spear’ in his left hand. If anything he was happy she wasn’t giving him the usual human reactions - foxes weren’t that different from Lions right? He hummed for a second while letting the young girl do his thing before turning his gaze (hidden under the shadow of his helm) to the forest behind them.

“Ah, so the troublemaker is in the forest huh… Well you have no need to worry about that old dog anymore. This Lion will make sure he has a long night ahead of him hahaha~!” <Photon>

With that he lifted his shield from the ground (a large indentation already made in the ground) and began to slowly walk towards the forest. Compared to Sovereign's slender armour Photon was obviously far more heavily armoured than her. He didn’t even make an attempt to hide his path into the forest as his heavy footsteps made it simple if someone wanted to track him… But why would he need to be careful?

He was fucking Photon!

“Well, ensure to make your ancestors proud and study well under Bloodleaf. You’ll have to make sure you're a hero worthy of your bloodlines or it won’t be worth pissing off Aneki hahaha~! Then again rather Aneki than little Purps getting violent… Or Mother;Last thing I need is her ‘deep cleaning’ a continent again.” <Photon>

He didn’t even turn around as he spoke and before Eel could come back to pretending to be human he was already gone. She didn’t mind though; neither did she give chase. She had already been able to sniff him while it was a huge honour that she would need to live up to! Words of encouragement? Who cares about those when a smell could be sniffed!

Thus, after suddenly running into her favourite figure in history she had forgotten all about Jeeves in favour of bliss.
