Crack, bang…
Outside the gate of the Four Nine Immortal Sect, spell technique firecrackers were set off on the grassland.
Colorful fireworks exploded into the sky, creating a series of beautiful images in the night sky.
Red and golden lanterns had been hung up within the sect, lighting up the drab, monotonous night.
On a small plaza near the sect’s Full Moon Mountain.
Thousands of people were gathered in celebration, creating an extremely lively and bustling scene.
These were the Four Nine Immortal Sect’s core members, as well as its inner-sect and outer-sect disciples, and all of them were gathered to celebrate!
There were male and female disciples dancing onstage.
There were also disciples drinking to their hearts’ content, or sparring and discussing dao, or participating in all sorts of challenges and lottery activities.
The Four Nine Immortal Sect had grown vastly more renowned and had become the unofficial fifth sect of the Kingdom of the Nine States.
All of the inner-sect and outer-sect disciples were very proud of the fact that they were members of the Four Nine Immortal Sect, and they could walk tall and proud anywhere they went in this world.
Of course, none of them would take advantage of their position to bully the weak.
Why was this the case, you ask?
Take a look at the Four Nine Immortal Sect mantra, and it would be easy to see why this was the case!
Freedom, democracy, peace…
The Four Nine Immortal Sect still abided by a policy of quality over quantity, and there were only just over five thousand members combined, including both inner-sect and outer-sect disciples. The four great sects all had probably in excess of a million disciples in total.
Looking at it this way, the Four Nine Immortal Sect did appear to be a little short on people.
However, An Lin didn’t care about that. He couldn’t just take in any disciples. In particular, the inner-sect disciples had to be chosen with care. All of them had to be approved by their respective pavilion lords first.
Furthermore, if this were a competition of population, the Four Nine Immortal Sect could bring out their forces in the Divine Mirror World and on the Divine Source Continent, and they would still be able to easily outstrip the four great sects combined…
“Look! It’s the sect leader!”
“Ah! Should we propose a toast to him?”
Some of the female disciples were screaming, while others wore expressions of entrancement and intoxication.
As outer-sect disciples of the Four Nine Immortal Sect, this was the first time they had seen their legendary sect leader in such close range. He really was just as handsome, elegant, and graceful as the rumors said…
An Lin was quite familiar with expressions like those. People only had such a lofty impression of him due to their reverence toward him. In reality, he was aware of what he looked like.
No matter how you looked at it, he was still slightly inferior to Big Brother Cheng in terms of looks.
An Lin turned toward his reverent disciples and gave them a warm, pleasant smile.
Many of the female disciples were screaming again upon seeing this.
He then casually strolled through the plaza, trying to familiarize himself with the outer-sect disciples. After all, these disciples were often completing all sorts of tasks and missions all over the Kingdom of the Nine States for the sake of the sect, so the least he could do as their sect leader was to interact with and get a little closer to them.
He would drink some wine and chat with some disciples from time to time while asking them about any suggestions or thoughts they might have.
He politely and euphemistically turned down all of the female disciples who invited him to dance. He was not that type of guy, after all.
Xu Xiaolan was still around, and he still wanted to live to a ripe, old age.
After interacting with everyone for a while.
An Lin took the stage. Thunderous applause had already erupted before he even said anything.
He looked down at the familiar and unfamiliar faces below the stage with a wide smile on his face.
An Lin cleared his throat. “Now, it’s time for me to introduce to you the newest members of our Blood Pavilion. There will be thirteen new members in total, consisting of Cassidy, Tobias, Merlin, Jesse…”

A series of Blood Tribe mighty figures wearing red robes with golden hair and crimson eyes made their way onto the stage before bowing and waving at the disciples below the stage with smiles on their faces.
Each of the disciples drew a sharp intake of breath upon seeing this lineup.
“Those thirteen new members are all Return to Void Stage mighty figures, right?”
“That’s what I’ve heard. And they’re all supposed to be at the Return to Void Intermediate Stage or above. Among them, Tobias and Jesse are Return to Void Final Stage mighty figures!”
“That’s way too terrifying! Just the Blood Pavilion alone is probably powerful enough to compete with one of the Nine Imperials now!”
All of the disciples were gasping with admiration and amazement, as were the pavilion lords and elders.
An expression of amazement appeared on Tang Ximen’s face. “As expected of An Lin. Only he can subdue so many mighty figures.”
Liu Qianhuan was unconvinced. “I can subdue them too! If these people aren’t obedient, I wouldn’t mind giving them a taste of my Starfire Annihilation Cannon!”
Su Qianyun cocked her head to the side with confusion in her dreamy, blue eyes. “Liu Qianhuan, aren’t you supposed to be a young sorceress? Why are you into battleships now?”
Liu Qianhuan replied with a wide smile, “This is all part of my training to be a better young sorceress!”
She wasn’t going to admit to the fact that she was sick of throwing around the techniques used by Lux the Lady of Luminosity!
“Oh…” Su Qianyun nodded even though she didn’t really understand.
On the stage, An Lin continued his announcement, “Now then, I’ll be announcing the structure of the Blood Pavilion. Firstly, the incumbent pavilion lord of the Blood Pavilion, Bryce, has decided to retire due to old age. The role of pavilion lord will now be undertaken by Tobias, while Cassidy and Merlin will be the deputy pavilion lords. Everyone else will be core disciples of the Blood Pavilion.”
All of the disciples swallowed involuntarily upon hearing this.
“The Blood Pavilion is probably the most powerful pavilion within the Four Nine Immortal Sect, right?”
“Of course! Even their weakest disciples are Return to Void Intermediate Stage mighty figures! Where else are you going to find a pavilion like this? Not even the four great sects are this bad*ss!”
“Wasn’t I only in seclusion for two years? What the hell happened to our Four Nine Immortal Sect…”
All of the disciples discussed spiritedly among themselves.
The Blood Pavilion was the most powerful pavilion in the Four Nine Immortal Sect?
Xiao Ze chuckled to himself, but he did not say anything. The three Return to Void Final Stage mighty figures of his Dragon Pavilion hadn’t even said anything yet. Furthermore, Xiao Tu was already preparing to make a breakthrough to the Dao Integration Stage soon.
Bai Ling also had a similar reaction. The Starfire Battleship of her Purple Star Pavilion hadn’t even launched a salvo yet.
Tina also raised her tiny, proud chin. She could easily recruit a bunch of Return to Void Stage mighty figures into her Realm Pavilion. In another century, the Divine Mirror World was going to be far more powerful than anyone here could imagine!
Thus concluded An Lin’s announcement.
The small plaza once again became a sea of joy with all types of activities and competitions that yielded astonishingly lavish prizes.
All of An Lin’s disciples did extremely well in all of the activities.
For example, Xiao Ze, who “wasn’t that good with words”, came first in the love talk competition.
Not only had Fanny been knocked head over heels by his performance, even some of the female and male disciples felt as if they were falling in love with him!
An Lin made some extensive notes during that segment.
Or for example, in a competition to see who was more adorable, Ye Ling imitated mewling kitten to take first place over Da Bai.
Da Bai was not convinced. He was clearly more adorable than Ye Ling.
However, the judges were used to seeing Da Bai acting adorable all the time and were somewhat desensitized, which was why Ye Ling’s refreshing display secured her the victory!
Da Bai had no choice but to accept this verdict.
There were many fun events similar to this one.
The Four Nine Immortal Sect’s festivities lasted an entire night.
The disciples only dispersed the following morning.
An Lin did not disperse with them. Instead, he was looking at the group of Blood Tribe mighty figures before him with an extremely solemn expression!
