At the core region of the Kingdom of the Nine States.
Within the White Nectar Sea.
This was a pure white sea with no end in sight.
At the center of this ocean, there was an extremely thick and tall tree spearing directly into the heavens, and no one could see where its pinnacle lay.
The trunk was covered by ancient bark, which created an indestructible suit of armor. Countless tree branches spread outward, upon which leaves and smaller branches flourished, and there were also all manners of unusual flowers blossoming at the tips of the tree branches.
All types of adorable beasts and birds chirped and leaped around joyfully on the gargantuan tree, creating a beautiful scene filled with serenity and vitality.
As one traveled up along the tree trunk, their horizons would continue to be broadened. Mighty figures with exceptional eyesight would even be able to see the land beyond the White Nectar Sea.
The tree trunk pierced through the clouds, through the atmosphere, and had even reached above the sun.
A woman in white boots wearing a light green dress sat on a branch, gently swinging her fair, long legs. Her green hair danced in the wind, and pink flower petals from the tree branches swirled around her hair, creating a beautiful scene to behold.
She wore a green floral wreath on her wrist, and she tucked stray strands of hair behind her ear, revealing her pointy ear. Her orange eyes were as dazzling as the sunset, striking the onlooker with a sense of entrancement. At this moment, her eyes reflected two colors; a world during daytime and a starry night sky.
At the pinnacle of the tree, the scenery was out of this world. Even during the day, one could see the entire world as well as the vast starry sky outside of the world.
The woman sitting on the tree was so beautiful that she did not look as if she belonged to this world. Her beauty was something that should not exist in this world.
Her brows were gently furrowed at this moment, and she had her eyes fixed upon the northern direction, as if she could see through countless kilometers of space to survey the scenes there.
After a long while, she muttered to herself, “It’s An Lin and Chen Chen again. Not only did they break my formation, but they’ve even smashed the Northern Heavenly Gate now…”
At this moment, a lark flew over to her.
“Chirp chirp, chirp chirp.”
A smile appeared on her face. “The news has already spread. Light, Earth, and Sea must be furious right now! However, your plan didn’t succeed. The ideal scenario would have been for the human race and the Heavenly Human Tribe to wear each other out, but who would have thought that those Heavenly Gods would get trapped before they could kill anyone?”
“Chirp chirp chirp…” The lark was a little disappointed.
The woman gently tapped the lark with her finger.
The lark’s vitality was instantly sucked away, and it was reduced to dust.
The woman took a deep breath, as if she had just had an enjoyable meal before turning to the north again. A gorgeous smile appeared on her face as a hint of curiosity burned in her eyes. “An Lin… Just who are you?”
In the North Cang Mountain Realm.
A few figures were flying toward the Kingdom of the Nine States at an extremely fast speed.
They had just done something very big, and all of them were in very high spirits.
An Lin had even taken a group photo of everyone at the ruins of the Northern Heavenly Gate. This photo was not just a simple souvenir. It was proof of their latest conquest and would most likely appear in all newspapers on the Tai Chu Continent in the near future.
Dongfang Zhuangshi was probably going to become a celebrity as well.
He had already decided to become an accomplice to An Lin. The Heavenly Human Tribe wanted to destroy the human race, so they were a threat to Dongfang Mengjie. How could he stand by idly and allow the woman he loved to come under threat like this?
He decided to risk it all and throw himself into the deep end!
“I feel like we just did something extraordinary again without even realizing it,” Xu Xiaolan murmured.
“That’s true. I’m only just beginning to come to terms with the fact that we’ve just destroyed the Northern Heavenly Gate…” The Celestial Thearch was still reeling from excitement. From beginning to finish, all he had done was push the bronze gates before the Northern Heavenly Gate exploded.
Talk about getting carried.

“Fate works in some wonderful ways sometimes.” An Lin sighed with emotion.
He was also in awe of what they had just done. He was initially planning to just beat up a few mythological beasts to increase his cultivation base, so how had they ended up destroying the Northern Heavenly Gate?
“This mission was both perilous and quite simple.”
Chen Chen turned to An Lin with a smile. “You endured the most perilous portion. If it weren’t for you trapping those five Heavenly Gods in Tina’s world, there would be no way that we could have destroyed this Heavenly Gate.”
An Lin nodded. That was true.
Xiao Fu had told them that they were dead for sure, only for them to stage an epic comeback.
The rest of the story was a series of smooth sailing leading up to the destruction of the Northern Heavenly Gate.
“However, why is it that this time, my power of mountains was effective against the pillars?” An Lin was still perplexed.
Chen Chen paused momentarily before replying, “Perhaps because you didn’t create the Northern Heavenly Gate?”
The Celestial Thearch, Xu Xiaolan, and Dongfang Zhuangshi were both dumbstruck upon hearing this.
Um, no sh*t? How could An Lin have created a Heavenly Gate?
However, An Lin knew what Chen Chen meant. If he was the Heavenly Darkness God and he had created the Southern Heavenly Gate, then it made sense that all of the other Heavenly Gates were opened by the other paramount Heavenly Gods.
“Normal Heavenly Gods shouldn’t have the power to open Heavenly Gates, which means that the Northern Heavenly Gate was perhaps created by the Heavenly Earth God?” An Lin speculated.
Chen Chen nodded slightly. Those were clearly his thoughts as well.
The Heavenly Mountain God possessed a part of the Heavenly Earth God’s power, so it made sense that its power could disrupt the Heavenly Gate created by the Heavenly Earth God. This was an extremely important piece of information that they had to take note of.
“So why didn’t the Heavenly Earth God appear here?” An Lin was still perplexed.
“Apparently, the Heavenly Light Goddess has a special ability that can help one recover from backlash from the Heavenly Dao.”
“After the Heavenly Earth God’s intervention last time, he had already been afflicted by a backlash from the Heavenly Dao. Hence, he’s most likely receiving treatment from the Heavenly Light Goddess now,” Chen Chen speculated.
An Lin was enlightened. “No wonder you suggested destroying the Northern Heavenly Gate.”
A thought then occurred to him. “The Northern Heavenly Gate corresponds to the Heavenly Earth God, the Western Heavenly Gate corresponds with the Heavenly Sea God, then who opened the Central Heavenly Gate and the Eastern Heavenly Gate?”
“The Heavenly Light Goddess opened the Eastern Heavenly Gate,” Chen Chen replied.
“How do you know that?” An Lin was perplexed again.
Chen Chen smiled. “The sun rises in the east.”
An Lin: “…”
Was that really a reliable analysis…
“As for the Central Heavenly Gate, I only looked at it from afar. I didn’t dare to approach it as my instincts told me that if I was to approach it, I would very likely be unable to return alive,” Chen Chen said with a grave expression.
Everyone’s heart jolted upon hearing this.
What kind of danger could make Chen Chen say something like this? One had to realize that Chen Chen possessed power comparable to a paramount Heavenly God…
Everyone set this question aside for now.
Two hours later.
A vast expanse of lush grasslands appeared before them.
A smile appeared on An Lin’s face.
Four Nine Immortal Sect, I’m back!
