All of the Void Spirit Tribe living beings were horrified to discover that a ball of flame had appeared in their hearts.
This was a golden flame with no substance, but it truly did exist!
“Ah… What did you do to all of us?!” An expression of horror finally appeared on the Void Spirit King’s face as it stared at An Lin in astonishment.
An Lin’s body slowly rose into the sky, and he looked down upon all the living beings below him as if he was a mighty god.
“I’ve already told you that I’m here to deliver Divine Punishment upon you for your crimes! Each of you will now all have a ball of flames in your heart. If you show genuine remorse and repent for your sins, the flames will disappear. Otherwise…”
An Lin flew higher and higher, and his body gradually disappeared.
“Otherwise what?” the Void Spirit King asked in a panicked voice.
There was no response as An Lin had already disappeared.
All of the Void Spirit Tribe living beings in the main city erupted into a state of frenzied panic.
“Oh my God! What is going to happen if we do not repent?”
“Don’t just leave us hanging!”
“Spokesperson An Lin, please come back and finish your sentence!”
“Ah… My obsessive-compulsive disorder is killing me!”
…
Spokesperson An Lin disappeared after leaving that incomplete sentence.
However, that incomplete sentence was like a seed that quickly planted itself into the minds of all of the Void Spirit Tribe living beings, spreading widespread fear and uncertainty as a result.
Soon, even the Void Spirit Tribe living beings outside of the main city were also made aware of Spokesperson An Lin’s decree.
Each of the Void Spirit Tribe living beings now had a ball of flames within their heart. Such significant news would obviously spread quite quickly, and before long, news of what had taken place in the main city had spread like wildfire across the entire territory.
Tina and An Lin stood silently below the stars as they surveyed the sequence of events that followed.
“What was that ball of golden flames? Didn’t you say that interfering with the entire tribe would result in conflicting commands that would bring them to ruin?” An Lin asked.
That’s right; even he didn’t know what those golden flames were.
“I didn’t actually interfere with the tribe. Those golden flames are just a simple projection with shape but no substance. It has no actual effect on the Void Spirit Tribe aside from a placebo one,” Tina explained with a smile.
“Is this really going to work?” An Lin was a little perplexed.
“It definitely works. Every time they see the ball of flames in their heart, they would reflect and evaluate their own actions. Those flames are like mirrors that issue constant warnings to them, exerting a subtle influence upon them over time and forcing them to make a decision.”
Tina’s emerald eyes flashed with a peculiar ripple. “I’m going to correct the mistakes I have made in the past. I’m going to slowly wipe away all of the incorrect commands I issued!”
She had once created the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts and made it their mission to destroy other highly-intelligent living beings. However, the evolved Void Spirit Tribe had inherited this command from their Spirit-Engulfing Beast ancestors, which was not a good thing. Only by wiping away this command could Tina right this wrong that she had committed.
An Lin and Tina left the Divine Mirror World.
This was not something that could be corrected in a short span of time. Things like this would only eventuate with the passage of time.

The bright and vibrant sun hung in the sky as a gentle breeze blew through the air.
Colorful streamers hung on the lush trees, dancing gently in the breeze.
A brand new school year had begun.

Prodigies from the Kingdom of the Nine States and even the rest of the Tai Chu Continent flocked to The United University of Cultivation with anticipation and yearning in their hearts.
Vice-Principal Yu Hua looked at the list of freshmen in his hands with a wide smile on his face.
“Hahaha… The freshmen this year are of much better quality than last year. There are three Spirit Nurturing Stage prodigies, and over eighty percent of them are high-rank Dao Body Stage cultivators! The gods are smiling down upon the Heavenly Court…”
Vice-Principal Yu Hua sighed with contentment.
“Yeah, right.” Earth Immortal Yue Ying rolled her eyes as she adjusted the red frames of her glasses. “All of them are here for An Lin. Who wouldn’t want to get to know this legendary character renowned across the entire Tai Chu Continent? There’s a good chance that all of them will flock to the Four Nine Immortal Sect after they graduate!”
