Chapter 1316: A Barrage of Snow Mountains

“What is it?” Xu Xiaolan also tensed up upon hearing this.

It must have been something quite serious to draw a reaction like this from An Lin.

“It seems to be…” An Lin turned to look into the distance as an expression of shock surfaced on his face. “A snow mountain!”

A snow mountain?

Xu Xiaolan wore an incredulous expression.

Just the thought of a snow mountain flying toward them from a distance away was already an absurd concept. On top of that, The United University of Cultivation was situated on a floating continent in the sky. Didn’t that mean the snow mountain was flying high in the sky?!

That was even more inconceivable!

However, Xu Xiaolan quickly found out that An Lin was right.

The black dot in the distance was slowly expanding in their eyes, and it really was a flying mountain!

This was a tall mountain over a thousand meters tall with its upper half covered in snow and ice while all sorts of strange plants grew on its lower half. It was no different from an ordinary snow mountain.

However, this mountain was imbued with a strange power.

For some reason, An Lin’s instinct told him that this was no ordinary snow mountain.

Whoosh…

An extremely massive and powerful formation appeared over the entire floating continent upon which The United University of Cultivation was situated. This was a Dao Integration Stage defensive formation.

In the face of this formation, the snow mountain was nothing. Even a divine mountain over a hundred thousand feet tall would not be able to put so much as a dent in the formation.

However, at the moment the snow mountain struck the formation, a peculiar, twisted power appeared, tearing a huge hole within the formation that allowed the snow mountain to crash into a mountain within the university.

Boom!

An earth-shattering boom erupted.

The snow mountain flattened the mountain upon which it had fallen on.

“Holy sh*t… What the hell was that…” An Lin was dumbstruck.

Shouldn’t the snow mountain be pulverized after crashing into the formation? Why was that not the case?

This spontaneous disaster had alerted all of the mighty figures within the university.

The snow mountain had crashed into a rather secluded location away from the classrooms, so the majority of students had not been made aware of it.

Right at this moment, An Lin’s expression shifted drastically.

“Holy f*ck! Another one?!”

He turned to look up into the sky, where another black dot had appeared.

The black dot slowly expanded again and revealed itself to be another snow mountain.

The snow mountain whistled through the air and crashed through the formation again before diving into a massive lake within the Forest of One-Thousand Peaks.

Boom!

The earth tremored violently again.

A gargantuan splash appeared over the lake as a massive fissure over ten thousand meters in length appeared on the ground.

In the end, the beautiful lake was transformed into a cold, dead snow mountain.

All of the students in the classrooms felt the ground tremor and quake beneath them, as if the earth had just sneezed.

“What the hell? Where are these snow mountains coming from?” An Lin looked into the distance with a grave expression. He didn’t know what lay in the distance, but he knew that there was something there!

Xu Xiaolan suddenly thought of something. “An Lin, do you remember how the same thing had happened to the snow maidens of the Opposite Shore Realm not too long ago?”

An expression of shock appeared on An Lin’s face. “You’re saying the same being from back then is hurling snow mountains at us now?”

Xu Xiaolan nodded with a heavy expression. “It’s very much possible.”

This was not a good notion.

The snow maidens had the Great Empress to protect them, but they still suffered extensive casualties. How were they going to combat these snow mountains now?

Right at this moment, another snow mountain hurtled toward the university from the distance.

This snow mountain was over ten thousand feet tall, and it crashed toward The United University of Cultivation like a terrifying meteorite imbued with boundless kinetic energy, determined to crush this entire floating continent!

“Crap! It’s heading for the classrooms!” An Lin’s expression shifted drastically.

Xu Xiaolan’s heart also jolted with shock. The snow mountain was aiming for a location where many students and teachers were gathered. If it was allowed to fall there, it would result in countless casualties!

The emergency alarm was already blaring and was audible in every corner of the entire university.

One mighty figure after another rose into the sky.

“Impudence!”

“This is the Heavenly Court’s territory!”

“Who dares to wreak havoc in our university?!”

Enraged cries erupted into the heavens as close to ten Return to Void Stage mighty figures sprang into action at once.

They were all teachers of the university, and Vice-Principal Yu Hua was among their ranks.

At this moment, tens of thousands of teachers and students had come out of the classrooms, and their faces paled with horror at the sight of the gargantuan snow mountain crashing down upon them.

Some of the freshmen were too scared to even walk.

Boom boom boom…

One earth-shattering spell technique was unleashed after another, all of which were aimed toward the snow mountain in the distance.

The teachers and students on the ground below all fled as they looked up with anticipation on their faces.

Return to Void Stage spell techniques crashed into the mountain and exploded violently, sending fearsome shockwaves surging in all directions.

However, the massive snow mountain seemed to have been enshrouded by some sort of mysterious power that none of the spell techniques were able to penetrate. In fact, some of them had even been absorbed into the snow mountain!

All of the students and teachers paled even further upon hearing this. Return to Void Stage spell techniques were completely ineffective! What the hell were these snow mountains?!

“Great Astral Shift!” A dazzling divine dao light erupted from Vice-Principal Yu Hua’s entire body, and countless stars appeared in the air before engulfing the snow mountain in an attempt to transfer it to a different location.

His thought process was correct. If they couldn’t destroy the snow mountain, then he would just have to move it.

However, the might of the snow mountain was far beyond Vice-Principal Yu Hua’s imagination. When his power of the divine dao made contact with the snow mountain, an invisible barrier kept it at bay, preventing it from taking effect on the snow mountain itself.

It was as if Vice-Principal Yu Hua’s spell technique had landed on thin air.

It’s over…

His face paled with despair.

Right at this moment, an extremely massive whale suddenly appeared. It was over three kilometers in height and over ten kilometers in length, making it even larger than the snow mountain! Its gargantuan body instantly obscured the entire heavens, making everything fall dark, as if an ancient mythological beast had descended.

Principal Wang Xianyu had made his appearance!

“Howl…”

A ferocious cry erupted from the whale’s mouth as he crashed head first toward the snow mountain.

Seeing as spell techniques didn’t work, he would just have to use a brute force physical attack!

That’s right, this was the full-force strike of a Dao Integration Stage super mighty figure, and it was the purest form of physical attack. The terrifying force behind this headbutt was powerful enough to shatter an entire continent!

Boom!

The gargantuan whale crashed into the snow mountain.

Another earth-shattering boom erupted as shockwaves exploded forth for over a hundred kilometers.

Crack crack crack…

Semi-transparent cracks finally began to appear on the snow mountain.

The snow mountain itself didn’t appear to have sustained any damage, but the force behind the headbutt traveled through the invisible barrier and acted on the snow mountain.

Finally, the snow mountain’s trajectory was altered by the gargantuan whale’s full-force attack.

The snow mountain fell elsewhere, razing a few small mountains in the schoolyard to the ground and triggering violent tremors that threatened to crack open the entire floating continent.

Everyone had no doubt that they would all be dead if that snow mountain had fallen upon the classrooms.

Tens of thousands of students and teachers yelled in unison, “Long live the principal!”

However, they only had a chance to cheer for a few seconds before two black dots appeared in the distance again, both of which were aiming for the same location!

Wang Xianyu hadn’t even had a chance to catch his breath, and he was immediately plunged into despair at the sight of the two snow mountains hurtling toward the school at the same time.

“Run!” Vice-Principal Yu Hua roared.

All of the teachers immediately began to disperse the students.

No matter how powerful Wang Xianyu was, he could only take on one snow mountain at a time.

There was no way he would be able to combat two at once!