Vice-Principal Yu Hua winced upon hearing this. “Not taking into account other matters, the Four Nine Immortal Sect won’t even be able to take so many people!”
Earth Immortal Yue Ying crossed her long, well-proportioned legs with a smile on her face. “They definitely can’t take that many, so the Heavenly Court can just take all of their rejects.”
Vice-Principal Yu Hua: “…”
“Sigh… My good mood has been completely spoiled by you.” Vice-Principal Yu Hua lay down on a reclining chair as he looked up at the ceiling.
“Liu Qianhuan, Tang Ximen, Xuanyuan Cheng, Su Qianyun, Xu Xiaolan, Yao Mingxi, Yao Xiu… These are all exceptional talents, and all of them have either already been taken by the Four Nine Immortal Sect or reserved to be taken later. It feels like our university is just a training center for them…”
Vice-Principal Yu Hua was suddenly very sad.
“It doesn’t really matter.” Earth Immortal Yue Ying spoke with a faint smile, “I would be displeased if someone else were the sect leader, but I think it’s good that An Lin is the sect leader of the Four Nine Immortal Sect. After all, he’s technically a member of the Heavenly Court as well, so those prodigies that go to the Four Nine Immortal Sect definitely won’t just forget our Heavenly Court.”
Vice-Principal Yu Hua nodded as he pulled out a stuffed bun and munched on it with relish. “It’s just a pity that I won’t get to have such delicious stuffed buns again after he leaves.”
“Chef God An Lin’s restaurant will still be open even after his graduation,” Earth Immortal Yue Ying reminded.
“I’m too poor… I’m not some immortal with families that own spirit stone mines. I’m just an ordinary principal who can’t afford such luxuries in life,” Vice-Principal Yu Hua rolled his eyes as he spoke.
All of the freshmen entered through the school gates.
The first thing they asked their upperclassmen was not where their own dorm rooms were located, but instead:
“Where is Senior Student An Lin’s dorm room?”
“Where is Senior Student An Lin?”
“Waah, I want to go see the Lord of Transcendence…”
After putting on a disguise, An Lin strolled through the schoolyard with Xiaolan’s hand in his. He sighed as he looked at all of the fresh, new faces in the university.
Not only was he a legend of the school, but he appeared to also be a mascot for the school as well. He was simply too popular, so he had no choice but to disguise himself. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to go anywhere as all of his fellow students would create a watertight barrier around him.
“Look, An Lin, it’s the place where we first met.” Xu Xiaolan pointed a slim finger at a lush tree outside the school gate.
As An Lin looked at the large tree, the events from four years ago flashed into his mind as if they had only just taken place yesterday.
A smile appeared on his face. “It sure is. That was the first time I saw and spoke to a Celestial Maiden.”
A faint blush appeared on Xu Xiaolan’s face upon hearing this, and she harrumphed lightly as if she was displeased with An Lin’s smooth-talking ways. However, the smile in her eyes betrayed her true emotions.
She suddenly felt the urge to make fun of An Lin a little. “And that was the first time I heard someone barking like a dog. I was thinking at that time that you were a lot like a dog.”
An Lin: “… You still remember something like that!”
“The first meeting is always glorious and unforgettable,” Xu Xiaolan said with a smug expression.
An Lin held onto Xu Xiaolan’s soft, warm hand as a smile appeared on his face. “I AM like a dog, but not just any dog! I am a vicious yet loyal dog that will stay by your side for the rest of my life.”
Xu Xiaolan’s mouth gaped open as she stared blankly at An Lin.
Her residual blush had not yet receded, and now, it had deepened even further, to the extent that even her ears were as red as a ripe apple.
Xu Xiaolan was trying to make fun of An Lin, but she was defeated by An Lin’s slick words instead…
